Do not go here. I had a mole removed and they did not remove all my sutures/stiches ten days after my surgery, so I had to go elsewhere to get the sutures removed and the wound did not heal correctly. I contacted the office multiple times about getting the sutures removed and they did not care and just wanted the bill paid immediately. It is difficult to speak to anyone on the phone there as you will be on hold for 25 minutes. The staff is always in a rush and don't care about doing a thorough job. It seems that this office cares more about the elective cosmetic services then anything medical related. It is hard to get an appointment at the office you want to visit so they want you to travel to their other offices which are not close. I had a mole on my head that was atypical but not cancerous, but they said I should get it removed. They told me that the removal process would be quick and that all my hair would regrow. I showed up to the office to get the mole removed which they did not inform me of what the process would be and just told me to lay down. I asked multiple questions, and they said that it will be quick with no other details. Most the staff there are very young and immature. They will talk about their weekend and completely ignore the patients. I laid face down for over 45 minutes with the staff never asking if I was comfortable. When I returned to the office ten days later for the 8 sutures/stiches to be removed there was only 6 removed and 2 were missed. I'm not sure how they would have missed removing the sutures, but the staff seemed to be in a rush. I went home and a week passed by till I realized that 2 of the sutures/stiches were still there. The wound was hurting, and I could feel the hard sutures still there, so I called the office which they did not believe me. Attached is the photo of the 2 black sutures still there (My hair was longer at that time but is still noticeable). After five months none of the hair has regrown and there is a large scar that has not healed correctly. The scar is very noticeable now and I must wear a hat to cover the missing hair. Same review is on google. Sorry for the text length, but please read it all. I've been going here for a few months. My original doctor isn't available for two months, so a few days ago I asked the receptionist to see if there was anything earlier with anyone else, seeing that my appointments only take 10 minutes and can be done easily. She said she could send me to Pediatric (my age meant I beat the cut) the day of, which was great. After coming in, I was told they were behind 40 min. and if I left my appointment would be canceled. No problem - I can wait. It was weird though to see that people who came in after go in before me. I was actually pushed to the end before they closed at 4, which I didn't realize until I left. My real issue was with the doctor: I usually come in for a reoccurring scar issue, so I asked her to do what my normal doctor does, but she vehemently refused. I pointed out my elevated scars to her, and she even felt it with her fingers! But no she said, saying it's actually flat and the firmness is just bone. At that point I was just dumbfounded. Like, I would bet on my own life that the scars are NOT FLAT, and it's NOT BONE??? How does one counter an argument that there isn't a rock in front of you, when anyone can literally see it - it's colored boundary and all - and even feel its firmness and elevation? Okay, I thought, so I then told her that I've been coming here for months (I emphasized on months), and my normal doctor has been treating these same scars, and they absolutely have a positive reaction from the treatment, as in they actually flatten out well. But even after this protest, she repeating that same thing, how it's going to have a negative effect (something I already knew about beforehand, from both my original doctor and a basic google search). I paused to choose my words carefully to not make things worse, then asked if she would perform on the scars she was willing to work on. Although she refused to work on the biggest three, oddly she was willing to treat some smaller ones. During treatment, however, she slightly relented and to my appreciation, she did treat the flattest of her initial big three refusals. It was so surreal; I've been doing this for months - I know the results of what the treatment my original doctor is doing; it was as if I was getting gaslighted. How can one unironically make such a bad conclusion? There was another person in the doctor's room with us, which I assumed was some nurse or trainee. I really wanted to bring them into the conversation for another opinion, but knew it would be uncomfortable for them so I didn't. It is not in my belief at all that she's a bad person; she in fact seemed like a kind woman. Nor would even say she's necessarily a bad doctor; undoubtedly she has never before encountered an [annoying] issue like mine in real life as opposed to the books, but everyone makes mistakes! It's okay! But her sheer refusal to even slightly reconsider her first I-would-bet-everything-on-being-wrong conclusion left me incredibly frustrated - a stark contrast to my initial optimism coming in. I did my best to be cordial the entire time though, given her right to physician autonomy. But you can see it! You can feel it! Your colleague agreed that something is there and