They have a great selection of guns and ammo they are very knowledgeable and helpful. There gunsmith is the best I have found and very reasonable $$. Awesome. Precision Tactical is great. They have a decent selection of guns, ammo, and accessories. The prices are right in there with anywhere else in the area. I wouldn't leave this location off your list if you're looking for anything firearm, or even bow hunting, related. I went in to have a AR-10 build Cerakoted. It was 3-color multi-cam and the cost was just around $325. I chose Precision Tactical to do the work because I found one in their shop with the finish I liked. It turned out great. This is in regards to the bowtech: I brought my bow here with a new string, cable, and module (supplied by me). I was looking to get my draw length adjusted and the bow fitted. When I came to get my bow, the bow tech didn't come out to speak with me; instead, he had someone relaying messages for him. The draw length was adjusted, but not fitted. -No silencers -No peep sight adjustment -draw stop was missing. No mention of it to me -no tune -$100 In all fairness, I never specifically mentioned putting silencers on and a new draw stop, but it's almost like he didn't give a s***, and the work reflects that because two weeks later, my module backed out while I was firing, and the screws gouged the arm of my bow. I had heard not so good things about the bow work here, but figured due to the locality that I would give them a try. Take the extra time to go elsewhere if you live in Crestview and save yourself the headaches. v/r read more

Great place, great prices, the guys that work there definitely love their job. I worked with Rome and he helped get my compound bow tailored to me, cut my arrows , showed me how to aim, what to look for in shooting my bow. I'm new to archery but He took time to help me zero my bow at the archery range right outside and Any question i had, he had an answer for. I bought a new glock 43. The handle is green and the slide was black. Since I owned a glock 19x in green I took my 43 to Precision Tactical to have the slide Cerakote to match. Six months later it bunked under the coating. I took it back and they told me it should not have happened and offered to fix it. I agreed but when I picked up my gun the slide was pitted. I believe the coating was not put on correctly. I was told this was my issue not theirs. I will never spend another cent with this company. I feel totally ripped off. read more

Horrible business with below average service. If you're a gambling man, this is your place for custom firearms. I witnessed an order placed for a custom creakote AR with a specific design and color to which the salesman acknowledged the design, ON PAPER! and not only was the design completely wrong the color was wrong too. this place is more than a joke, so buyers beware. Not the most pleasant experience. Staff was not friendly and welcoming. Prices were on the high side compared to local competition.

On July 27th we dropped off our bear bow to have it looked over and to have the limbs changed/ and we also purchased a Matthews. We left the Matthews there as well to have the sight, d-loop, and a rest put on. 3 weeks later when we came back the bear had not been touched. He then told us when we said we just wanted to go ahead and pick it up, that he would have it ready for us that day. We understood that this is the height of the season to have your bows fixed, which is why at first we weren't upset. Cam, the guy that "fixes" the bows was very helpful at first and yes he seems extremely knowledgeable about the sport. Cam also told us that he had just received another job and that it was taking up most of his time. Again we were completely understanding and decided to let him keep the bow to work on it. During this time the bow was not touched and when we called to ask about it Cam told us that a man that was waiting on his bow to be fixed had noticed that our axel was bent. Mind you our bow had been there for a month and he had not noticed that our axel was bent himself. So he said HIMSELF that he wasn't going to charge us for that and to let him finish it and he apologized. We went back the again and cam wasn't there so they couldn't give us our bow plus it was still in pieces. Also in between this time my husband got a new number and called the shop and told one of the workers that his information had changed and that he wanted to update his phone number, they said they had it covered. The third time my husband went back, he was headed to Pensacola he was going to pick it up and take it different bow shop and he expressed how we were upset to one of the workers because by this point it had been month and a half with no updates, Cam wasn't responding to us and we haven't been given an update on the parts he ordered. The worker told my husband that he was the owner and that he "normally doesn't tell people that." Also that he would personally look into it and have the parts expedited. My husband called four times in a week and never got a call back. On Tuesday my husband was headed to Niceville and he stopped by and the owner apologized and said that the part would be here the next day. He said that he had tried to call us but that the number was disconnected. Which means the other worker never updated our information. We came back two days later to get our bow and at first we were charged $80 for a "tune". We told the worker who I found out to be the owner that we weren't supposed to be charged that. He then called cam and cam said that we were supposed to be charged a $25 bench fee. We paid it just because we wanted our bow back. I spoke to the owner and was calm about the whole situation. He told me that since I was part of the bow and gun world that this is what it's like to wait. I told him that I was upset that Cam was neglectful of us and that he lied to us. He didn't believe me and there's absolutely no point in arguing with them. It was our fault that we kept trusting them and its why we just picked up the bow that is not even fixed and we just dropped it off at a different bow shop. I understand that an owner wants to stand by their employees but we were being neglected. read more
