Another update with 5 stars, again!…read more This complex was built in the early seventies, and although the condo I rent came with major upgrades when I moved in almost five years ago, things still happen. For a while, the upper panel on the white Maytag over-the-stove microwave kept falling off, and I kept reattaching it. Then the day came when I could no longer reattach it. I logged a support request. Soon, Fernando Vazques texted me, asking for the microwave's serial number. I took photos and texted them back to him, and in the process, I learned that the appliance's manufacturing date was January 2004. So it was over two decades old, but it still worked great if not for the panel falling off. I thought they would order a replacement part for that panel. However, it turned out that it would be cheaper to replace the whole microwave. Fernando kept me updated on the approval progress, the order from Lowe's, and the delivery. Once two guys from Lowe's delivered the microwave, Fernando coordinated the installation. One guy from Intempus came, installed the new microwave, and removed the old one; everything would have been ok if not for a large area of paint that peeled off the wall beneath the microwave. I sent pictures to Fernando. Several days later, David, a tech, arrived to fix the paint issue. I brought out all the cans of paint I keep in the outside storage shed that I found here upon move-in. However, none of that paint matched the color on the kitchen wall. So David went to a paint store and used their paint color matching machine (I hadn't even heard of such a tool before!) to find the exact match. He returned from the store and did a super careful job achieving the orange peel effect on the wall. He also went around the unit, noticed things, fixed them, and responded to my reports of minor annoyances. For example, he reinserted the large patio screen back into its railing, fixing the railing so that the screen wouldn't fall off again. He also gave me good advice on keeping the place in good shape and admired the many plants I keep outside my unit, which warmed my heart. There was definitely a silver lining to how protracted the microwave replacement turned out to be, in that David fixed things I didn't even bother reporting. I definitely felt I was in good hands with Fernando and David responding to my service request, and I know that if anything else needs fixing in the future, I will be in their good hands again.

I reached out to the property management team and I was really impressed with how quickly they handled my work order. They called in a plumber who found the toilets were older and the tanks have equipment that was corroding. They quickly got in touch with the homeowner and we had replacement toilets approved without any hassle or delay. I do my best to take good care of the property, but things happen, and it's reassuring to know the management team is responsive, maintenance issues seriously. I'd like to personally thank Manuel Gonzalez for his continued follow up with my work order

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! Where do I begin.... I lived in the unit for 2 years…read more.. 1. The day I was supposed to get the keys Brian was going to meet us a tthe unit at 2pm... he's not answering the phone, emails, nothing. Come 4pm hes STILL not answering the phone. At this point im thinking I just gave this guy a $700 deposit, copy of my ID, social security card, check stubs and now he's not going to give me the keys? Did he leave town? Not to mention I had all of my stuff in a truck waiting to move in... At 5pm my husband was so upset he drove down to his office in Los Gatos (after calling his answering service located in a different state they gave us his local address) and confronted Brian. He had nothing to say... NO REASON WHY HE WASNT ANSWERING OUR CALLS! We should have taken this as a sign and NOT moved in... 2. HE NEVER DID A WALK THROUGH! Stove didnt work (it took them over a year to fix the stove) Since it was dark by the time we moved in we had to find the breaker for the lights- NO HELP FROM THE LAND LORD! Anytime we had a problem we could NEVER get ahold of anyone. One time we were out of power for almost 2 days! The city of Santa Clara came out to look at our breaker and they said it was the property owners responsibility... after Brian sent the GARDENER out to look at the problem (which solved nothing) we were still with out power... its now 430pm on a Friday.. Luckily the Santa Clara power technician came back out (after he got off work!) and fixed it for us... he told us he felt that bad for us! 3. Our heater didnt work for the first year... Isnt it the law to provide a working heater?? Another women moved in to the unit behind us and her heater didnt work either she was told by Brian "Use this portable wall heater." She suied and won... not surprised. To sum things up this was the worst rental experience. I can not believe they call themselves a "business." Most unprofessional group of people. I hope this will help you make a desision on whether or not you rent from them. I caution you to look for alternative options because I would have rather lived ANYWHERE else than rent from this company.

So I reach out to the number provided during the booking of the showing, no response. So now it has been almost 2 weeks since we submitted our applications and nada. I decided to reach out today and ask again. Below is the text message I received, even after giving my name preemptively, they still asked. Ironically it wasn't denied until I reached out, and they sent me a denial letter for an address I didn't even apply to. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUISNESS TO ANYONE TRYING TO RENT A PROPERTY, they are literally just after the application fees and won't tell you they won't approve your application until after they deny you and won't refund your fees per their "policy"

They will always go beyond what's needed when things go south. For example I've had really bad luck of having 3 water heaters go bad on me in the first 6 years of rental and each time David and his team managed to sort it out with the plumber and supplier of the unit without having me involved. Furthermore, David's team performed inspections as requested to ensure property is in good shape. I truly enjoy the working relationship and professionalism of his company. Thank you!

He's very unprofessional, was always cut and dry and never even took the time to meet us. I don't understand why landlords give him their business. When we vacated the property he deducted $160 for leaving a brand new box of ice cream bars and an unopened bottle of soda in the refrigerator. He also deducted another $630 for a cleaning and an additional $25 for "air fresheners" bc he claimed the home smelled like dogs even though we paid $300 extra each month in our rent to account for the dogs. We had the place sanitized before we left and btw, the new tenants loved our dogs and were excited that we had dogs bc they did as well. These deductions were total BS and just went into his pockets. I highly suggest staying away from NorCal Property Management in San Jose. If you're a landlord, do you want the headaches that come with this guy? See the receipt attached for "air fresheners." Do yourself a favor and hire a different property manager or you may get sued.
