I've used Premier Comfort for over 5 years after using several others. Really nice genuine guys who own this firm. Always fast response, capable, fair, and great prices. Several times they have came out to diagnose HVAC issues with low charges. They have kept my older unit running, and for certain I will use them and give them the business for a replacement system. If you want fair, honest service at a great price, this firm is the best to work with I've experienced. Highly recommended. Brian and John are the guys I have worked with. Always a positive outcome. read more

They installed a new heat pump and air handler five years ago. I've been doing the preventive maintenance with them twice a year since then. I had a minor issue plus I needed to change the condensation pump which I could've done myself. I chose to call them and let them do it. Once the work was completed, the amount was extremely high, but the technician said he could not make changes so I contacted the office the following business day. I left three messages within a 10 day period and I finally got in touch with the technician and discussed it with him. He added a P trap to the pump which he said should have been done when the system was installed and charged me $168. Since they installed the system, that should have been no charge. The condensation pump was high, but he assured me it was a competitive price for installation. I checked around and the bottom line is they charged me $160 more than the highest price I found locally. The invoice showed a $73 customer discount, but it was never subtracted from the total. Bottom line, they charged me $300 too much and no one had the decency to call me back to discuss it. Needless to say, I will not be using them ever again. I will take some responsibility because I should have asked for a quote, but since I've used them for five years and they installed the system, I felt that they were dependable and honest, but I was mistaken. My husband and I are retired and on a fixed income, so we try to be careful with home repairs. When we discovered a leak from our attic air handler on May 26th, Premier Comfort Services responded quickly, which we appreciated. However, we were charged $421 for draining the overflow pan and "clearing the line," even though the technicians did not appear to test the pump or verify the line with any tools or water. We later spoke with their senior technician, Justin, who reviewed the system and told us we would receive a $200 refund due to the initial misdiagnosis--regardless of whether we moved forward with additional work. We only received a quote for a full replacement (not the split unit quote we also requested), and ultimately could not afford the replacement. After several weeks with no refund, we called and were told something completely different--that the $200 would only be a credit toward future services. This contradicted what we were told in person. We may be older, but we are not forgetful. It's disappointing to feel the story changed once we declined a major purchase. We hope to see more transparency and consistency from service providers, especially for retirees on fixed incomes. read more

We had a concern with the water being discharged from our air conditioner coils so we called Scott and asked him to take a look. Scott inspected the air conditioner, showed me what was causing the issue, and said I could do an expensive repair but if it was his house, he would not. He said it would not impact the function nor the life of the air conditioner. What more could you ask of a Heating and Air company! I would highly recommend Scott and his company. read more

