They all seemed were very professional and interested in giving you the best care possible It was after that things changed. It seemed the individuals that answered the phone were uninterested and curt. The only doctor I saw, except for surgery, was Dr Carrie. You could tell she said pretty much the same thing to everyone and often spoke over you. She never mentioned how my eyes were doing any of the three times I was there. She gave me a sample of eye drops and pretty much sent me on my way. My last visit with her, do to some issues I was having, was unpleasant. The next day, when calling as instructed by billing, was unbelievably unprofessional and down right nasty!!! On the previous day's visit Karen spoke to me about my Insurance. It appeared the billing department needed me to call my Insurance company and get the billing straightened out. I did as they asked and spoke to a wonderful agent who went above and beyond to help me which included calling the Doctor's office with answers for Karen. VERY UNFORTUNATELY Karen was not there. The agent (we were on a 3 way call) asked if someone else could help us. We were told that Tonya could help and were transferred. The phone rang to her office about 15 times before the Insurance agent hung up and called again. This time after 4-5 rings Tonya picked up or rather we assumed it was Tonya. There was no greeting whatsoever. When my agent tried to explain why we were calling she was abruptly cut off. Tonya took the time, angrily, to tell us she was short staffed by 9 people and didn't have time for us! She then proceeded to tell us, why I don't know, that she has been in billing for 30 years, again, very rudely and angrily. She, rather than give us the minute it would take to hear my agent, proceeded to tell us again the she just wanted a reference number which she previously shouted several times. This time, however, she shouted that if we did not give her the reference number she would hang up and DID!!! My agent, myself and my husband who could hear her shouting were stunned. We would gladly have called back another time or let her call us if we could get in a word about the call. I have never been treated so unprofessionally and shabbily in my the life. We were rudely dismissed and shouted at over and over. Her angry attitude towards my agent and myself was unfounded and unnecessary. Instead of repeating herself about a reference number and not having time to help us she could easily have heard our reason for the call and then responded accordingly. My agent, who was still on the line, could not understand what just happened or why. We were only calling, as asked to do, to get their billing satisfied and the claim paid. A grievance is now being processed towards this office by my insurance company and myself for the unprofessionalism from Tonya. We have a recording of the call as evidence on file. Had they simply filed their claim correctly to begin with and not asked me to fix it this would not have had to happen. I feel that although the surgery staff was terrific the issues I am now having with my eyes, and the service I received after the surgery are a reason to consider going somewhere else.

I had a lot of concerns when it became clear that I needed cataract surgery. I read reviews and tried to do my homework. Now that I have gone through the procedures, I wanted to share a little about it. The options, insurance matters and potential out of pocket costs were clearly explained to me. After careful deliberation, I chose to have the Symphony multi-focal lens implants. I was hopeful that I would have vision on par with what I had with my contact lenses. The outcome was far better. Everything about the process was handled professionally and efficiently. I never felt I had to wait longer than a reasonable amount of time in the waiting room. At times, things could go quickly, but I never felt I was being rushed through anything. The doctors and staff always seemed to take whatever time was needed to provide individualized personal care. From the first consultation through all of the follow ups, I am more than pleased.

It's an AI assistant and she just can't understand that I need a later hour, not a different day. Forget about it. Absolutely the Worst Experience I've Had at Any Optical Provider…read more I'm not typically one to leave reviews--let alone complaints--but this experience with Visionworks was so outrageous, frustrating, and disappointing that I feel compelled to speak up. I've been wearing glasses for nearly 20 years and have never encountered such poor service. To start, I drove an hour to this location for an eye exam, only to wait 1.5 hours to even be seen. The exam itself took less than 7 minutes, and I then waited another 25 minutes just to check out. No explanation. No apologies. Just waiting. But it gets worse. I never received any notification that my glasses were ready for pickup. I had to call and navigate a painfully unhelpful automated phone system just to find out on my own. When I finally went in to pick them up, I discovered the prescription was completely wrong. I tried wearing the glasses for a few days, thinking I just needed to adjust--but I couldn't see clearly, read road signs, or even tell what was on caution signs. It was dangerous and unacceptable. When I called to request a recheck, I was met with rude, dismissive, and combative customer service. After waiting 22 minutes and 41 seconds, I was scheduled for a recheck the following Wednesday, only to later be told that the appointment would be completed in 30 minutes. Why couldn't I be seen during the time I was standing there, yet again waiting? Why wasn't that offered up front? Why was my original exam rushed, and why was there no urgency to fix their error? Today, I arrived for the recheck I was told was scheduled for "next Wednesday"--only to be told the appointment is actually NEXT Wednesday. Another hour's drive, wasted. The level of incompetence and unprofessionalism is truly astounding. To make matters worse, the new doctor was curt, unapproachable, and completely unwilling to communicate with patients or ensure proper care. This entire experience--from the exam, to the glasses, to the customer service--has been appalling. I've since refunded my glasses and now have to work with my insurance to cancel the claim, which I expect will be yet another drawn-out hassle due to this team's lack of urgency and accountability. I am giving this 1 star only because 0 is not an option. If you value your time, vision, or being treated with basic respect--go elsewhere.
