Changed out my entire clutch system , switching factory cable clutch to factory hydraulic clutch ( i don't give s shit about your opinion on hydraulic ) adding Rekluse clutch slave easy pull. The only reason there are two stars is because I like Rich- he takes the time to talk to my husband and they have a great rapport. I have heard horror stories of this MC dealership even within our own family- however despite this we chose to purchase our '22 Roadglide Special here. They swapped the bike in quickly, and my husband went back and checked the bike out while it was still in the service storage area. He was whisked into the finance office (he's an FI manager for 20 years himself in the auto industry) and did all the paperwork. The FI guy was less than knowledgeable about the product and the warranties, etc. Upon the ride home- he noted that the wheels were not what the deal specs were and were not the original ones that came on the special. We called and were told that those were indeed not the right wheels but that we were stuck with them! After calling HD corporate- they agreed the wheels we were given were about $1500 cheaper and that unfortunately this was a dealer issue. We called back Precision and Sam in service told us we were indeed stuck with them and that the best she could do was give us the RIGHT rims- that are specd in the deal FOR COST! Keep in mind- there is absolutely NO MARKUP in the wheels. SMH. I am so freaking disappointed- I called HD corp AGAIN- they told me to take it up with the dealer- so I callled Sam once again. NOW- all of a sudden we became part of what she said was a 5-person meeting where they made sure we were aware they were not the original tires!!!! Lol. If they were that concerned- they should've changed the writing in the deal. I'm pretty sure this is illegal and will be contacting consumer affairs. But the worst part of it is- she is not accurately defending their actions. We were never made aware - it was just them sweeping the issue under the rug. They absolutely would have been able to remedy the situation. Harley Davidson as a manufacturer has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Like as in comparable to Walmart or a cellular network. The way they treat customers in the phone is no different than the way they talk to their franchisees. I am so disappointed in this trademark American company as a whole. The fish stinks from the head, down. Harley needs to change the way they treat people, for sure, and then maybe the treatment will trickle down to the people who keep the product alive- the customers. read more

I bought my first sportster from precision. It being my first bike/Harley, I was unsure of what to expect from the sales staff, the service and the bike. What I found is that the price was right, sales were straight forward and no bull, the finance guy/John was up front and honest and the bike, well the bike served me well for 5 years! She was a beauty! Now, I went in thinking I wanted another sporty type bike. The salesman/Anthony, which they never do, said why don't you take a ride and make a decision while you ride let the bike do its job! He could not have been more right! I came back and had a pretty good idea on which direction I wanted to go and it was nowhere near where I was before. I ended up buying a Softail Deluxe, which I am more than ecstatic about! When you purchase a bike from Precision you become part of their family. I was about to take a trip for several days and had a light come on. The jackasses at my local Harley Dealer in KC MO, said the LED replacement light I needed for my hard bag spoilers were no longer available. I only had these things for 2 years. The guy printed out a list of other dealerships in the USA that might have them in stock. He handed me the list and told me it would be better if I called them myself. It was 20° outside and I was literally the only non-employee in the place! Anyway, I took the list home and didn't have to go past PRECISION HARLEY in Rhode Island. Noel in the parts department dug through all his old stock. He found what I needed...it had been on their shelf since 2012. So glad he was relentless and thorough! As a general rule, I don't like automobile/motorcycle salespeople. They are often pushy, play "bait and switch", tell you that your financing did not go through after you've bought something, but offer to get you financing at another bank from a higher rate. Then there's the whole ordeal about going back and forth with the manager, who is in the other room so you cannot negotiate with him directly. I am too old for games. And most dealers give you a price, but then add on dealer prep, freight charges, advertising charges, and every other charge they can think of. But I just bought a new Harley here, and the experience was great. Jay Charney was a straight shooter, knew the bikes, didn't play games, kept his word, and was easy to work with. The dealership did what they said they would do. And they told me up front that the price they gave me was the "out the door" price, with the exception of a 195 dollar document fee, which went to the state of Rhode Island. Tom Bond read more