A company with practices I would be cautious of. I am sure this company can provide great service supporting many of their reviews. Unfortunately, I had the experience that reflects another customers not so good service. I would like for potential customers to be made aware of what could happen. My father recommended this company to replace my a/c unit. The company quoted me $500 less than my local HVAC guy and could replace my non-working unit with a shorter wait time. I was very pleased with their quick installation and replacement of my upstairs unit. This service was done in November of 2020. The a/c wasn't used much until Spring of 2021. At the beginning of August 2021 (roughly 5 months of a/c usage) I noticed a huge water stain on my ceiling. The carpet was soaked and there was a 10" bubble from which water was dripping. It was from my upstair a/c unit installed in my attic. I immediately turned my unit off. In the attic, there was water puddled on the left side under the wooden platform holding the unit. I questioned the water since the emergency pan was not full. Through further investigation, I noticed water dripping outside the emergency pan directly onto the subfloor from the duct coming out of the left side of the air handler. This is what was causing the water in the room below. I documented everything with pictures and video and contacted Premier Comfort Services the next morning. A technician arrived the following day. He was professional and courteous. He assessed the situation, determined the unit was not charged for summer conditions when it was installed last Fall causing the unit to "back pull". He put refrigerant in the unit and assured me it would not leak anymore. When I asked if their company or Carrier would cover the ceiling damage, he took photos and advised his bosses would determine that. I placed a tube under the leaking duct incase it started leaking again. I received a voicemail from the technician about 30 mins after he left stating he cut the drains outside the house due to mud in them. When I called Premier Comfort Services after not receiving any communication for several days, the lady on the phone advised the damage would not be covered since the drain was clogged causing the pan to overflow. I communicated to the lady the pan had not overflowed as seen in the video I sent. There is a switch in my emergency pan that will shut my unit off if it was close to full which never happened either. I was told the owner would be contacting me to explain. I had not heard from the owner for several days even after leaving a message with them. Eventually he called and explained the emergency pan on the outside was not the overflowing pan. He said the pan on the inside was overflowing causing the unit to leak out of the "plenum" onto the wood and insulation. He said it was my responsibility to have the unit inspected every 6 months to make sure the drain line is not clogged. According to him, his company does not do attic installations where the air handler has to lay down (which is how my unit has to be because of the placement in the attic). I asked why the emergency pan was so small it did not cover this area that could leak. He said the code requirement is that the unit itself has to be covered by the emergency pan. I expressed my concern about the unit and advised this same problem could present itself and damage my house again. He said they were not local so they could not assist but to have a local company inspect the unit every 6 months. We ended the call there. At this point I had no confidence that this company would help with what seemed like a ticking time bomb in my attic, so I called a local company. The technician came the following day and was professional and courteous. He advised the drain coming from the pan inside the unit did not have a "T" on it to allow the line to be flushed. He installed the "T" and said he flushed the line to confirm it was working properly. I asked about my concerns with the same problem and ceiling damage happening in the future. He said they would suggest installing a float switch in the interior pan to kill the power if the interior pan overflows. He also said I could get a larger pan to catch drips outside of the unit. I asked them to do both. My issues with the way Premier Comfort Services handled my situation are as follows: 1. Why was the initial cause of the leaking advised as the unit was not charged for summer, but I was only told of the clogged drain lines by voicemail 30 minutes later after the technician found out there was damage I wanted to claim? 2. The owner advised they do not install air handlers which have to lay down. If that is the case, why did they do it at my house? If that is their policy, it seems they are aware this type of thing could happen. My 15 year old train unit that I had before this never had this type of issue. Why not inform the customer what to look out for if they do have a lay down unit. I only i read more

This company installed a new HVAC unit in my house this past week. I have to say I am truly impressed with the work. The unit was installed quickly and works great. They gave me a fair price and were the most professional out of the several other companies that I had give me a quote. One of the owners was also kind enough to fix my upstairs unit that was installed about two months prior and by a different company. You guys have earned a loyal customer. read more

I'm highly impressed- bypassed my home warranty options due to previous experience and the reviews that people posted for the companies recommended to me. Mike was able to come out same day, I know I got lucky there. The part I needed was on his truck, and they got me signed up to a cleaning/inspection plan that's is 100% worth it's value. With all the pollen and leaves in GA- wow! I'm truly great full I found this company... honest, hard working, friendly people who truly care. read more

Our condenser went out at the beginning of 2015 Summer and we called this company and they were there the next day and fixed the issue, a blown capacitor. Price was exactly what I would expect for the hour they were on site. They were very friendly and knowledgable and additionally checked out the attic unit and freon levels as a courtesy. I would expect no less from any other service, but they did so without asking. So the met my expectations in what an ideal service call would be and on top they were not pushy about other services. read more

Once again I had a great positive experience with Brian from Premier Comfort Loganville. I highly recommend them.

John and Brian quoted us a great deal!! They were quick to get our unit replaced. Great company to work with!

My AC unit waited until the last day of summer to quit working. I'm an avid DIYer, so I did all of the basic checks myself. Then I turned to google to search for more advance troubleshooting. I was able to isolate the problem to the outside unit, but at this point, I had run out of time and patience to get research any further. Fearing that I'd get the most unfavorable diagnosis, I called Premier and spoke to John. Luckily, I was able to get a same day appointment and within a hour of him being here, I had cold air again. Great service and a great price. I'd definitely recommend them. read more
