Usually it's good but this last time I was really unsatisfied with this last barber. I got home and noticed some cuts on my lip and I remembered that he rested his pinky by my lip and I think it wasn't filed down so it cut me. Then my hair didn't seem on point. Usually when I go I'm satisfied with the end result but this time not so much so it felt like I got ripped off when the asking price is higher than with the other barbers there that give me a decent cut. My first time visiting this place. My husband usually cuts our son's hair, but this time he wanted to try this place out. Arrived on time for his appointment and was greeted by a friendly barber. I asked for Paul and was surprised to find out that they have 3 Paul's! (Popular name?) when I found the right Paul (Gonzalez ). I was glad to know that he was ready to start. I showed him 2 pictures of some hair styles my son had seen and wanted to combine. Paul was up for the challenge and made it sound like it was nothing #confidence I sat next to his station and we chatted for a bid. They have a small but cool sitting area (picture included). Thirty minutes later he was done and my son was happy as heck that it was exactly what he wanted! Paul instructed him on what he needed to do in order to get the same look. What's really convenient about this place is that they handle all of their business with appointments on the booksy app, so you never have to worry about waiting hours to get a hair cut or have an appointment and a walk in steals your time. That Subia fool is the most disrespectful barber I've ever seen, anywhere. That includes the hood and nicer areas. Is he decent enough at cutting? I guess. But, he will scream right in your ear while making jokes with his fellow barbers. That's fine if you want to have fun with your friends/coworkers, just don't scream right in my ear and have it so that your spit hits my cheek while you do so. Dude mean mugs and has mad attitude too. Which given his age and smaller stature, didn't phase me, but it was nonetheless not cool. No one is intimidated by you, dude. That stated, I can't speak to the rest of the barbers as a lot of them were cool toward me (e.g., greeting me, etc.). So, if they are chill dudes, they need to sit this guy down and remind him that all it takes is treating one client disrespectfully to tarnish a reputation. read more

I'm not from here so I had to find a new barber. I visited Crimson for my first hair cut and it was an "okay" cut. I had considered going back but when I called in to ask if the man who had cut my hair was available, the desk staff was so rude. I decide to go elsewhere. Again, I'm not from here, so I opened my Maps App and searched for barbers nearby. I found this parlor called Premier. Immediately from the name, I know that there would be a young urban staff available. Sure enough I was right. I gave them a call to see if they had any chairs open and the guy I talked to was very respectful and informative. I was sold. He told me, if I could get there soon, I'd have a spot. I arrived at the barber parlor and the guy that was set to cut my hair was on his way back from the store. I waited a few minutes and watched the game they had playing on TV. Soon after, he arrived (I waited no more than 5 minutes so it was no big deal) he was very proactive in acknowledging my presence and invited me to his chair. One thing I noticed was that everyone in the barber shop had really sharp lineups and that was the best part. I knew that when I got up from the chair I would look like them and surely I did! Based on my barber, Subia alone. I can tell that These gentleman take great pride in their craft and I am happy that I found a place to call my BarberShop. Extremely unprofessional place. Rude and obnoxious atmosphere. Unrefined. Terrible communication. Felt like a bunch of stoned immature kids just hanging out and trying to act macho and not actually trying to run a professional business. If you have self-respect then avoid this place. The guy was more interested in watching a super violent and profanity-filled movie which was playing very loud on the TV and joking with other barbers, than paying attention to what he was doing. Made zero effort to speak to me or check in with me or show me the progress in the mirror until I finally interrupted his super important hang-out session with his bros to ask him directly to show me. Completely disrespectful and unprofessional. I stopped the haircut and walked out. Maybe I expect too much but I think a barber should be focused on his client not a movie while he's cutting your hair. This ain't your backyard "bro"-The whole place felt juvenile and immature. If you're a professional self-respecting grown-ass man downtown then I recommend you find another place for a hair cut. What a joke. I was looking for a barber to cut my hair after work and this place was 10 minutes away from closing. I called to make sure that was correct because I had already went to one barber that had the wrong hours posted. Gordo picked up and told me he was about to close but that he would wait for me to get there. Sure enough he waited for me and even gave me a first time deal on my cut. He had cleaned and was completely ready to close but he still squeezed me in so I definitely recommend this guy. Give him a try and he will leave you fresh AF! read more

I needed to get a haircut, it was late in the day about 5 PM, and I went into Premier Barber parlor. Jonathan offered to do my haircut and did an excellent job. It was my first time there, so he asked me exactly how I normally get my hair cut, and what I wanted done on this trip. He explained what he was doing every step of the way. He was very friendly and professional. And overall it was a great experience. Proficiently ran barber shop, best I've been to EVER. Most barber shops I've been to don't give a sense of gratitude towards all clients, this isn't the case at Premier. EVERY barber is welcoming to you whether you are their client or not. Booking practices in place are efficient, at ease/convenience to the client, and never problematic in any way. PABLO is my barber and is a highly talented barber, I always feel great and confident leaving his chair-- and throughout the week receive many compliments and inquiries on who my barber is. My boyfriend had booked an appointment here with Subia. He gets off work at 6 so as he's on his way to the appointment he realizes that Subia had texted him that he couldn't do the 6:35 appointment and asked him if he could arrive earlier to the appointment because it was his child's birthday. Obviously he wouldn't be able to make it by then given the timing of the notice. So rather than canceling the appointment he attempts to reschedule it in the least convenient time for the next day. My boyfriend was less than 10 minutes late and he refused to cut his hair. Even after he did him the favor of rescheduling the appointment for the next day so that he could spend time with his son on his birthday. It was unprofessional of him and to make things worse he charged him even after he failed to do his job. He rudely tries to justify it by saying it's in the policy but he's wrong because he never mentioned that over the phone. He is the one that booked the appointment on his booksy not my boyfriend so the policy doesn't count. I'd give this zero stars if I could. AWFUL SERVICE. read more
