These guys went above and beyond to help me and my 2 daughters this past weekend! Our car broke down while visiting from out of town and we had it towed to Precision on Battleground. We needed to head back out of town the same Saturday we brought it in. They knew if they didn't get it done, we were stuck there until Monday when they reopened. They stayed 2 hours past business hours to get this completed and we were on the road and made it home that night! I can't thank them enough for their professionalism, outstanding work, and just overall great customer service to help us out in a really tough spot! Thank you! read more

I previously took my car to Precision on Battleground Ave in September of 2025 for an oil change and a tire rotation which came along with the oil change. I returned on Saturday May 23rd for another oil change and tire rotation. Upon completion, I was told that the rotation could not be done because they could not remove the lug on one of my tires and asked if I could bring it back during the week when they were fully staffed. I returned after work the next business day which was around 5:20pm and interacted with a MEGAN whom I am now finding out is a manager. I tried very hard not to have words with Megan, but her attitude made it very difficult. I was rudely told that they had just taken the last customer and that I had to come back earlier. I am constantly on the highway and heaven forbid I have a flat on a tire with a stuck lug nut. Never mind it's your fault the lug nut was placed on too tight, now you want to inconvenience me to get off work early? I returned the next day, while Megan was there and with a scowl on her face, never spoke or offered an apology for the fact that I had once again came in for nothing. The very nice gentleman on the front desk asked if I could come back on Saturday in the event that the lug broke and they would have to get another one without having to leave the car overnight. This brings me to today (Saturday) and my 4th visit this week. The lug was removed within 5 minutes and the same nice gentleman came outside to advise and apologize, still no apology from manager Megan. The young man asked me to wait while he attempted to get me a free service for my inconvenience which I already knew if Megan had anything to do with it, it was a waste of time given her attitude on my last 3 visits this week. The young man returned and SURPRISE SURPRISE Miss Megan said no. TO MANAGER MEGAN: You are not the only service company in town, in fact they are a dime a dozen. I picked you to patronize. You inconvenienced me 4 times this week, you never apologized and you had much attitude to boot. I understand mistakes happen but this was your mistake not mine. I don't need your freebies... but it is the principle of it... your attitude prevented you from offering a service for my inconvenience. YOU TRULY HAVE NO BUSINESS ETIQUETTE WHEN YOU ALLOW YOUR FEELINGS TO PREVENT YOU FROM RETAINING CUSTOMERS RATHER THAN RUNNING THEM OFF OVER YOUR FEELINGS... no one gives a s#*t about your feeling. Precision Tune you can do better. read more

I was explicitly told to bring the car in on Saturday, so I specifically chose that day because the car belongs to my sister-in-law who was in town from out of state. I rearranged plans and brought the vehicle in as instructed. Once I arrived, I was then told they couldn't take the car that day after all. This alone shows a complete lack of organization and respect for customers' time -- but the interaction didn't stop there. The employee I dealt with was shockingly rude and dismissive, and as he walked away he openly cursed, saying "Jesus fing Christ."* That language and behavior toward a customer is beyond unacceptable and completely unprofessional. There was no apology, no ownership of the mistake, and no effort to make things right -- just irritation and profanity after they gave incorrect information and wasted my time read more

0 stars , the manager is rude and workers messed up my car. Check engine light wasnt on before but after they got done its on now. No refund and they won't fix it unless i pay again. Also the manager discriminates so watch out if your young or colored. Wasted over 200$ for my car to be in worse condition. Also workers lied about a services that were requested that didn't get complete. read more

It took me 3 hours to get my oil and emission test done only for them to also come back to me with a laundry list of "repairs" that my car "needs". I got an unbiased 2nd opinion (meaning they didn't know I was getting a second opinion) and half of the things I supposedly needed: I didn't. The other half were wildly over charged by Precision. Don't go here! It's not worth it. They took 3 hours of my time and are predatory. Not to mention one of the front desk girls was pretty invasive and talked about how she'd take a baby Canadian goose home with her if they weren't protected by federal protection and how "weird it is that we protect a Canadian bird this way but not American ones". Absurd and untrue thing to say all around. read more

Just had my car worked on again yesterday. Am so grateful for John and his team! John is the manager and takes so much time to explain what is going on with my SUV. I don't trust a lot of car care places but trust John implicitly! I recommend THIS Precision Tune on Battleground to all my friends and family! Thank you John! So incredibly grateful for your help with my oil changes, alignment and tires!!! read more

