I had an incredibly wonderful pregnancy and I owe most of it to Stacy, her acupuncture treatments and knowledge about supplements and nutrition. She helped treat my heartburn and poor sleep. I stayed healthy throughout my entire pregnancy and never felt like I was dragging. My energy stayed high, my spirits good. I felt great! I didn't suffer from the typical pregnancy woes and I truly believe it was due to Stacy's treatments. At one point, I had to skip a couple weeks of treatments and I really felt a difference. My ankles swelled up, my heartburn came back and I did not sleep well at all. What a miracle! When I went post-dates, I knew I wanted to induce. I went to Stacy and she did some gentle induction points and voila - baby was born the next day! Stacy has been wonderful for my postpartum care. She came to our home for a home-visit a few days after our baby was born. Her treatments helped me so much during that sensitive time. I started seeing Jennifer about one month after suffering a severe herniated disc in my lumbar…read morespine. I forwent surgical options because I was hopeful my body could repair itself. Sure enough, with the help of Jennifer, it did. After a few weeks of steady treatment, my health improved by leaps and bounds. I've gone from crawling to the bathroom and taking short, painful showers to living my full life again. Now, with my back feeling better, I continue my visits for preventative maintenance. I have a traumatic history with needles (nausea, fainting), so Jennifer slowly worked up from conservative treatments to more aggressive treatments. Within the first few minutes of my first visit, this fear became a non-issue. The needles (more like filaments) are painless, and more often than not I would fall asleep shortly into the session. At the start of the appointment I asked her if it would be possible to include Reiki in our session. Thankfully she was able to accommodate. First of all, the acupuncture itself was very pleasant and not painful (I just assumed it would be). She placed the needles in places that are known to enhance overall wellness as well as my scalp (still dealing with postpartum hair loss). Once all the needles were placed she stared on the reiki and I could feel it instantly. If you have never had reiki and are curious, I highly recommend it. Overall, I had such a great experience with Kristen. She was very accommodating with my appointment time and fit me in day of. Mariko was able to assist my recovery in a speedy way and did small tweaks that helped. Such as when I said my left eye wasn't closing at night to sleep. The next day my eye closed enough that I didn't need to tape it shut! I also have stomach issues that she was able to pinpoint and I felt immediately better. Mariko also gave me herbs to address these issues. I am continuing my treatment here as my Bell's Palsy issues reverse and I'm discovering many other ways she can help my health!
