My retainer didn't fit quite well so the moment I said I had any discomfort or that I was not happy Dr. Bailey and her staff did all they could to make sure I left there today with a happy new smile. He had placed a tooth that was too big onto the abutment causing severe pain by causing all my bottom teeth to shift like an orthodontic adjustment done too fast. In addition to that I had asked him prior to the implant if it was safe to have an implant at all due to having osteoporosis. he told me it was safe. After the procedure he told me we shouldn't have done the implant because my jawbone was too porous. I reminded him that he told me it was safe after I had told him I had osteoporosis and he said "oh" and looked at the floor. Also, when the second implant was done he left his assistant alone in the room to install the abutment part of the implant and was using an improper wrench causing the tool to slip repeatedly over the head of the metal parts. When he entered the room he told her the wrench she was using was too big. After looking up TX state laws I learned that dental assistants are not permitted to install parts of implants unattended by the dentist.

So I have had quite a bit of dental work here. 4 implants total. I have never experienced…read morerudeness here, in fact they have been very helpful and pleasant. There have been a few hiccups which they have resolved when I spoke with them. I have a really big fear of dental work. When I first started with treatment I had 2 failed crowns that had to have pulled, one of my back teeth was very difficult to get out I think because the root was too long or something. However the attempt to pull that tooth out was very painful and could not seem to be numbed as well as the other side. They finally called in someone to help and it worked, but it was very painful and added to my anxiety. After those implants were complete I had a front tooth break and needed both front teeth replaced. The financial person, Jollee was very helpful I had seen her at my first visit and she worked with my insurance and me to understand everything financially. When moving to my next procedures Jollee had moved "across" the street to their surgical center, so I had spoken with someone else and that experience was not as clear cut as Jollee, when I had my front tooth experience Jollee was back thank goodness and helped me understand my previous quotes and everything financially up to date. She is pleasant, kind and helpful. I also spoke with her about some of my previous experience with anxiety and why and she offered nitrous oxide and it was extremely helpful. It would be helpful to have an after visit summary as most of the time my anxiety is so high I have very little comprehension after the surgeries. My partner was always there thank goodness and they were able to give her my care plan. Dr. Pham was my initial dentist and now is Dr. Das, all the dentist/ surgeons have been helpful and kind. The environment is very clean and pleasant. I do recommend Clear Lake Dental. A lot of concerns can be alleviated by asking questions until everyone is clear on the expected outcome. If they offer a dental plan outside of your budget say no, and see if there is a less expensive plan. I did not give a 5 star because right now I have been waiting over a week for confirmation about a balance due. I don't want to get a text about a balance due without reviewing a statement. So hopefully they will send via email as I have asked via text and email.

The…read morefirst visit was an emergency visit as I bit down too hard during the night and chipped off a part of my back teeth! He quickly scheduled a visit for that day and took a look at it. He diagnosed the problem and filled in the gap it left quickly. It felt weird for awhile, but I'm used to it now. I also go see the hygienist 3-4 times a year now to get my teeth specially cleaned and treated since I do have trouble with my gums and teeth and the extra cleanings help mitigate the damage from genetics and also not going to the dentist for years prior (cause they are way scarier than doctors and anything else, right?!). Now that I go more often, the fear has lessened and my teeth and gums are way healthier - which also makes them hurt less when I go in for my next visit. Funny how that cycle works. The office is super nice and clean. The staff are friendly. They have text and phone call reminders for your upcoming visits. I knew nothing about my insurance or my husband's at all and they were able to look it up for us and let us know what services we qualify for and financial alternatives if we needed. There is a semi-private parking lot so you can almost always find a decent parking place. It's close to Bay Brook mall so you can get some shopping in before or after a visit if you've taken a half day from work or left a little early and don't want to pick up your kids right away. Also close to lots of food and other shopping strip malls if Bay Brook isn't your jam. My dentist works an hour away from where I live but it's worth the drive once you find someone you gel with and are comfortable seeing. And most dentist visits are only twice a year so the drive is worth it, especially in Houston, where anywhere worth going is a drive anyways. I definitely recommend Premier Dental!
