I have never seen a happier group of dogs. Staff and facility is excellent. Couldn't recommend more.

She actually comes over and spends time with your animals before taking you on as a client. She wants to not only gain another customer, but make sure it's a good fit. Our various dogs over the years have grown so attached to her and her staff that they don't seem to have missed us all that much on our return. They also do all the things I'd do if I was home such as check mail and open and close blinds or turn lamps on and off. You can leave instructions as to what you'd like done on the visits. I don't recommend anyone else in the Montgomery area! They handle it all: dogs and cats but also Guinea pigs, hamsters and horses. No animal too big or too small. We are so glad we found this business and we don't dread going out of town and having our animals kenneled and anxious anymore.

No exercise was requested, and no extra services of any kind. We originally asked Creature Comforts to watch them for 10 days while we were out of town. Our plans changed, and we adjusted to only 3 days. The price of services are not listed anywhere on the website. She charged $18/visit on regular days and $23/visit on holidays. They requested an entire packet of information after a home tour and introduction to our pets. Barbara was nice and did take good notes as well as "starting a file". She left the packet with us and requested that we leave it with her along with the payment upon her first arrival. She requested the key be dropped off at her home prior to the start date. We followed all of the instructions. During our trip, she made no communication efforts with us. We arrived home and the check was gone, but all the paperwork and instructions she requested were still on the table. She made no contact with us after the dates had passed to ensure we had arrived home and our pets received care, or to return our house key. After a week, we called to get our key back. It was provided to us on a plastic ring with our names on it. When my husband asked what happened to the keyring we had provided with the key she simply stated she didn't know and she couldn't accept any type of keyrings with keys. (i.e., she removed it and did not return it). As far as we could tell, our dogs had been fed and watered as requested. Nothing in our home was disturbed. But we were not impressed. Honestly, we've had better help from neighbor teenagers for a much lower price. This is a helpful service, but I can't recommend it unless you have no other options.

They have always shown compassion, professionalism and are reasonably priced. The doctors make you feel like your situation is the most important thing going on. We had a situation a couple of weeks ago that reinforced our opinion of these amazing caregivers. We brought our 14 month old Cocker Spaniel puppy named Brees in one morning because he couldn't urinate. Dr. Danny Mount immediately diagnosed bladder stones. Within the hour he performed successful emergency surgery. He called and let us know all went well. He was going to need hospital care for a couple of days. We went to visit our puppy the next day and as they were bringing him to us he started having seizures. It was very sad and scary. Dr. Mount immediately gave him meds to try and stop the seizing. At the same time he began trying to figure out what was causing this. He dropped everything when we were there and spent at least an hour or more talking to us. Eventually we had to leave and planned to come back the next day. We came back the next day and Brees was still in the same condition. Meanwhile Dr. Mount along with his son Dr. Jonathan Mount had figured out the problem. I won't get into the diagnosis, but I will say that it was something he had his whole life and we had no idea. We found out that Dr. Danny could check on the animals via cameras. He saw that night that Brees was not doing well and at midnight he drove an hour and spent the entire rest of the night taking care of our puppy. After another morning of talking with Dr. Mount and holding our puppy we left again with plans to return on Saturday. Dr. Mount also decided on a plan of action to treat Brees. Saturday morning Dr. Danny called and said he had been there again most of the night with our puppy but he had passed away at around 4:00am. I went back to the clinic and Dr. Danny and Dr. Jonathan spent all the time I wanted talking to me. We feel very confident the two doctors did everything they could to make our puppy well again but it just wasn't to be. If you want to take your animals somewhere that you know they will get amazing care then take them to "Pet Care Center".

The first time I was there with my Dog everything was fine, the facility was clean, people were nice and informed me well and the price was as they had said. The second time I was there and dropped my dog off for teeth cleaning, I had already gotten a price and was told what they would do etc. So when I went back to pick my dog up it was chaos in there, dog doo doo on the floor along with blood on the floor etc. I went to pay and all of a sudden it was 50.00 more than quoted to me. They brought my dog to the inside door and she could not walk. I ask what was going on and I could hear young kids in the back laughing and doing what kids do. She was wet and could not walk and I began to get really upset, so I am 70yrs old and my dog is a big as I am and I picked her up and carried her to the truck. Got her home and called another Vet. they told me she should not be this way and I should call them and ask how much drugs she was given and for how long. I did so and they could not answer me and came up with a BS story. Based on what she did tell me my dog had been under all day and only was taken off drugs when I got there. That is not what I was told when the vet called me to tell me everything went well. Then to only see and find out that only the outside of her teeth were cleaned. The inside had not even touched. The bottom line is, this place can be Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I personally will not take my dog there again or return for any reason! Note: I grew up on a farm so I know a few things and of course have seen a lot of animals being treated for different things. You can trust me when I say, its a damn good thing that I got there when I did and she finally did came around. I took her there about 7:30am and my guess is she was put under right away, then they got busy with something else and just left her. Thank you, MT

This had not happened before. We talked with the kennel manager because we were concerned she was not being taken out in a timely manner. Awhile later, this same situation occurred again. We were told they were treating her properly and this could happen. We had to unexpectedly board her 2 days this week and when we picked her up this morning, her bed was given to us wrapped in trash bags and we were told we needed to wash it that she had urinated on it. When we got home and unwrapped the bed, not only was it wreaking of urine, there was poop all over it and it was way past needing a wash. It appeared our dog had laid in this. Also, we took her food and there was food remaining in her bag so we're not sure if she was being fed properly. We got a new bed and will not be going back. We feel that our dog was neglected at this facility.