successfully treated it before! You hear stories all the time of women whose comments go dismissed by male doctors leading to negative results - being male, I can't even claim this. But this intransigent mindset coming into problem solving, almost like an arrogance or even condescension (was it because of my age?) simply isn't appropriate in any setting, towards anyone. Even without malicious intent! I want to emphasize this: she was definitely not trying to be a bad person or doctor. I'm sure for the majority of simple skin issues, your child will most likely be given the correct steps to address their own. But for my issue - which I guess seems to be less than trivial - I was failed. Or maybe there was negativity because she just wanted to go home but they pushed me to the end. This review is based on the Naperville and Crest Hill offices for cosmetic procedures only. I visit Dr. McClusky's office for skin concerns/check-ups and have nothing but great things to say about her. I started getting laser hair removal in 2014/2016 on my upper lip and armpits. At the time I was located closer to the Crest Hill office so I went there. I had about 3 or 4 sessions before I stopped because I thought that was enough. Last year I began picking up the sessions again because I noticed that the hair was still growing back on both my arms and armpits. (I understand that most people won't see actual results until after the 6th session) but I also decided to start doing treatments on my full arms. Depending on availability, I preferred going to the Naperville office since it was closer to me, but I sometimes had to go to Crest Hill because the nurses rotate and Dr. Kelleher has to be in the office for this type of procedure. Crest Hill is where my issues started. On my first or second session back after not going for a while, I ended up at Crest Hill due to scheduling availability. Since I work full time and don't feel comfortable taking off of work, I always try to schedule my appointments on the weekends so I'm not interfering, and on top of that, I like to schedule them in the morning so I have the rest of the day ahead of me and so that I'll be one of the first people in. I had an 8:00 am appointment for my laser hair during the winter and I got there early. The website says they open at 7:00 am so I thought I would be able to go in and wait until my appointment time (mind you, this was before covid) but for some reason the doors were locked. I decided to wait until my appointment time and nobody came to unlock the doors. I tried calling the front desk and no one answered. 30 minutes pass and someone finally opens the door, no apologies, no anything. What's the point of having an early appointment if they won't take you until 30-45 minutes after. The receptionist had a major attitude when I expressed my disappointment but the nurses are always so nice. After that experience I swore to myself that I'd never go back to the Crest Hill location. I've had good sessions in between, but the same thing happened to me a few months ago at the Naperville office. I had another early appointment on a Saturday (probably 8:00 am) again and I never got a call from the parking lot to come inside for my appointment until 45 minutes after. Being irritated at that, for whatever reason the nurse didn't even turn on the laser machine so I had to wait for it to warm up, but it never reached the proper temperature because it was sitting on an air vent or something so I was there for another 30 mins while they tried to trouble shoot. So my procedure which should've taken only 45 mins or an hour tops ended up taking me 2 hours. This seems to be a common theme here, you wait forever for your appointments or they're over booking. Today is what really pushed me over the edge. As I mentioned before, I only schedule my appointments for weekends because I work full time and can't take off, and they don't do laser past 3pm or something. This time due to scheduling and timing, the only time I could get in was on a Friday. This was my first time doing a weekday appointment because they wouldn't be able to see me again until June, but you can't get laser done if you have a tan/sun exposure so I wanted to make sure I got in before then. I was also told that I could pre-numb 1 arm to save some time, so this is the first time I've done that to save more time so I could get back to work quicker. I get to the office 20mins before my appointment so I decided to wait until 7:45 to call in to let them know I was in the parking lot waiting room. The phone rang and rang and rang until a woman (the only other woman in the parking lot) came up to my window and told me THEY WERE CLOSED. I couldn't believe it. Google says they're open at 7:00 am but apparently Dr. Kelleher works at the Crest Hill office on Fridays so there's no one available to do laser. The woman (really nice, she wasn't a nurse or a scheduler) went inside to check to see and apparently they had me down for June 23rd. I know this wasn't correct because the whole reason I decided to come on a weekday was to get an April appointment so I didn't have to go in June. What I think happened was when I was scheduling my next appointment, the woman was looking at June and accidentally placed me there instead of April even though we both verbally said APRIL and I put it in my calendar. The woman who was trying to help me took my number and had someone at Crest Hill call me to see if they could take me today, but of course they were full. