The entire staff from retail employees to the instructors, owners and boat crew are truly wonderful and experts in regard to diving. They outfitted us with usable gear that suited our needs and wants. My husband was certified without any issues. The final dives of 60' in the open ocean caused me a little anxiety but the staff at Stuart Scuba got me through. Nick B my instructor for the final dives has a fantastic personality, a sense of kindness and calm demeanor which put me at ease so quickly. Yet he has a strong sense of safety making sure I understood the entire process of these open water dives. The Boat Crew of Shannon, Chris, Trister, and Brandon also were extremely wonderful in their encouragement and doing their jobs very professionally. I cannot commend them enough. I was certified yesterday and had the most wonderful experience. I can sincerely recommend Stuart Scuba for all your scuba needs from retail items to learning to dive. They are so so very professional and the entire staff is experienced in diving. They can answer all your diving questions. It was an enjoyable experience for us. We can't wait to get out there again. If you are like me you don't like doing negative reviews, but this is a safety warning…read more Stuart Scuba received mixed reviews from the locals, but I dropped off 8 tanks for hydro/vip along with six first/second stage regs for service. I booked an afternoon dive on their boat. An hour after I left Stuart's shop, I was pre-checking gear, and the first stage atomic titanium was failing by blowing gas out the swivel between the HP/LP sections of the regulator. I swapped the first stages, got on the boat, then I had an ocean reef full face mask fail due to being unable to blow air out the mask due to a stuck valve. Both of these service failures could have been detected if proper post-service testing was performed on the equipment. I demonstrated the problem to the owner's wife so that she could personally examine the titanium first stage failure. She suggested that I return to the shop, but after two regulator failures, the service being careless/reckless...untested... I chose not to let Stuart Scuba re-service the gear. The shop owner and I later traded a couple of emails. He blamed the problems on me. Read off his list of credentials etc. I was surprised. No questions, just defensive behavior. I will have to get the regulators re-serviced. I paid the shop owners $861 for service, offered them the opportunity to refund the regulator service, they chose not to. I got eight cylinders filled in the shop. The first one I tested was at 38% and marked at 32%. I had the shop analyze the mix on their analyzer, 37.7%. I pointed out the ask and label was for 32%, the mix was 38%, and they I got a lecture about MOD, what the boat's afternoon dive depth was... The correct response should have been, "we made a mistake, let's get these cylinders checked and correctly marked." (watch for cold fills at the shop also). My wife and I moved to Florida five years ago. I've been diving South of Jupiter/Tampa areas out to the keys routinely now. The diving is great, divers are great, and there are plenty of solid shops and operations. I don't recommend Stuart Scuba LLC. There appears to be a safety/culture/ego issue at this shop, so I recommend that potential customers consider other.

Huge thanks to Captain Erinn for helping coordinate everything--it was all seamless. And Captain Fernando and Christian took amazing care of us on the water. They were friendly, professional, and made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. The boat itself is absolutely stunning--brand new, super clean, and easily one of the nicest in the area. Perfect setup whether you're going with a small group or a larger party. And the sunset... just incredible. It really made the whole experience special. Overall, such a well-run operation with great people. Would 100% do this again!

We were able to catch 3 decent sized snapper that we kept. The crew were marking the fish so that everyone would be able to claim their fish at the end of the trip. When we got to the dock, there was no kind of order to be able to retrieve our fish. The staff of the boat put all of the fish out to take pictures (I guess for promotional purposes/advertising). But then, people started taking fish. By the time I could ask for our fish, they had been given away. All we were told was "sorry". Needless to say, we were not happy about the experience.

The pontoon boat itself was clean, obviously well-maintained, and the seats were luxuriously comfortable. The tour started by traveling north from Stuart, through the widest part of the St Lucie River. Capt Bill pointed out many points of interest on the shore and had tales to tell about some of the ships. As we neared Port St Lucie, the river narrowed and the scenery changed dramatically to gorgeous mangroves and still waters. Captain was quick to point out and talk about the variety of birds and trees and plants we were witnessing. He was also loaded with stories about the architecture and the people who owned it. It was a 2 hour tour, and it ended far too soon. This trip was the very best part of our week in Florida. And all for less than $100 per person. You can not go wrong. This is a touring company that focuses perfectly on friendly, individualized attention to providing for the customer. A+ experience.

My brother, sister-in-law and I went to…read morerent kayaks, and while we arrived a few minutes before the official opening time, the gentleman who opened the store was quite rude and preferred to spend the time taking out his bikes than speaking to us. When he did actually entertain our questions, he was dismissive and referred us elsewhere, as he did to other customers who were in the store. While only having an hour to squeeze in an activity, we decided to opt for biking, only to be told that there were full day rentals and no other option. This was after waiting an additional ten minutes while he entertained other customers who clearly were "just looking around." Maybe this guy was tired or grumpy, but this experience was a huge letdown.
