I wanted a second opinion and asked my dentist to send my records to Dr. Silver. On my first visit for a consultation, I was made to feel very comfortable by his front desk receptionist, Christine. (Actually Christine is a lot more than a receptionist. She is involved in every aspect of the office. SHE REALLY KEEPS IT RUNNING SMOOTHLY). Anyway, I waited less than 5 minutes before I saw the doctor. When I explained my problem, he gave me several possible options but what was viable naturally, couldn't be determined until after my exam and x-rays. Dr. Silver is amazing. His office is tastefully decorated and immaculate, as are the exam rooms. Love the coffee table books. The procedure was very involved and I needed an extraction and implant. Throughout the very involved process which took many visits, Dr. Silver kept me informed every step of the way. He made sure I was comfortable and his tecnicians are wonderful. This is a one doctor practice, which I prefer. You get to know the doctor and staff on a one on one basis. Dr. Silver has a very dry sense of humor which adds to the experience. I never thought that I would call going to a dental specialist an "experience" but that's how relaxed and comfortable this office makes you feel. Marianne, his tech is wonderful. The entire practice is so comfort oriented, that you almost forget you're at a dentist. Dr. Silver is also available for emergencies on Saturdays. Since I'm fortunate that I have no cavities, I go for regular cleanings and evaluations to keep me cavity free.

So I called the number listed to make appointments; after going through the need for my office visit, all of my medical history, address, insurance, etc. we finally get to the appointment scheduling part of the phone call -- they can't get me in for almost 2 months. Why did they waste my time getting all my information, and going through all the rest of the 10 minute phone call when I clearly stated it was an urgent need at the beginning of the call. When I questioned the woman on the phone about this and asked if there was any way to get me in sooner, she responded lackadaisically that was the only appointment she had available, but she could add me to the list if she had any cancellations. I have found that some Doctors and Dentists don't think they're a business that needs to worry about customer service anymore; luckily they're listed on Yelp and I'm able to share my experiences with other. Treat me like a faceless number and I'll take my business elsewhere.
