Each time I have gone to Robert, he has helped me tremendously to decrease the pain and get my life back on track. What makes the experience unique at Quantum Physical Therapy as oppose to other places is the personal attention from Robert and his staff. He genuinely cares about your well being. Most patients like myself are suffering from debilitating pain, it helps tremendously to know that he actually cares about that. You are not just another patient. He takes his time to get to know you, works with you on your personal recovery goals. He is clearly knowledgeable about physical therapy and he takes his time to tell you why your body is behaving the way it is and how you can help it be better. He listens to your needs and goals for recovery. When I wanted to give up ever getting better he encouraged me that it will get better and he was didn't push me too hard. When I was all gungho about doing every exercise, he wisely cautioned me to slow it down. He was right ever time. He knows what he's doing. I've been to other physical therapist and I was not satisfied. I wanted to quit going to physical therapy long before my subscribed period. The PT barely spoke to me, they never explained what they were doing or why. There were often so many PT's you had a different one each time you came in. Quantum Physical Therapy is not like that. There is a very caring and friendly atmosphere and that helps the healing process tremendously. It was the only time in the day I felt like it was "take care of me time," because that's how they made me feel I finally was able to relax and loosen up a lot of tension. Now I get anxious when my sessions run out and wonder if I will qualify for more time. Quantum Physical Therapy has always been very flexible about scheduling. They do their best to give you the time slot you need. They are also courteous if you need to change your schedule. They have also worked patiently with me to be reimbursed by my insurance companies and they are good about helping you with your paperwork for insurance companies. Unfortunately due to the nature of my injuries, I seem to need ongoing physical therapy to keep the pain at bay So I've spent a lot of time at Quantum and I have overheard a lot of conversations from patients. I have never heard of anyone being upset or unhappy with their visit. If you are a person who really needs a therapist that cares about your recovery then Quantum is the place.

There are a few times in life when you look back and say, "I wish I did this earlier" or "why…read moredidn't I do this earlier"... going to Dr. Cano is definitely one of those times. Back in 2010-2011, I started experiencing upper back pains and after a few months of neglect I totally threw my back out. I went to my primary physician who gave me some mild muscle relaxers and some prescription Advil/Tylenol type pain management medicine. Nothing too strong but one visit and I walked out with 3 months meds. Seemed odd to me but I trusted the Doctor's opinion... I took the meds and was able to get through my days but they never corrected the root of the problem so I never went back for more. I thought "why mask the pain?". Over the next few years I would experience days where I felt okay then days of back pain. Then thankfully in 2016, I met Dr. Cano, who after only a few initial visits helped to correct the pain. In fact, for the first time in 6-7 years I had pain free days. Now I was not 100% cured but what a feeling!!! I continued seeing Dr. Cano several more times and each session I learned more and more as to why my back hurt and left each session with new stretching and work out techniques to ensure my back pain would stay away. And it has! I'm excited for my next appointment. I hope it's soon. :) Don't make the mistake of waiting. Seize the day. Make an appointment. P.S. Called for an appointment. Went. Found that I had used this same group a few years ago when I had shoulders replaced. May seem strange but I loved them then and still do, John works me hard, he felt I would not progress as I have. I do the exercizes at home as well during therapy sessions. I have made huge progress. Know I still have a ways to go, but this group does a superb job, Receptionist answers questions and is very helpful. Therapy sessions are well organized and its the best place around.
