I got bids from five tree services to trim two trees and these guys were the highest by far. 2.5x…read morehigher than the second highest bid. They do a lot of advertising so I guess that's where a lot of it goes. Also there's extra cost of having a person just for giving estimates. Downsides could be details not conveyed to the crew or having to explain it again. On the plus side, they were available fairly quickly. Or is that a bad thing? I guess if you have an emergency and need tree work done right away and money is not a priority, give them a call. But if you have time, always get multiple quotes and check their insurance and licenses, don't just trust their word.

His four man crew was there early the next morning with a tree boom and chipper and took care of not only the fallen limb, but took out the dead wood from the tree and parts overhanging the roof. While they were here, I asked them to take the overhanging limbs on the roof from a large tree in front which they did. The whole job was completed and completely cleaned up by 12:30 PM! They were very efficient and professional. They really know what they are doing! The quality was excellent and the value unmatched! I highly recommend them!

The crew even got on top of my roof to clean out my gutters from any tree debris. I would highly recommend Doug and his crew for any and all tree/stump removal. Marshall took the time to walk us through all of our options, answer our many questions, and provide us with a fair quote. The crew of about five men who completed the project were all professional, respectful, and courteous. They had to use a crane for the removal, and it was clear that safety and professionalism were a priority throughout the entire project. The team also did a great job cleaning up the yard before they left. We truly appreciated the excellent communication, professionalism, and quality of work from everyone at Rivendell Tree Experts.
