**UPDATE : After writing this review the director of the company contact me by phone. He wanted to hear what happened. So, after expressing to him what happened he offered to come over and Power Rake my lawn. He explained that the Power Rake is more of an aggressive technique or process to get the dead grass. An apology was given to me about not contacting me before coming onto my property. I accepted his offer of having his team come over to power rake my lawn at a time when I would be home. They came over that afternoon. The team lead guy was very pleasant. The team power raked my lawn and did a great job! I am very happy now how it looks. Through this experience it's important to learn the difference between dethatching and power raking. **I want to thank the director and the team for addressing my frustrations and concerns.** Terrible and unsatisfied service! I specifically asked to be contacted to when they would be coming. I was told it would be the first part of May. So, I was not even close to expecting them even if I wasn't contacted. I was not contacted and came home to what looked like part of my lawn had been mowed. My neighbor usually mows my lawn, so I called to ask if he mowed my lawn. He said, confusingly no. So then after looking at my security cameras I determined Precious Lawn Service was on my property without letting me know. I called them immediately. The assistant said she would contact a supervisor. A supervisor called me and asked to come over. I explained by concerns and frustrations. He explained that they are not able to contact me before coming over because they have too many clients. Then he asked if I requested it? I DID REQUEST A CONTACT! I INDICATED I WANTED TO BE HOME WHEN THEY CAME. Also, since they did not contact me, they were not able to get into the backyard because my gate was locked. I was explaining my frustrations to all the issues I was upset about. Then he chuckled and gave me a smirk and giggle. Then I told him this is not funny. This was VERY DISRESPECTFUL! They were supposed to dethatch my lawn and then for 10 minutes after he left, I had another person come over and he raked up a lot of dead grass. I have pictures of just a small part of my lawn where there was still a lot of dead grass. I can't do this because I have a bad hip that is why I wanted the dethatching done. Now I have to hire someone else to get all my dead grass off my lawn. read more

Most unprofessional company I've dealt with since moving to the Fargo area. Last winter, I hired Precision for snow removal. Long story short, my front porch was ruined as well as the newly sealed driveway. I had just refinished the porch and had sealed the driveway in the Summer of 2022. It was perfect. Unfortunately, I saw no reason to take photos of the driveway. This spring, as the snow melted, I discovered that there were long gashes both horizontal and vertically in the driveway. The driveway is almost gravel at this point. Skylar Akason claims that the quality of concrete in ND is poor- which is true, however the house is 4 years old and the concrete was perfect. In addition to the above, my flower beds were "taken out". I realize that accidents happen and was not worried when I contacted Skylar Akason. I mistakenly thought that any professional business owner would at least be willing to discuss the damages and figure out what to do about it. From the beginning to the end of our correspondences, he was aggressive and rude. In addition, he made many sarcastic excuses such as "Why would you have a wood porch in ND?" According to him, that is why the damage occurred...because it is wood! Ummm...lots of decks, steps and porches are wood in ND. I considered small claims court when I discovered the issues in the spring after Skylar Akason became aggressive with me. I then figured it would be a waste of time and money since the driveway was unrepairable. Now they are taking me to small claims court for not paying them for the last month of service. I will go to court and I will fight it, even though it just seem so petty and aggressive of them. Precision also put me on a "black list" with the larger snow removal companies. Just wanted to let everyone know about this negative experience with this most unprofessional company and the owners. read more

Hired snow removal. Nearly double the price of other companies. A few times they did not complete the snow removal for the full sidewalk. I called about that but they did not offer to fix that. One time they arrived but sat in the driveway for 15 minutes and never got out of truck. I assume they realized there was not a lot of snow that day and most had melted so did not need to do the work. however, they charged me for their visit! I called the office to complain, but she did not remove the bill because technically they came out to our house. read more

Pay a premium price in advance for snow removal with Precision. They are pretty good about getting the driveway. Sidewalks take days after snowfall to be completed. They already have your money so there is nothing you can do. read more

Precision built a new deck and did landscaping on my front yard last year. The plants are holding up well despite the drought, however, one of the daisies did not come back this year. It is the one on the far right. read more

We have used Precision for lawn care fertilizing weed control the past two summers and our lawn looks much better. During last winter we had them do snow removal during large snowstorms and they were very responsive and courteous. read more

Was paying $260/mo for them to mow my lawn, weekly. When I found out I could pay my renter, Meridian, $75/mo for the exact same service from Precision I was excited. I talked to the owner, Skylar, which we had no legally binding written contract with and threw a fit when I told him I wanted to cancel our "contract" with them and go through Meridian. After my lawn care was switched over my lawn was mowed once, then not for two weeks. I called Meridian to see what was going on and they told me "the owner refused to mow your lawn because of a bill you have with them." I dug through my mail and found a bill for $440... it definitely was forgotten about, but I never received a call from Skylar saying they wouldn't be taking care of the lawn until it was paid, so I'm annoyed. Went directly to their office, immediately, paid my last $440 bill, and was on my way. Skylar also claimed since they started taking care of the lawn it's been looking much better... actually I paid $600 out of my own pocket for seed and fertilizer, so I don't give any credit to Precision for making my lawn look better. Since posting my negative reviews Skylar has called me and my roommate at least 10 times in the last two weeks. Would've been nice to get a call saying they weren't coming for two weeks. I'll be contacting Meridian with problems with my lawn, not Precision directly, I'll be expecting the same from you, Skylar. read more

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The owner Skyler is totally unprofessional, unethical and a liar. I hired them to do a power rake, fertilize and spray weeds in our rock garden. They sprayed my lawn and power raked the same day. Within 24 hours my lawn turned completely brown. I called Skyler and told him my entire lawn is brown. I demanded he come and look which he did. He said something is obviously wrong and we both agreed it was most likely the fertilizer spray . He said don't worry several times I promise it will be fixed. I still planned for him to spray and pull weeds in rock garden. I waited a couple weeks and finally called and asked if they still planned to pull weeds and spray Rock garden and he said they did three days ago. That was a total lie the entire area was covered in weeds (see pictures). He expects me to pay for work he didn't perform and pay for his terrible service. read more

The crew did an excellent with our small landscaping project. I snapped a photo of rock and mulch around a row of evergreens that I liked and asked if they could do that in our yard. Skyler said "Sure, we did the job in your photo last year." Funny as if they were reading my mind. read more

The whole process of planning the project with our landscape designer to seeing the project come to life as they recreated our backyard space was just an all around positive experience.