This location has recently been renovated, and as a result looks a lot better than it once did. I chose to get a routine oil change and tire rotation done here because it is very convenient to my office and I wanted to get one done on my lunch break. On their website they had a coupon to get it done for $24.95, which is a more than fair price for this service. I wanted to use a synthetic blend oil in my vehicle, and expected to pay extra for that, but it turns out their house oil is a synth blend to begin with. I walked in without an appointment, dropped off my car, and went to one of the local eating establishments in walking distance while they worked on it. By the time I came back it was almost completed, and once it was, the total work time was about an hour. Certainly not as fast as the many quick lube and filter places that are popping up, but less expensive and they have a more full service facility for when you need more than just a lubing up. The tech told me that on my next service interval I will likely need brake pads, which makes sense to me given that my car is just a shade over 60,000 miles and has never had that done. Also, they recommended air filter changes for cabin and engine, a service that I usually will perform myself. The waiting area here is very clean, has a TV that you can change channels on if you'd like, and comfortable chairs as well as some reading material. Based on my experience, it is likely I'll come back here in the future for routine maintenance. read more

This place does exceptional work on your vehicle! The receptionist was superb-----I showed up on a Saturday (first come first serve) about 8 a.m. There were already three people ahead of me. It did not take nearly as long as I thought it would and when Precision was finished fixing my car, I Knew that it was done right. I am so glad I have found a wonderful and reliant auto repair place, with knowledgeable and competent people. HIGHLY recommend. read more

Realized I had a hole in my tire after stopping to fill it up with air, drove right to precision tune because I also had a coupon! Only an hour wait for oil change tire rotation and tire patch and only cost me about $50! Life savers! Woman working the front desk was super friendly and technicians were too! read more

Receptionist went in the bathroom as I was coming in the door. So I waited at the counter. Another customer came in and was waiting. After 15 minutes she comes out of the restroom and goes outside to talk to another employee. She did not care that she had two customers standing at the counter. Female mechanic came out from the back to help us. She was very nice and apologetic. I waited that long just to find out that their inspection machine was down. read more

This is the slowest State Inspection place you will find. I had both of my cars inspected here, and both initial inspections took well over an hour. They apparently get paid by the hour and it shows with the random smoke and conversation breaks. They have no regards for your time nor working in a timely fashion. read more

I have been coming to this location for years and they have always treated me really well. They are courteous, stand behind their work, and are honest about what needs to be done with my vehicle(s). I would recommend this location to anyone needing vehicle repairs or maintenance. read more

Was told it would be at least 2 hours before they could start my oil change, so I said that that would be fine and that I was going to run to the store and I would be back. They told me I couldn't do that. The man working the front desk was rude and not wearing a mask. read more

While driving around taking kids to dentist appointment and school I noticed a gurgling sound coming from under my hood. I continued to drive but listening for my radiator fan to turn on, it didn't. I pulled over and called PTAC what was happening and they said they would be able to get me right in. So instead of dropping my oldest at school I took her with me. When we arrived we were one of three customers and within 30 minutes they had my car out of a test drive. 20 minutes later the tech returned my car in the parking lot. 2 hours goes by and when I finally look up from my laptop, everyone else had already been finished. I start to get up, then the intake rep calls my name to step into the garage (for what I don't know, my car was in the lot). She shows me a clipboard with the words "could not replicate" on it. She asked me in a snarky way "the tech asked me how you knew your car was overheating if you have a picture up over the error light". I have a 2x2.5 photo of me and one of my girls up on my display that only covers "fuel efficiency" needle.... not where any lights are. I tell her again, no lights came on, I heard my fluids boiling, and my fans not turning on and need it diagnosed. She said she will get this "new" info to the techs and they will see what they can do. We waited another 30 minutes, then I told her I needed to get on with my life and cashed out. I told the lady that we are usually happy with the way we are treated there, but this time was disappointing. 3 hours of my time, subpar customer service, and disappointing tech service. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. Not only does this place take a very long time to work on your car even though they tell you when you first come in that it won't be that long, but also the employees are extremely rude. I have been a mechanic almost my whole life, not professionally but I have grown up working on cars, tractors, and four wheelers with my dad. I know how these things work, and it made me cringe when I was sitting in the waiting room listening to the people coming in and the employees telling them that they needed this and that that really wasn't necessary. But most people don't really know much about cars. Downright gouging and highway robbery. Think twice before you take your car here! read more

