The scheduled me for this morning at 9:30am. Since I was a new patient, I showed up for my appointment at 9:00am knowing I would have to fill out a bunch of paperwork. At about 9:40am, I asked the receptionist when I would be called in, since I had to get to work. I was told that the doctor wasn't even in the office yet, and that I would probably not be called in for a while. With that, I asked for all of my paperwork back, a refund of my co-pay and left. Since Dr. Greenblum obviously has a consistent issue with time, it shows a lack of professionalism and respect for his patients. Although, the staff was kind and as professional as they could be in the minimal interactions I had with them given the situation, it doesn't make up for the fact that this was a waste of my morning. I recommend finding a different orthopedist, unless you want to waste your time as well.

Assistant hand writes your medical history interviewing you doesn't use laptop. He blew my Mom off and said she was loaded with arthritis. He told her to take Advil which she can't with a heart condition and never read her chart. They charge you $25.00 for your own copies of X-Rays. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone and he has no compassion for the elderly at all. My Mom was in terrible pain and went to him for help and was offered none.

Thinking I have nothing else to lose (well except for some money lol) I then gave acupuncture a shot. Gunilla, who was at the front desk, was just lovely and welcoming - I just had to mention this! she was always a pleasure. Anyway, I had my consultation with Taya which was very thorough. It was then that I actually realized how stressed I was. I seriously did not think I was until I answered the questions she had for me. Acupuncture helped me relax and, although it didnt quite relieve my backpains (from office work), it did give some improvement with my sleep and worries. During the sessions, the tables are warm and comfortable and so conducive to sleeping/relaxing. Lights are turned off and music was soothing too. The walls, however, are quite thin so me being a light sleeper, I can easily hear some outside chatter if there are any. And plus when the train passes by, the noise can be easily heard in some of the rooms. After going 1-2x a week for around 7 months or so I could definitely tell my stress levels were getting so much better. I do believe Taya and her acupunctures sessions helped a whole lot in the success of our pregnancy and that we now have a 5 month old baby after years of trying and waiting.