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal if I didn't pre-numb. If you didn't know already a 2oz container of numbing cream is ~$80 so I just wasted a decent portion to only have to wipe it off. The place is a joke I called the clinic to speak to a nurse for 2 days just trying to schedule my son for a follow up procedure. I left several voicemails to the nurse but no one have the decency to call me back. Each time I talked to some receptionist I had to explain the reason why I needed to talk to the nurse. Then straight to VM. Then I had the privileged to speak to some lady who's the scheduler for the Dr. who's absolutely rude. That made me feel I wasting her time while I was trying to explain to her the urgency of my son's situation and why I wanted to get the procedure done sooner. I can sense no compassion on her voice and literally sound irritated. I wanted to get this procedure done by the actual doctor but then again someone in that clinic told me that because the doctor is always busy the nurse will have to do it. I am desperate to get this issue resolve as I dont like seeing blood. The Dr. was nice according to my husband but not really someone I would recommend for children. Reason why I went to this place to begin with is because the Dr himself has a stellar review on health grade.com and went to schedule him based on that. I do not understand the bad reviews. I have been seeing Dr. Bezanis for a long time. He is knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to deal with. He has even taken the time to call me at home and ask me how I was doing over an issue I had that was challenging. We live 45 mins from Naperville and still choose to see Dr. Bezanis over finding another dermatologist close by. Everyone in the front office and insurance has always been pleasant and accommodating. The only draw back is sometimes it is tough to get a timely appointment with Dr. Bezanis and that is because of his busy schedule. read more

My appointment was today at 11 AM, and I showed up at 11:02 AM. I was unable to register before my appointment and by the time the front desk associate asked the doctor, I could not be seen because it would be passed the doctors 15 minute grace period. This appointment was located 25 minutes from my home, and was for my 19 month old daughter. There was no grace in allowing me to do the registration while we waited, or while my daughter was being seen because those were not her rules. Registration was only sent to me on Monday, not everyday leading up to the appointment, which I would expect in how this office prioritizes it. Only option provided to me was an appointment next day, and when I asked to do the registration then, I was told no because it had to be done same day as the appointment, which now makes no sense since I got a link to do it on Monday, and not Wednesday the day of my appointment. Even though this doctor was recommended to me by my pediatric doctor, I will never go back. This doctors "Rules" are outrageous, and others think so too based on these yelp reviews. read more

I had a very bad experience with my provider at Premier Dermatology. Besides waiting one and one-half hours for my appointment, the diagnosis that was made was wrong. I had to go see another dermatologist at a different office. The Dr. at Premier Dermatology refused to remove some moles I had, she said it would "hurt me." The Dr. at the second office removed my moles, it did not hurt. So my visit to Premier Dermatology (where I received no treatment was covered by my insurance,) but my visit with the 2nd dermatologist (where I received the correct diagnosis and treatment) was not covered because I had already seen Premier Dermatology (where I received no treatment nor a correct diagnosis.) Premier Dermatology ended up costing me a lot of money in the end for no treatment. read more

If you can only hear the tone in my voice right now as I'm speaking this into my phone... I am beyond disappointed by this company and team that I would never ever refer anybody to them ever. This is crazy I don't even know where to start... I made an appointment over the phone and with everything going on they said they are offering video chat conference instead of having to come into the office which I thought was cool and made my appointment for 8am on a Tuesday morning and the receptionist told me the latest that Madeline Abrams would call is 8:15am. I was so excited and I couldn't wait. Come Tuesday morning it's 8am no call, 8:05, no call, 8:30 no call I'm wonder what's going on so confused because I was so excited and ready and I was not expecting this. I call the office and the girl tells me that I canceled my appointment and would I like to reschedule... in my head you can only imagine everything I'm saying but trying to maintain a cool and be nice. Ok I said let's reschedule then... she goes how about 10am I said sure. At this point I didn't even want the appointment anymore nor did I want to continue. Whatever came the time and I got my video call from Ms Abrams, our conversation was very pleasant and she seemed very nice and made me almost feel better about what had happened and almost let me look past it. Then as we are about to disconnect she says someone from the front will call me to schedule my follow up and to see how everything is blah blah blah. Till this day I have not received a call from anyone but ok thanks guys.