Honestly, one star is entirely too high! I got my car serviced from this location last week and they scratched side of my car during its service. Manager and staff was rude and did not accepted their fault. They asked to call customer care. No one pick the call in customer care. They don't have experienced technicians, I doubt they have staff shortage and trainees are handling services. Don't believe on their low price quote , they add much more to it. I do not recommend this auto shops for any type of service. read more

I've used these guys for years, and they have always treated me right. They are one of the few places that will let me bring in my own parts and just pay labor. Obviously, they can't warrant the part when they do that. Once, when they recognized that an error was made, they called me and met me at my place of employment to make sure my vehicle was safe to drive. Once, they even met me at a local business to try to get my truck to start so that I would not have to call a tow truck! read more

I had a bad experience here 2 months ago and like a masochist, thinking maybe they changed I went back to try to use their service. BOY OH BOY WAS A I WRONG!! THEY ARE STILL THE SAME WITH HORRIBLE WAIT TIME AND NOW WITH LIES AND BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!!! Went there on 3/30/2019 and I had some creaking noise I wanted them to check out. They stated I needed a part changed out. Took 3 hours before anyone told me this by the way. (Note: the part they were trying to add to my bill/get delivered was marked up by $104 compared to me just ordering the part online. So they were over charging me anyway but was going to minus the cost of the alignment to break it even for me to allow them to do anything that day because i told them that part was to much and I was given some excuse I did not care to hear because I wasn't going to do anything there if they were charging me that much for a part while i am sitting there with my tablet looking at the same part for Waaaay less. SO be warned, they do over charge tons for parts) Anyway, after agree to not be charged for the alignment to even out the over priced part, the lady first tells me she is looking for someone with part and I even said that I will just order part myself and come back the following Saturday but she claimed my car was dangerous and she wanted to try to get part today to be installed. Then the lady kept leading me on that she found someone that had the part and would get there (which it did not). I waited a additional hour (making 4 hours now) for them to confirm if they can get the part on Saturday 3/30/19. They finally said someone from another location is bring part and ETA is 1:30/2PM and they claimed they'd call me around 2PM. I finally got my car and left and went home to wait for their call. They did not call with any update and I was the one who called around 2:06PM. Actually,I was the one who had to keep calling them. NOT ONCE DID THEY CALL and they left me hanging. Could have at least called and apologized and been honest but the rude inconsiderate crappy people there just did not call or anything. And if my car was so dangerous as you claim you would have called even if you could not get part, just be HONEST but you were not, YOU are LIARS. When I called the first time at 2:05 PM they said 'wait 30 minutes and lets see' but that part was not there. Then I call at 3:22 PM and she gets on phone saying 'I promise you I will call you back in 15 min" then yammered on about having 2 tech guys do my part install if parts gets there before 4pm which at first I thought was nice but she never called with any status!!! 5PM comes and goes, so I wasted 8hours of my day on LIES!!! I have washed my hands of these people and will NEVER be back. I dont care if my car breaks down in front of their place, i will have it towed else where. I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER deal with these lying over priced deceptive Bad business practice place ever again!! This is a warning ALL dont do like I did, just dont bother going to them unless you like throwing away 8hours of you life on LIES!! Added note: to show you how much they were over charging me. The price was coming to $393 (which included part and alignment). I found another professional who is doing it with part and all for $258. So that's $135 additional I would have paid them extra for lies, bad business practice and no calls. NO THANK YOU and GOOD BYE Non-Precision Tune Auto. read more

I will never ever ever go to this place again. I've been there a few times over the past year because it's conveniently located but every time I go there even when I get a written estimate George Harztman tries to swindle me. This was the last straw for me this time, I had to call their corporate office just to get them to honor the actual written estimate. Trust me when I warn you to stay away from this place. read more

Took my car for a simple oil change. I asked for a realistic amount of time for how long it would take. I was told 2 hours. It took them 4.5 hours!! No apology or anything. Absolutely pitiful. When I said I would not come back, I was told "well that's good." read more

I came in to have a stripped oil drain plug removed. At this point I had already purchased my own oil and filter from another store. Every store at I had called said "it was mandatory" to use their supplied oil. Brian the manager quickly got my car back on the rack, fixed the problem and let me use the oil and filter that I had previously purchased and he only charged me 11 bucks. Not to mention Brian made my 45 minute wait seem like 5 minutes. He was one on the funniest and at the same time professional people that I have met. He kept the couple beside me and myself entertained for our wait. He made our experience and I will be going back because of the quality work and Brian's great attitude. Someone give this man a raise!!!!!!! read more

