I love all of the staff and the owner. My dogs love them too. They get so excited as soon as we enter the door. They leave feeling great, and truly as if they've had a spa experience. My favorites are Trey and Kat. Sam & Malibu have also stayed in the boarding and playcare in Prattville. We've also had our Guinea pigs and Rabbits nails trimmed. Thank you Mike and crew, for providing outstanding service, going above and beyond, and keeping in constant communication. I highly recommend you all! read more

Precision Grooming cut our puppy in the neck last week (3/2/23) and has been trying to cover it up and lie about it ever since. They keep removing our reviews on Google. Fortunately Yelp will not let them hide. We brought our 6 month old puppy here for her first grooming appointment. Luna is very much an indoor family-friendly puppy raised around 2 school age kids and 2 infants. After dropping her off for her appointment, a few hours later this busines contacted us claiming they would be unable to finish the grooming halfway through the cut. Their excuse was that our puppy was too much for them to handle. After we picked Luna up, we discovered that the groomer actually cut her in the neck. It's a 2 inch laceration that they failed to mention to us. We had to take her to the vet-- she's on antibiotics now! So not only did they butcher our puppy making her look absolutely ridiculous, but also they injured her and tried to cover it up. Please see attached photos of Precision Grooming's hack job on our puppy. The next day we took Luna to PetSmart where they got the job done safely and correctly. If you love your pets, please do NOT take them to Precision Grooming to be maimed and disfigured. Absolutely NOT recommended. Don't forget to look at all the pictures. Just awful. read more

The first time I went to this groomer, they were pretty nice!! The second time, however, is what changed my mind. This happened about a week ago and I've stewed on it for a while and decided to post my review and switch groomers. My dog was there for 6 hours. 6. For a teddy bear cut and bath (he's a small dog and his first groom of the exact same service was 2 hours) but I figured maybe they were extra busy. They finally call me and I immediately go to pick up my dog. The front desk person comes out and immediately tells me my dog is not allowed back for biting, being mean, hurting groomers, ect. Now, my dog has NEVER growled at anyone or any other animal and with his first groom, they said he was incredibly well behaved and sweet. He is very friendly and well trained so I was SHOCKED. She then asks if I was notified about his accident. Then I started to panic. I said no and she explained that he has lunged at the clippers and it cut his face pretty badly. About 5 seconds later, they bring out a TOTALLY different dog. This wasn't my dog. They then treated me like I was crazy and I didn't know my dog? And went back to the back and realized they had switched up cages. My dog was probably sitting back there in a cage for 4 hours because they mixed cages up. Did I get an apology? No, not really. I got a "hehe sorry". What if that other dog's owner had come in and they presented my sweet, well trained puppy to them and they took him?? What if they had just handed over the wrong dog and my dog was stolen. They're lucky i'm a nice person because I SHOULD have gone off on all of the workers there for being SO CARELESS. They also failed to cut his nails which was part of what I paid for. So yeah. Not going back. They need to get workers who A. Don't mix up dogs and B. Fess up when mistakes are made instead of laughing it off. read more

Unprofessional! I contacted this business to get grooming prices. They were to high so I thanked them and said sorry to have bothered you. I then started get text messages. They said they were the lowest in town and I begged the difference. I told them what I was paying it just hard to get an appointment. They texted me 8 times saying there's no professionally groomer I can go to and pay that price and I should stick with whoever I claim I pay that price to. I told them I did have to lie about it and they didn't have to be a jerk about it. I told them I plan to stick with them and at this point I wouldn't use them if they charged $4. I asked them to delete my number and please do not contact me any more. They contacted me 5 more times after this point. I let them know that I was going to report them because I asked them not to contact me again. Their reply on the 6 addional text was "Lady I don't care". Something should be done about is type unprecedented harassment. This is an ongoing discussion of on my previous review. Would you believe these disrespectful jerks texted me again for the 7th time after I asked them not to contact me again. I called the known emergency number and was told to filling harassment charges. The latest text message is in the attachment below. I said latest because they will not stop apparently until charges are filed! Here's and up date 9:05 p.m. 3/11/2022 this crazy individual from Precision grooming called me and cursed me out. I keep telling him to leave me alone he said he's going to sue my ass quote unquote. I told him I have witnesses that is lessening and he is being recorded and he said he don't give a Damm! Great service across the board! I took my two golden doodles here for a bath and minor grooming, they came home smelling fresh as ever! They listened to my concerns and over delivered. I have now set a new appointment for my third doodle to get grooming and bath as well. Thank you all for bring kind to me and my pups. read more

The gross negligence and mistreatment of my 2 dogs is truly heartbreaking. While boarding our dogs here, both were able to get out of their cages. The shop left not one, not two, but three doors open while the cleaning crew left the front door open. One of my dogs ran right out the front door. He was missing for over 72 hours before he ran back to the shop. We were out of town at the time and rushed back as soon as we could. They did not put up any flyers for our dog, had only one person they named "looking" for our dog, and even suggested we should pay their employee that saw our dog come back to the shop the reward we offered. A professional shop would have offered to pay the reward themselves. We found major neglect and mistreatment of our other dog. When I picked her up she was covered in her own urine, she sleeps in a cage at our house every night and has never done that. She was also had sores all over her. We took her to the vet and he confirmed it was bed sores from being in a cage for far too long. The shop admitted the employee that was looking after the dogs was 100% wrong and said it should have never happened. This employee is still working there and maybe handling your dogs. Our poor boy was lost, alone, scared, cold, and wet for 3 days, please do not trust people life this with members of your family. Outstanding Service! The groomers are experienced and take pride in doing their job well. I thoroughly enjoy doing business with this Precision Grooming. Their customer service skills are excellent. They are personable and professional, which is a bonus. I receive routine reminders regarding my pets Bathing and Grooming care, and thank you notes after services have been provided, via text message. If I have a concern, I receive a personal telephone call from the manager who resolves my challenges quickly and efficiently. Took my bernedoodle here for a simple wash and cut and when I got him back I noticed his hair around his mouth was poorly trimmed and basically butchered.(no big deal) When I notified them to ask if I can bring him back for a simple fix they began bringing up issues they had with clipping his nails and Having to hold him down to do it which wasn't told to me upon pick up and was basically told to accept that poor service because I could've been charged more for the difficult handling during the nail trim. They acted as if everything was fine when I picked him up and never told me about the issue. After being rudely spoken to by staff over a minor issue I asked to speak to the owner and one staff member said he was the owner (clearly he wasn't) and refused to let me speak the the owner. I reported this issue and the copy of the rude unprofessional txt messgoes to the BBB. If you want quality work DONT GO TO THIS DUMP. I gnored the 1 star rating for them and I hate I did. read more