( I really didn't have my hope too high anyways after what you originally pulled ) I get home today to see my mail and it's a letter from them here I am thinking they are following up seeing how I am lmfao!!!! Who was I kidding they sent me a bill of $88.46.... I was told a video televisit is $135 which I paid before they even called me. Now just to get home and find a bill. came here for my horrible acne, went through like three different antibiotics that didnt work well and eventually made me extremely sick, one nurse was kinda condescending and asking me if i was taking it properly with food and at the right times and with probiotics like i was stupid but i think she got that i knew how antibiotics work and that it was actually making me sick (because i was on it for too long duh). but other than that its been great, madeline abrams and the people at the front desk are very kind and understanding, the appointments are nice and quick. i started taking accutane and its made my acne mostly go away for the first time in like 8 years. unfortunately i had to leave the practice bc i moved but it was a great first dermatologist experience :) read more

I have been a patient here for years. The only thing that keeps me coming back is the good care I receive from Dr. Bezanis. Everything else about this practice is horrible. From the "I couldn't care less" reception staff to the poor follow through from nurses, there is nothing positive about the patient experience. If you go expect a 45 min + wait, if you're lucky. And no matter how backed up the patients are, they always tell you he's "right on schedule" when you ask. Today during my typically long wait I overheard the desk staff scheming how to get out of working Saturdays, complaining about their pay, and joking about how the doctors never read the patient chart notes. My family has been coming here for years, and wanting a first time skin check-up along with some other questions answered, I booked an appointment. My family has always used Dr. Reddy, but Dr. Reddy could no longer accept new patients so by chance, I was scheduled to see Dr. Bezanis. My first appointment with him went very well. I found him pretty thorough, friendly, even slightly funny - he gave me a full exam and answered all of my questions that I had at the time. His nurse assistant also came across as very good, and everything I told her of concern she did put into the notes. The lobby waits can be on the longer side, and this place always seems crowded. I am scheduled to see Dr. Bezanis again in December for a follow-up, and based on my first consult I would recommend him if you are looking for another skin or skin-related type doctor. read more

STAY AWAY!! My daughter had painful, itchy skin rashes in several areas for over six months while on campus. She also has two painless, colorless lumps on her leg that are causing concern as they've been there for months with no apparent reason as to their appearance. We'd already taken measures to address her rash concerns with another dermatologist and an allergist and had done the "wait and see" method with the lumps on her leg. Having suffered through erythema nodosum in 2016, which is extremely painful, you can understand her fear that these symptoms might possibly be a sign of its return and why she would bring issues like this to the attention of a doctor. When I called to schedule the appointment, I explained that my daughter's history with the rashes and lumps. I specifically asked if there was a physician who would take the time to actually LISTEN to her and help her figure out why the treatments she's received so far have been unsuccessful. I was assured that Dr. Nubauer was that person. My daughter and I wrote out a long list of her related doctor visits, her symptoms, and what she has tried to do to combat the problems. This list dated all the way back to her erythema nodosum diagnosis in 2016. In the exam room, she gave the nurse a brief background on what's been going on, believing she would have the opportunity to fully explain it to the doctor himself. But when the doctor arrived, he took one look at her eyelids then, neither asking her any questions nor giving her any time to explain, said, "Yeah, I guess it's something. Just put Vaseline on it every day." Had he taken even one minute to ask her about her history with the problems or let her explain ANYTHING AT ALL he would have already known that she had been doing that every night for a solid six months with no improvement. When she responded that she'd been using Vaseline, he said, "Ok. Then use hydrocortisone." She asked about the other rashes and was told, "It's all the same thing." His equally flippant diagnosis after taking two seconds to look at the lumps on her leg was, "You know what erythema nodosum is like so you know that's not it. Bone bruises take a long time to go away." However, one lump is not located near the shin bone, but off to the side so we're not sure how that one could be called a bone bruise. After only a few minutes of him saying, "use Vaseline," "use hydrocortisone," "don't use lotions with fragrance," and, "it's just a bruise," he turned his FULL attention to the fact that she attended the