I myself have had a branch scrape my eye before, and I was able to have him check it out with my mom at 10 pm. Or sometimes they will get us in at last minute during the day if we need it. So he really cares about the people who come in. The office itself is a stand alone one and looks warm and inviting. I've worn glasses and contact lenses for 25+ years (I'm not old just worn glasses since elementary school...lol). When I called for an appt the staff I spoke with was friendly and quick to get me a spot that fit my schedule. I like that Dr. McBride sees patients later in the evening (I had a 5:30pm appt). I was seen promptly at my appt time and the staff is very organized. Dr. McBride was very courteous and formal (rather old school), he has a quiet bedside manner but he got my prescription dead on! Based on my ins. (VSP) his prices are extremely reasonable! For what I paid in Calif. just for glasses I got glasses AND 6 months of contacts (I didn't get generic frames either...designer name brand). He has a great selection of frames for men, women and children. I'm very happy I found Dr. McBride and have already recommended him to several people!

Memory at Visionworks was like an old friend and told me what looked good & what didn't. I need petite wear and she zoned right in on what would work. The glasses fit well & the progressive lens is much better than my last lens which were made by a pricey optometrist shop. They were also much more affordable than the optometrist office frames.
