He then came out the next day and replaced a short wheel with a long wheel and tuned up the whole door. It ran a lot better. Then a week later I had him install a belt drive opener with MyQ remotes and app. WOW!! It's like we got a whole new door.

Exceptional Service - Even Outside His Area!…read more We can't say enough good things about Jim and his garage door repair service. Although we were outside of his service area, Jim still took the time to help us. After getting a $1,400 quote from another company, we contacted Atlantic. Jim spoke with us over the phone, diagnosed the issue right away, told us exactly which parts to buy from a local home improvement store, and even gave us a realistic idea of what a local handyman should charge to install them. He said he'd be happy to walk us through the repair over the phone if we decided to tackle it ourselves -- all completely free of charge! To top it all off, he followed up the next day via text just to see if we'd found someone to help. We ended up spending a little over $400 for parts and installation instead of $1400 thanks to Jim. This kind of honesty, kindness, and professionalism is rare. If we were in his service area, he'd be our go-to for life. Highly, highly recommended!

I contacted Precision Garage Door Service on Tuesday at approximately 6:30pm. They had an appointment for the next day, but due to work neither my wife or I could be here for it. So we scheduled for Thursday. Mike arrived and was polite and professional. He inspected the door and provided me with multiple options. Since my wife wasn't here to stop me, I went with the top option. (Better to ask for forgiveness than permission) Mike installed all new parts, including a new motor, interior pad, and exteriors pad with code. He was efficient, and had everything repaired and replaced in a little over an hour. Then he walked me through the new system. Explaining everything, including the Warranty. He cleaned up everything before he presented the bill. The new system is quieter and smoother than the original. It was not inexpensive. But quality work never isI am hoping it last just as long as the original, which was (9) years. If not longer. I am very pleased with this company and would recommend them to anyone who may need garage door service.