Unprofessional and not trustworthy! I bought my HD front tire for $100 from Precision Harley and asked them to put it on my motorcycle. They said it would be $44 installed. I brought the bike in and they said the bearing needed to be repacked and the front brake pads needed to be replaced so they called me and said it would be $160 total and I said sounds great. I went to pick it up and they charged me $280 (I already paid the $100 for the tire prior). There was no tube price on my receipt so I asked if they put a new tube on with the tire and Mark told me no and then he asked Lou and he said yes. Ok how do you forget to install a new tube with a new tire? I paid for the tube anyway and then weeks later I got a flat front tire and found the cause to be a popped tube. The tube was the original from the old tire and I couldn't believe that they would lie straight to my face and tell me they installed a new tube when in actuality they forgot to install it and didn't want to reinstall it because of being busy or for whatever reason. I called the shop and complained and they backed up the mechanic's word and said it was a new tube. So they charged me for a tube that was never installed. I do not have enough money for lawyers otherwise I would definitely try suing them for the unsafe practices they used against me. I know you are probably busy like me but do not take your bike here it is not worth the hassle and danger. read more

I delivered my bike to Precision Harley Davidso for repairs from an accident in July of this year, I waited approximately 2 week intervals to check the status of repairs, bike sat the entire months of August and September, not being repaired. Over a two month time span and several conversations regarding my bike and possible completion date, as I planned to attend Biketoberfest in Daytona. I had reservations beginning 13 Oct, and around 1 Oct, I called Precision Harley to check the status of my bike, trying to get an idea if I should cancel my reservation and this is the response I received: (keep in mind, the bike has been in their possession since 31 July) We are doing our best to get your bike repaired as quickly as possible so that you can make your planned trip as scheduled. Precision Harley Davidson ( name used in place of person spoken with on regular basis) went on to say that they have additional mechanics being paid overtime to finish bike, as though they are going overboard to insure I make my trip, AGAIN, keep in mind they had my bike since 31 July. After all the headache, I received my bike and as expected, there were issues (emblem peels off, Rhinehart exhaust, one was about inch higher than other, replace kickstand, headlamp) had to return for problems to be corrected, that was another three weeks sitting at Precision, glad it was not yet riding season. Checking the insurance estimates and parts list and cost, I discovered Precision Harley had billed for two of the same parts which were needed, but only replaced ONE and left the old part in place, in which they in interim had to replace anyways. Went to Precision for a new tire that was cut deep on the side wall of my 2008 Ultra. I am in town from South Florida, and ride daily year round so a bad tire on a Saturday was not an option, the service department , Marlene answered the phone on the second ring. She sent me to parts where they answered on the first ring. The parts department even had the tire in stock, what a surprise! I was then sent back to service where I was told come in and we will fit you in. I thought OMG this will take all day. Nope not here, they were quick efficient and knowledgeable. I was so pleased I even had a set of Reinhart slip on installed at the same time. All this in under 1 1/2 hours. If I could, I would NOT even give them a one star rating. I bought a brand new bike from them, they we're the sweetest people to deal with. However, once the deal was done it was done!!!!!! They couldn't even be bother to go over the bike with us BECAUSE the sales person Tom ( who we made the deal with) was too busy trying to make another deal . I wish I could give less than a star on this one...My boyfriend called from out of state to ask if they could replace his rear tire on his bike. He was told they could squeeze him in and that it would be $350. After his drive down, he has to wait all day to get the tire replaced - he called at 10am and drove down shortly thereafter. The bike was not touched until 4pm. Needless to say, despite waiting around all day in Pawtucket for the tire to be replaced, he is then told that there is corrosion (they never showed him the corrosion on a 2 year old bike) and it will cost him $510 for the tire and mounting...What a racket! After moving here from out of state, I was looking for a Harley Davidson Dealership I felt welcome at after being referred to a dealership in R.I. which for my moral reasons I will leave their name out if this review I was shocked at how rude the parts women was behind the counter, I left without making my purchase. I then by the grace of God heard a few fellow riders praising a dealership in Pawtucket called Precision Harley Davidson, on my next day off I went in skeptical but was greeted promptly and with a warm welcome by a young man named Gab he helped me with all my questions and I definitely felt welcome I made my first purchase in Rhode Island @ Precision Harley Davidson and it will definitely not be my last. Before I left i was even more surprised when he asked if I was Brasilian and began speaking to me in my native tongue. YOU GUYS ROCK PRECISION!!! I came in for a new tire for my sportster. they had the tire right in store . The service department was very awesome. Everyone was very friendly, qualified, and well-spoken. I ended up buying a really cute harley davidson jacket as well..they have great merchandise FYI. I also took a walk through their showroom and was very impressed with their bike selection. Brought my old ironhead top end in for them to fit pistons that I purchased online. a week later they call me up and the price had doubled. They painted the jugs and heads also. When I complained they didn't budge, to this day they still have my high compression pistons, jugs and heads, I sold the bike as a basket case. read more
