Annick is wonderful at her job. She is kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and incredibly capable. I was (frankly) worried about Telehealth pelvic floor therapy because it's such a personal process and personal space. Annick, however, seamlessly translated her vast knowledge of the body into understandable little "nuggets" and phrases so that I could do the exercises with her. I was consistently surprised that she could tell over the web app whether or not I was contracting/releasing the correct muscle groups, but she's always figured it out and would describe it to me so I could understand. If she could tell I didn't quite get something, she would pivot and find a new way to describe it so I could succeed. Her communication is unparalleled. This was such an emotional journey for me, and Annick was always right there, however I needed her. I can show up now, in a real way, to workouts far harder than those I was doing pre-pregnancy. She gave me the tools to both push myself, and give myself breaks where I need them. I'm stronger than I've ever been (upper body strength courtesy of carrying around a 15lb kettlebell of a baby, lower body strength courtesy of my faith in my pelvic floor), and I'm confident in doing jumping jacks, going for runs, and even taking on jump squats after a grueling spin ride. Annick gives wonderful, bite-sized exercise/homework plans that lead to real results. Thanks to her, I am in touch with my body in a way where I don't fear it, but where I work with it to reach my next achievement. No sitting on the sidelines for this mama!!
