Let me begin with the fact that Dr. Martikyan was wonderful when I saw her. I have no complaints about her whatsoever. Mind you, there are several doctors at Precision Foot and Ankle. Maybe I need to go to an office that's not "corporate." However, I should have asked before going what the office visit cost would be. I spent 15 minutes with the doctor. She looked at and touched my feet and visually assessed my issue. Never did I expect to see $455 for an office visit on my insurance claim. I won't get into the details of what my insurance pays and doesn't, but good lord! She snipped a tiny piece of nail off and it was billed as skin surgery for another $200. Wth?! I hope I'm not completely insane thinking that's sky high. I could have clipped the piece of nail off myself and handed it to them. Needless to say, I canceled my follow up appointment and when I asked how to get the results, I was informed that it would cost another amount for her to speak with me on the phone for 30 seconds to tell me if it needed to be treated over the counter or if it's nothing (result of trauma). I kindly refused. She'd said at the first appointment she was 99% sure it was only previous trauma and nothing else, so I'm going with that. Btw, I did ask if I could get my results online (there is usually a patient portal of some kind for other doctors I go to) and I was told, "I don't think so." They must not participate in the portal. My Appointment was at 2:15 Seen doctor at 3:15 not bad of a wait .. Considering there was a new system to check in with...The staff is super sweet and kind ...I was annoyed because there was a lady coughing and sneezing..I asked for a mask..They didn't have any..A few coughs and sneezing more they Miss Minor !.."yes" I replied...We found you a mask " ...That was very kind of them as we all made Eye contact..As to say you are safe now Miss Minor Dr Martikyan is a perfect physician in my opinion...To add to this story..I had nerve pain In my big toe for over a year nerve pills ..The prior DR before the present one could not figure it out...I told the nurse my story ..She said .."Here is your problem "An ingrown nail... she got it out and I am in my closed toe shoes again..It like a family there. read more

Doctors here are fine but the office staff screws up appointments left and right. After my first appointment with Dr. Feit, I scheduled an appointment to have a procedure on an ingredient toenail. When I showed up that day, they said I didn't have an appointment for that day. After going back and forth, they said Dr. Maher would be able to see me instead. Like I said, the doctors themselves are not the problem. We set another date to do the procedure. The day before that appointment, I get a call saying they have a bunch of emergency calls so could I change my appointment? I told them no because I already worked around their schedule and had other obligations as well. So Dr. Maher performed the procedure and we set an appointment for 2 weeks later to give the toe time to heal. Fast forward to today, 8/26/21. I get a call reminding me of my next appointment but at 10:30 instead of my scheduled time at 11:15. I tell her that I have the appointment on my calendar for 11:15. She insisted it was 10:30 so I said fine. After going to get the appointment card, it shows 11:15 so I call them back and notify them I'm holding the card with the correct time which I will bring with me. Now the story becomes they had to move my appointment up. Nobody mentioned anything about changing the time or asking permission to do so. I told them I would be able to make the earlier time but it upsets me to no end when they change things for their own convenience and make it seem as if YOU screwed up. If you are unlucky enough to belong to a medical group like Optum that sends you to this incompetent office, make SURE you call a day or 2 before to confirm your appointment has not been altered and for Pete's sake, keep your appointment card so you can prove what your appointment date and time actually are and take it with you to present if they try to pull a fast one. Keep your copay receipts as well. It's a shame the doctors here are saddled with such an inept front office. read more

I don't write Yelp reviews, but felt the need to thank Dr. Lashkeri for seeing me twice approximately 2 months apart. I went in for a neuropathy issues. He was very knowledgeable, explained everything well and took time to answer any and all of my questions. He prescribed a supplement and also a temporary foot wrap at the first appointment, and based on my feedback at the second appointment was able to provide a clearer path forward in treating the issue, what to do/continue doing and what not to do, and again answering all of my questions. I was offered options for purchasing arch supports and socks, but declined while appreciating that the staff did not pressure me at all. While others have reported bad experiences with the staff, I did not experience anything negative. read more

I want to start off this review by saying I would give Dr. Alona Kashanian and Precision Foot and Ankle Center a zero but the lowest rating you can give is a 1. I would not even recommend this office for your pet. I find Dr, Kashanian to be very arrogant and entitled. The front office staff totally dropped the ball on my referral request to obtain an ankle brace for support after breaking my ankle. The Dr. ask the staff to submit the referral on June 12th and today 27th 6 weeks later the referral is still pending. In addition, they also dropped the ball on physical therapy referral that took me a month to get into Physical Therapy. After the third time I called the office the P.T. finally came through. I left many messages for Dr. Kashanian to call me to help resolve the referral issues she never returned my calls. In addition, the Doctor prescribed me two medications and when I went to the pharmacy the office had only submitted one of the meds. While the overall service with initially getting in to see the Doctor, getting x-rays, wait time in the office was not bad. The front office staff is very defensive, protective, and in denial about what goes on. On my most recent appointment Dr. Kashanian was unwilling to discuss my questions about my long referral wait times she kept saying she "Loves her staff". She was very defensive about her staff and was not interested in providing me with answers or decent customer service. She may "Love" her staff but they need to do their job and provide decent customer service. read more

