He used OEM filter and gave me the old filter and sample of fluid for my examination. He also was gracious with a Lyft drive home. So... we're on our way back from a cross country trip (from our home in Lake Tahoe, California -…read moreall the way to New Orleans...), and now we're in Fort Worth Texas. The truck has been running rough since before we arrived in New Orleans, and has been running progressively worse... To summarize, we called these guys on a Friday night, and amazingly they are open on Saturdays, and they tell us to bring it in. Long story short, they diagnose #1 & #3 injectors as being bad (I already had a hunch...) and the suggest that we do that "bank" of injectors. In conclusion, the truck made it back to our home on the west coast, it's now been a couple of weeks (and a another couple thousand miles) and the truck is running great. As per their suggestion, we will plan on replacing the "other" bank of injectors in the near future. A great many thanks to Mark and his shop Merry Christmas..!! Dan

And I received a reply that they're closed every second Saturday. 3/8/25: My husband has been calling, left a message, and even drove by this morning around 8:30am (website says they open at 7am on Saturdays). However, no one was there! And there was no sign on the door stating if they'd be back later, no post on their FB page or notice on their voicemail box. I checked all avenues because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, I don't like giving low stars to local businesses.

I scheduled my appointment online, which is very convenient for busy people like me. I waited about an hour for them to complete the job. Once they finished, I headed to work and noticed the car was pulling to the right and felt out of balance. I had already replaced other parts and there was nothing wrong with my Sienna. I immediately turned around and asked them to review their work. The technician came in saying that he would talk to the manager. The manager came in and told me that my car didn't have camber adjustments and that I would need to install some shims to get it fixed. They offered to fix the problem, but it would cost approximately $400 -- almost what I paid for the tires at another shop. He insisted there was nothing else they could do. I was convinced he was being honest and honorable, so I decided to save some money and go back later to get it fixed. However, a friend recommended M&P Tire Shop for a second opinion. I went there and found a gentleman with no sophisticated machine or fancy facility -- but he was able to fix it, and the issue was simply related to the toe. Therefore, either the Brake Plus manager needs training, or they are colluding to scam customers. Very disappointed.

Shocks $300.00 and labor was done for $100.00. When Brakes plus looked at my SUV they said work needed to be done that wasn't necessary and the mark up on their shocks was terrible. Over $700 per shock for original factory equipment. I ordered those shocks from a parts place and they were only $150 each. They also said I needed to have an alignment done when I replaced the rear shocks. This wasn't true. A very disappointing experience. Many people are living from pay check to paycheck. A fair price for services is appreciated. If you read my reviews you will see mechanics that are reasonable and fair.

My quote for replacement was a third of the dealership estimate and half of the next quote. My truck has a lot of miles so I was a little wary and didn't want to throw a lot of money with so many miles. I had a great experience- super nice staff and my truck was in and out in a couple of days for the price quoted. Nothing "hidden" and no surprise upcharges. I was contacted in advance of starting repair and I was told all that was found. It's been a little over a month since the repair and my transmission seems good! Would recommend!