I had been there once before and had a so-so experience, but got the $16.95 Oil Change Coupon in the mail and thought that I would give it another shot. Just as I expected, after waiting I was called back there by "supervisor' to go over a laundry list of things they want to do to the car. Everything is listed and the prices are on there. All I asked for was an oil change - if I wanted a list of repairs I would have asked for it. The car has a bunch of miles on it, I don't need a reminder that this thing is not new. So I declined and he pulls out some spring looking thing and says "by the way, when we were changing oil we stripped the screw so that will cost a couple dollars to repair." Ok, so you caused the problem and I am paying for it - got it! My $16.95 Oil Change was now $26....should have just gone up the road for an oil change. Never again will I endure the consultation at Precision Tune Auto. Too many other places to choose from. I gave them two chances and they failed both times. read more

I've been taking my car there for two to three years now...mainly for oil changes. I've chosen to only have semi-synthetic oil put into my car, even though they've told me that Toyota recommends full synthetic. (Note: semi-synthetic will not hurt my engine.) Well, this time my son drove it in, and my son said that they told him that they'll never put semi-synthetic in my car again. Really? I own the car, so I should be able to make that decision. That's ok. I'll be taking my car elsewhere from here on out. read more

Ol' Sparky (Grand Am) wouldn't start so I had to have him towed up to Precision to get checked out. I was disappointed that they couldn't fix it (ended up being an ignition switch/electrical issue that had to go to my dealer) but they went above and beyond and didn't charge me anything after spending about 3 hours trying to fix it for me. I certainly think I should have paid for their time (heck we do that in medicine even if we don't always know what's wrong) but was very impressed again even if they couldn't completely fix the problem. I reiterate my strong recommendation. read more

I had an alignment done at this location, on my 2000 Toyota Avalon XL on February 19, 2010. It was a job well done! I found the employees very courteous, very professional, very reliable and very knowledgeable of their job. The services are really first class, and I will definitely return for all the services that they offer. For the past 8 years, I had been driving 16 miles round-trip for the maintenance of our two cars (2000 Toyota Avalon XL & 2011 Toyota Avalon XL) to a small, virtually-unknown, auto repair shop that performs very limited services. Ironically, this PRECISION TUNE AUTO CARE is only a couple of miles from my residence, but it never occurred to me to exploit the opportunity until I called this morning and was warmly greeted by one of the employees. Within 10 minutes I was at the shop. Thanks, guys, keep up the good work! read more

I can't say enough good things about them. We had work done less then 6 months ago and the same thing broke. They covered it under warranty no questions asked. Had a oil change and tire rotation done. Fast service and excellent customer service for Brice. Will definitely recommend

Worst place ever. Expect ZERO customer service, expect drastically over-inflated prices. A $19 part will cost you over $150. Stay away.

Left the oil cap off my car, and stated to smell smoke, pulled over and my engine was covered in oil. And on top of that one of the mechanics was rude and made it seem like my fault. My 4 year old could have done a better job read more

We had our old car towed to precision tune with the information from AAA we needed a new starter. The repair cost even after a coupon, was above the highest price according to repairPal.com. We were also charged for a Hi level diagnosis which could not be preformed because the car would not start. Upon requesting for the diagnostic to be waived, I was spoken to in a curt manor by Tyler at the front desk stating the charge would not be removed . I then asked for the supervisor Steve who I had worked with for 18 years. He sent Tyler back with words that no accommodation would be made to the bill regarding the Diagnostics. I requested again to speak with Steve- finding out Steve was not the same Steve who was the previous supervisor I knew, but another, Steve Vestal who stated again the $78 would not be refunded, with a firm, unpleasant manor. He then proceeded to tell me what diagnostics they did do all of which were not on the sheet we signed. An over priced $426 starter repair will be our last business there after 18 years. Customer service is important. They are over priced and greedy. I would not recommend going to Precision Tune Auto Care on Battleground. read more

I needed a vehicle inspection, and Precision Tune Auto Care was able to fit me in immediately. From the very beginning of my interaction with the staff they were welcoming and enthusiastic to help me, Michael took great care in explaining the one repair my car needed to pass inspection and talked me through the cost before proceeding with the work. This location must have changed management to poorly managed! I've been going to Precision Tune for the last 20 years for all my car repairs. Will not be going back.
