I strongly advise against getting Invisalign at Instyle Smiles. Do not let them pressure you into this treatment and please go to an orthodontist who specializes in it.
Here are the issues I've faced:
- You will never see Dr. Carroll. You will only interact with the staff, who merely ask how things are going and give you your next sets.
- They never check if your teeth are moving correctly. When I asked about my progress, they couldn't compare because they lost my original scan. Instead, they used a tray meant for placing buttons.
- The staff who placed buttons on my teeth forgot one crucial button meant to help rotate my teeth. It wasn't until two months later, after I pointed out that the app showed I should have one, that they acknowledged the mistake. The staff member spent 30 minutes denying the error instead of consulting Dr. Carroll immediately.
I'm extremely disappointed and regret getting Invisalign here. Now I've lost my orthodontic benefits. An orthodontist would have handled my case much better.
Additionally, Tiana had the audacity to text me at 7:12 AM about "regarding my account." If there's an issue, she should've been straightforward and resolve it directly. Instead, she merely instructed me to contact the office. This should have been resolved last year, and now I'm stuck with a balance on top of my upcoming surgery next week. Additionally, the manager is never available.
I don't know what's going on with this clinic, but they've definitely gone downhill. I hope you never experience problems here, as it will be a nightmare to deal with.

I've been a patient of Dr. Carroll's for over five years, and my experiences have generally been positive. However, my recent interactions with Hannah over the phone have been unsatisfying. On three separate occasions (in the past month or two), I found her lack of assistance frustrating.
During my inquiries about my Invisalign treatment, Hannah provided one-worded, unhelpful responses, leaving me feeling unheard and frustrated. When I expressed concerns and asked about my options, her reply was simply, "you have to talk to the doctor," without further explanation. I've had to follow-up every answer with more questions such as, "When will the doctor be back?", "Can you ask him and let me know what my options are?", and "Can you give me a call with what he says?" Well, she never called me back. After 3 weeks, I finally decided to stop Invisalign treatments and get my buttons removed.
Even during my appointment scheduling, there was confusion regarding the timing and procedures. When I called to confirm my appointment, I received conflicting information about the schedule, with Hannah interrupting me and providing vague answers that did little to address my concerns.
Despite my efforts to seek clarification, I encountered a lack of responsiveness and professionalism. Unfortunately, my attempts to escalate the issue to a manager were hindered since she's on vacation.
While I've appreciated the quality of care provided by Dr. Carroll, these recent experiences over the phone have left me feeling frustrated and uncertain about continuing my treatment with this practice.