If only I could rate this place lower than one star... Look, Dr. Kashanian is nice and the nurses are too - these are good and knowledgable people. Unfortunately, the office staff worker named Annabelle is very rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Here's what happened to us. On Aug.17th, our 3yr old girl broke her foot, so we called our insurance company to find an in-network urgent care facility. They gave us the address and suite number of Precision Foot and Ankle Centers. Once there, Annabelle informed me that they were not urgent care, there were no open appointment times that day, and that we should go elsewhere. I was talking with Annabelle about this, meanwhile my child was in pain, Dr. Kashanian began to overhear and said she would see my daughter right away. The treatment was fine, x-rays and cast, but afterwards Annabelle came into say that Precision Foot and Ankle Centers is actually not in network for me (insurance company screw up it seems, no surprise there) and I would in fact need to pay all of the bill in total before leaving. No, they could not bill us, but they dropped their rates for the visit. I was now on the hook for $325. I paid it because I had no other choice at the time. I figured we could deal with the billing/insurance/office stuff after taking care of my main concern: my daughter. So, today was the day that my wife called the Precision Foot and Ankle Centers to get as much information as possible as a lead up to calling the insurance company. Annabelle was rude, unhelpful, and demeaning to my wife over the phone. When my wife asked to speak to the office manager, Annabelle put her on hold forever. When my wife called back an hour later, Annabelle hung up on her. My wife tried numerous times to call back in an attempt to speak to anyone else, but since Annabelle answers the phones and has caller ID, my wife's calls went unanswered. This is when I started calling. I called three times in the span of 15 minutes, but all my calls went to voicemail. I decided to call from my office phone - this call was answered right away. Why does Annabelle think she has the right to screen calls? As a patient/customer I think I have a right to be heard and have some basic questions answered. On the call with Annabelle she was rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. I asked her why she wasn't answering my wife's questions and why she was screening our calls. She claimed she didn't need to deal with us because we were argumentative. I informed here that her job is to help people and to represent her company in a positive way - and that she was failing in both of her charges. I left the call after informing her to get all our medical records, x-rays, and billing information into a package which I will pick up when they open tomorrow. There is no need for us to ever go back to that facility after this experience. I urge you to find a different office to visit - or wait until Annabelle is dismissed from her position before deciding to go to Precision Foot and Ankle Centers. read more

Tried to make an appointment but it took several calls with 10 to 15 minute hold times and then told that they cannot tell me whether or not the doctors accept my (very common) Blue Cross Insurance. If it's this difficult to get in the door, I don't want to find out what treatment is like. read more

Dr. Feit and his entire staff are true professionals. I was worried going to a new podiatrist after I learned that my podiatrist had retired, but I was put at ease as soon as I met Dr. Feit. He was kind and appeared genuinely interested in resolving my foot pain. I'm now on my way to recovery which is a good thing because I'm an avid runner. It warrants mentioning that his office runs on schedule--they always manage to get me in at my appointment time. As evidenced by my 5 stars, I highly recommend Dr. Feit. read more

I called the Torrance office to schedule an appointment on 7/9/19. I explained to the female staff person the purpose of my call. She asked for my birthdate, which I gave her and I explained I had been previously seen by Doctor Maher and that I was aware she had moved out of the area. When I told her that I belonged to Torrance IPA, and was on medicare, she told me that they no longer accepted Torrance IPA patients. When I questioned that, since I had been seen there just 3 months earlier, the woman abruptly hung up the phone on me, without any further explanation. I consider this person's behavior rude and unprofessional and I am surprised a professional office would employ such person. Take your money and your business elsewhere! read more

If I could give this doctor no stars it would be appropriate! Dr Lashkari preformed a preventative procedure on my right foot in December of last year. Prior to surgery I was completely pain free. My foot as he put it needed a bunion removal. So it was my assumption doctor would know best in preventing future problematic symptoms. I recommend any individual considering surgery with this doctor to cancel immediately! He has destroyed my foot. I am still unable to walk and when I do it's with a limp. My foot swells till even a tennis shoe will not go on. I live in 24 hour pain. Pain so bad I wake up during the night and take medication. Dr lashkari was never concerned why the pain level did not decrease over time. Simply offered a timeline of this being "normal" for a year or even longer. He has ruined all parts of life. I have suffered and spent many months crying regretting I ever went into surgery with this heartless man. There's not a day that goes by that I can live without pain medication. Unfortunately I was referred by my primary doctor thru Healthcare Partners to this butcher. Please beware. Do not have any procedures done at this office! read more

The best podiatrists I've ever seen. I saw Dr. Kashanian first and I could immediately tell she is very smart and so friendly to top it off. My next appointment was with Dr. Feit who, again, is so smart and friendly. They are both seemingly highly educated, knowledgeable and experienced and their staff is so helpful and proactive; they helped me out so much when I was dealing with scheduling MRIs at 3rd party imaging centers. I don't know what made me choose this podiatry office but I'm so happy that I did. Dr. Feit has given me so much information about my ankle that I never received from other doctors. Dr. Kashanian is a nice doctor but his staff is not professional. The do not take responsibility for their errors. They charged me a co-payment for an appointment they made in error and made every excuse and refused to refund my co-payment. They even laughed. I have been to see Dr Feit twice for issues with my feet. The office staff is friendly, quick to respond and the office is clean. Dr. Feit spends time looking at the past injuries asking the right questions and has a very good bedside manner. He is knowledgable about new technology and generally has a likable quality and is caring and empathetic. I would refer him to anyone of my friends and or family. I had a follow up visit and found the experience to be even better than the first two. The wait time was minimal and the staff checked in on me make sure I was comfortable. read more
