Our garage door spring broke on both sides. Which locked two of our vehicles in the garage with no way to get them out. I contacted Precision Garage Door Service on Tuesday at approximately 6:30pm. They had an appointment for the next day, but due to work neither my wife or I could be here for it. So we scheduled for Thursday. Mike arrived and was polite and professional. He inspected the door and provided me with multiple options. Since my wife wasn't here to stop me, I went with the top option. (Better to ask for forgiveness than permission) Mike installed all new parts, including a new motor, interior pad, and exteriors pad with code. He was efficient, and had everything repaired and replaced in a little over an hour. Then he walked me through the new system. Explaining everything, including the Warranty. He cleaned up everything before he presented the bill. The new system is quieter and smoother than the original. It was not inexpensive. But quality work never isI am hoping it last just as long as the original, which was (9) years. If not longer. Maybe a little bit expensive, but I'm also new to the area, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. I didn't get any alternate estimates to compare it to so I can't really talk. Robert came and fixed the nonfunctional garage door in the house I just purchased. He was friendly, respectful and honest. I called him after the service to ask where to get a remote and he said he could charge me $122 for it but that I could just get the same thing on Amazon for like $12. I appreciated that; every penny counts when you're dealing with a fixer-upper, which this house definitely is. I would recommend and hire again. read more

They grossly overcharged me $2,500 for springs on my garage door system. They also told me I needed a new opener at $1,000, when it was just a sensor problem. The tech hardly inspected the system before telling me I needed a new opener. Horrible service and grossly overcharges!!!! Glad I found another reputable and honest garage door company. read more

I called, they replied, came over on time and got the work done that I needed done all in the same day. I got the complete overhaul done except for the door itself. I feel it was a little overcharge, but we needed this done pronto. Our tech Mike Marro worked NONstop once I agreed to everything. Very good at his job and he got rid of all the old stuff. I was very disappointed in Precision Garage Doors ! They quoted an approximate price over the phone - but when the installer arrived, he quoted a vastly higher price! He was trying to upsell. When I told him I couldn't afford that , he came down to double what was quoted over the phone ! My garage door made some strange noises when I went to open it, and no longer functioned. On the recommendation of a neighbor, I immediately called Precision. I was pleasantly surprised upon calling Precision to have the phone not only answered live, but by a very pleasant and helpful young lady, Kaycee. Kaycee took down my information and scheduled me for a visit the next day, Monday, by a Service Technician. Half an hour before the scheduled home visit, I received a call from the Service Technician, Michael Covich, informing me he would arrive within a half hour, which was the exact time of the scheduled appointment. Upon Michael's arrival, he immediately diagnosed the problem (a broken spring), and proceeded to give me options as to how the repair could be made (fixing just the spring, or replacing other parts of the door's operation.). I chose the latter, and Michael informed me this repair would take between an hour and hour and a half. Just like clockwork, the repair was completed within the time frame. When I tried out opening the repaired door, it worked like a charm, and the entire operation of opening and closing it was much quieter than before, thanks to the replaced parts. I would highly recommend Precision to anyone contemplating having their garage door repaired. The two individuals I interfaced with Kaycee the phone receptionist; and Michael Covich, the Service Technician; were consummate professionals. Mike showed up on time diagnosed the problem and gave us options for replacement of garage door opener which was 25 years old. He showed up next day after we purchased the opener at Home Depot which saved us over $500. Mike very knowledgeable, efficient and cleaned up and was determined to fix the issue and follow-up after installed. Highly recommend and honored the coupon in Neighbor packet. Called Precision regarding the status of my replacement panel they ordered after their visit to my house the day after Thanksgiving. Also needed them to check on a problem with my door closing part way. The problem was with the mechanism that opens and closes and they recommended what to do. On 10/25/2021, my spring on the garage door broke. I called Precision overhead door and they set me up for an appointment the next day and said that some one would be there between 8:00am and 10:00am. On 10/26/2021, at precisely 8:00am, the repairman "Cody" arrived. He inspected the garage door and evaluated what needed to be done. He gave me an estimate to which I agreed with and he went right to work. He completed the job in about an hour and a half. I was very satisfied with the job that he did.