same university as his son, then proceeded to use THE REST OF THE APPOINTMENT TIME to talk about how his son is studying CS and Stats there and what his experience has been like. During this, my daughter was polite but tried several times to turn the conversation back to her symptoms but all he seemed to care about was talking about how cool his son is. He never even took the time to explain to her HOW to use the hydrocortisone cream on her eyelids or what to do about the lumps on her leg. It was only after he left that the nurse gave her some instruction on how to actually use the ointment on her skin. There was ZERO instruction for the lumps on her leg. I received several texts from my daughter immediately after, one of which stated: "... It was so fast. It seemed like he thought I was wasting his time." Needless to say, I was rather angry considering I had specifically asked for someone who would LISTEN to her. Being out of town, there wasn't much I could help her to do about it, which is why I am writing this review. I'm upset about the fact that my daughter completely wasted her time driving to PDN and that we will soon be receiving what I'm sure will be a large bill for such a short, disrespectful visit with a doctor who has an arrogant and dismissive bedside manner. After the appointment, out of desperation, we spoke to our ophthalmologist about it and he explained how risky it would be to use the prescribed medication on her eyelids. I'm not questioning the doctor's knowledge nor his ability to diagnose conditions on sight. What I am upset about is his dismissive attitude, his complete lack of willingness to listen to her and the fact that she was trying to get more information but he was more interested in wasting the time we paid for by talking about his son. It's the duty of every doctor to, at the very least, take time to listen to their paying customers and fully inform and explain the problems, possible causes, treatments and follow up care and answer any questions. Patients pay to go to doctors because they're suffering. The very least he could do was listen. read more

Tells you you need a follow up appointment but doesn't schedule it right away. Then refills a prescription even though you didn't have an appointment. But when you need refills it is near impossible to actually talk to sometime. Wouldn't give a few days medicine to us by on vacation without coming in. Uhhhh. We are on vacation. Hopefully my child doesn't have a skin outbreak while on our trip. Seems like their system needs to get their stuff together and be consistent. The only reason I'm giving this three stars and not less is because I do really like the doctor I see, she is very precise and professional and I do want to continue to come see her. My main issue is with the location and the waiting times. Today was my third apt in person over the last 2 months each of which I arrived 15 minute early and each time I was brought back 10-15 minutes after my apt time and then had to wait another 5-10 mins for the doctor to come in. I was scheduled each time during the day on my lunch so this was 30-45 minutes I wasted just waiting outside of how long the actual appointment took. The first time was for an all over skin check to have all of my moles evaluated, the next two times were follow ups to have one of my removed mole areas given steroids. read more

I wish I checked the reviews here before going. Was referred here by primary physician. The front office staff was cold and short, not very welcoming for a new patient. Neither of the nurses or doctor introduced themselves when entering the room. The doctor was in such a hurry didn't even bother answering questions, but rather pointed to his nurse and said she will answer for you. And then just left. The front desk is rude. Nothing worse that them staring at their computer screen and not even looking at you when you are checking in. This is my third visit and I was hoping this had changed. It definitely has not. They need to realize your front desk is the first impression of your business. This front desk is cold and never makes eye contact with you. My appointment was at 8:30, I arrived at 8:20. Finally saw doctor about 9:10 or after. My time is important too. Dr. Reddy is friendly and thorough. read more

Thanks to Madeline Abrams and Liz, I had a great experience at Premier Dermatology. I had a whole typed page of concerns at the start and at the end I had a smile. They patiently handled each item with a treatment on the spot or a referral or recommendation that was easy to follow. I was very nervous and self-conscious going in but that changed quite quickly. Their level of professionalism is what made the difference. I will be back and you should consider going too. Stop living with skin conditions that erode your self esteem. I have a very low dose of Propecia, prevents hair loss.. nothing sinister but they never add refills on it and instead make me jump through hoops literally every single time.. this time I called my pharmacy they contacted Premier Dermatology for a refill approval (this never goes smoothly) I'm waiting, on the third day I call and they tell me they are closed and wouldn't be back for several days.. they ignored my refill request, didn't alert anyone they'd be gone for a week, left without refilling my prescription and now I'm out.. seriously, WTF! read more
