Well when attempting to reach them to utilize the free night there was no answer, go figure, so he left a message. Never did get a call back! And they're supposed to be open 24/7?! And they apparently don't return calls. I would think twice about this place. You may be forgotten too. The only positive thing that came out of this was they did refund us. But that should have been done with question anyway.

Thanks to the yelpers, I found Motor City Limo and called them 3 months prior to the trip to book the transfer to/ from the airport / hotel. A few days prior to the trip I get a confirmation email, and then on the day of the trip I get an email reminding me of my pick up. The only down part is, if you don't have access to email, you would not get this reminder. As I landed I got an email telling me my driver was on the way and a photo of Anton. Then I got a text message telling me he's at the Coffee Bean with an iPad sign. Total communication .. love it! He was so easy to find, and we had no communication problem. Anton was a great driver and guide. Our SUV was warm and he even gave us bottled water to sip on. Chatty but not overly chatty, and gave us tips on what to do in Detroit. I asked Motor City to allow me to tip the driver with cash, and I gave Anton a very generous tip for a job well done. On the day of our return we had "GG" and she was excellent as well. Bright and early at 7 am on as Sunday, she was chipper and friendly. She grew up in Detroit and told us how things have changed in the new Detroit revival. Just like our arrival, Motor City gave me plenty of confirmations and notifications, so I did not stress if my reservation would be there or not. It was a beautiful Sunday, September 13th, 2026 when we booked a cruise on the Huron Lady II. What a perfect outing it was. You had to get there early to get on the top deck but we were grateful to be on the bottom deck. I didn't care because as soon as we could roam around I went out on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful gentle wind and sunshine. The boat doesn't go too fast but it also isn't a slow boat either. The Captain tells you all kinds of interesting facts about Canada and the USA as you cruise 45 minutes south on the St. Clair River, then 45 minutes North where they take you briefly into Lake Port Huron...boy do you know the difference, once you hit that mammoth lake! The ride was smooth and very enjoyable. The seats were comfortable and there is plenty of space to roam around, even in a fully loaded boat such as was our experience. The boat was very clean. I used the restroom and it too was spacious enough and very clean. The crew was pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. I took this cruise several years back and it was called the Huron Lady, it was a different boat and it was docked closer to town. So, if you have taken this cruise before and it has been 6 or so years since you took it be aware that the location has changed.
