We had some problems with filling (pain-uneven-reoccurring sensitivity), but other work was pretty good-- however, WE REFUSED to go back after realizing after repeated and we mean REPEATED occurrences the front desk staff was OVERCHARGING our insurance as well as slipping in miscellaneous charges to our billing. We indirectly ADDRESSED IT numerous times. WE WORK IN HEALTHCARE PEOPLE!!!! We CAUGHT THIS EARLY ON and gave multiple instances outside of our initial realization to avoid repeating this without DIRECTLY accusing them of INSURANCE FRAUD! It was INSURANCE FRAUD! The doctor himself may or may not be COMPLETELY AWARE of CERTAIN front desk staff's actions-- but we can assure you in our personal experience this was NOT a mistake but a pattern of deliberate actions.

I made it through with Dr. Vance and his beautiful nurse. And so my journey began. I had not been to a dentist not even to take someone for an appointment. Y'all I was to scared to cry. Dr. Vance I had never met anyone like him. My appointment was in the afternoon and for him to still be as wonderful as he was still just wonderful. And I can't remember the beautiful caring nurse name. She helped me so much. Y'all I knew this was going to be a long process. If Dr. Vance could see my fear and make me feel at ease for just pics of my rotted out teeth. I remember I was trying to get food and chewing and teeth breaking as I'm eating. Sooo many years of people staring at mumble nasty comments. My family didn't treat me no different. But I tried to distance my self from the staring and this kid I was working at a grocery store and I would hear his song all I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth. I suffered silently and I hated me because I was a coward and I wanted to be brave. But God say peace be still. I found another dentist and got a lot of work done on my teeth. Since I don't have a dental degree, I generally trust what dentists tell me I should do. I ended up in Dr. Cosgrove's office after all this work and immediately wished I had started here. The staff was kind and went out of their way to explain my insurance coverage and costs before I visited. Dr. Cosgrove took the time to explain the risks and benefits of the treatment he suggested. He did most if not all of the work himself, undercharged me for work he performed, and conversed in a very down to earth way with everyone he interacted with. I think I will switch to his practice: I was very impressed.
