Do NOT use this company. They do not confirm they are going to do the project and show up without letting you know when they may come. The job was so very poorly done. They claim three men worked over two hours and it looked like maybe one person worked for about 30 minutes and charged over $600! Poor quality work and high prices! I used this company for 4 weeks and every single week there was some sort of issue. The first mow of the season my yard look like my teenager had mowed it. Large patches of grass un-mowed and no weedwacking done whatsoever. I called the company and the crew back to correct it. It was only these guys first and second day so I was understanding of that. The second week they sent a different crew. I was outside at the time and heard one of the guys explaining to the other how to weedwack. I go out after the job was done and it looked a little better than the first time but not by much. Again patches of grass un-mowed and the weedwacking I did get was very uneven and cut to the dirt in some spots. The 3rd week they didn't show up at all, however, I got an email saying it had been completed. I called the company and they sent yet another crew out who only mowed the front and again didn't weedwack and let large clumps of grass laying   because they had missed the previous week and again patches unmowed. I called they company again to find out why and they told me the crew said the gate was locked which it wasnt. They told me the crew would be back later that day to finish which they did not. The next day another crew showed up to finish and made a comment on the poor job the previous crew did. They proceeded to mow, when they were done I went out to check it, not expecting it to be a quality mow and they didn't disappoint, it was the same crappy job. Called the company and cancelled service.  If you want to deal with these types of issues all season and have your yard look like it was done by  lazy teenager then this company may be for you. Former employees weren't treated fairly, more like a temp agency with the amount of people they kept in a 5month period. No equipment was up to date with maintenance. Owner would be upset for spending money on parts to fix something than to make it easier on the workers. The way they paid was horrible, Landscaping the highest a lead was paid was $20hr but if they had to mow when no more mulch was available but only make $10hr. They would say " OH you get paid per job with PPP" and no matter how many times how "PPP" was explained it never made sence. They also would have 2 employees go from thier maintenance side to fertilizing without letting them know it was considered a different company "TurfKing" and because no paperwork was fill they just used thier previous information for it. All with the promise of making more money when it was slow at $16hr but the taxes both companies would take they say "Oh it evens out if it was on one check" worst place to have worked for terrible management my the owner who's never there because hes always playing pickleball or taking advice on how to run a company with others on zoom. Do not use this company they just want to make a quick buck off terrible work. read more

We hired Precision Cutz to install Christmas lighting at our house. They scheduled the install for the first week of November. They were a no show for the install. They continued to schedule and not show up multiple times over the next three weeks. Finally, they said they would come the Monday after thanksgiving and get the lights done that day. They showed up at 9 am and worked until 2 at which time they left. At that point they had put up ONE 20 foot string of lights. After waiting a month for one string of lights we canceled the service and asked them to leave the lights at the house. Rather than trying to fix the issue or issue an apology they complied and dropped the lights at the house. However, they also said they intended to bill for sales tax for the lights which we purchased in a prior year! Stay away from this company. They over promise and don't deliver. read more

After years of having the same lawn care company, we had to find a new one this year. In early May, I let Alec know the crew was not weed whacking areas. After working for a few weeks pulling shrubs, clearing the fence lines, cutting back around the house, I was hopeful the crew would maintain all the effort we did. Unfortunately in a little over 3-4 weeks, since the crew did not trim, we had serious overgrowth. I emailed Alec again and was told he had put in a request and if I could supply pictures. (Attached are after we pulled everything and from a week or so ago.) I did and never heard another word from him. I emailed a week later to say it was still not being done and nothing...so I found a new company and informed them I would no longer use their service. I also asked for a $35 refund because the new company said the first cut would be more expensive to correct the issues. Tara said Alec was out of the country and that she would happily cancel service, but there was a 15 day termination time. I never once on the proposal, weekly bill or verbally was informed of this...oh! and would not do any refund. I give her the detailed breakdown and looked into our 'requests' to find the original 5/11 email I sent about the trim was updated on 8/5. She responded that the areas I mentioned (around the house, patio, fence line, etc) were 'in the mulch bed (they are not) so that is why the guys did not do it. And she would terminate our lawn care now, but would not refund our extra money to the new company to fix the issue Precision Cutz did not do. I have added the pictures I took after we finished tearing out weeds and brush in late June and the pictures I sent Alec in early August. I'm so glad Tara informed me my mulch line was around the house and in the fence line. She never Told me where the 15 day clause was, never offered a refund or to have the crew fix the problem, nor did Alec...which is what their policy says. I take responsibility for waiting so long, but I did email and think...it'll be done next time. If I could give a 0 star review...I would. I have NEVER done a review for bad or great service, but since this was not handled correctly, I am keeping to my word to place a negative review. As for all the glowing reviews....Alec did ask all his current clients to give him a review for his birthday and about 3-4 times since. I would be very specific if you choose this company. And if the issue is not fixed, harp until your satisfaction is obtained. Don't wait like I did. Now I have a new company that does multiple houses on our street and am saving $5 a week...after I pay more to fix the Precision Cutz crew that did our .5 acre lot in 15-20 minutes....with 1 person! **Update** Alec sent an email apologizing about confusion of his staff incorrectly saying we had a 15 day termination policy, has trained his staff and terminated the crews that were not up to his quality of work. I appreciate his honesty and candor in addressing our complaint. While we have already switched lawn care companies, his apology and letting us know how he is handling the situation is very professional and courteous. I like working with Alec and with the changes he has made will definitely increase client satisfaction. read more

Consumers beware, do not hire this company for any reason. In our opinion they run a shady business. We hired them one time to mow and do weed eating. The lawn was not completely mowed and only a tiny bit of weed eating was done. By not completing the job they were hired for we cancelled them. They claim to have a 15 day cancellation policy, which 1 they did not tell us about and 2 they were cancelled within that time anyway. We were never given any sort of contract to begin with. Had there been a contract they had already broken it by not doing the job they were hired for. After being cancelled they sent a crew to our house on June 2 to mow. They were sent away before any work could be done. On June 5 they charged me again. Spoke with them again today and we're told they would be returning on June 13 to mow again. We told them not to come here or charge our bank account again. The conversation ended with no resolution. read more

Precision Cutz Lawn Care used the first day of the IN governor's shelter in place mandate to go through my neighborhood and leave fliers on doors. They then proceeded to do lawn work on a neighbor's lawn. Pretty sure that lawn care is not an essential service. I don't harbor ill will towards the two young men out working but this company and it's owner obviously have no regard for the health and safety of their employees and customers. I understand that small businesses and their employees are desperately struggling during this pandemic. But this is downright reckless endangerment and I hope this company gets fined for violating the governor's order. Please join me in boycotting Precision Cutz Lawn Care until they decide to put our country before their own bottom line. read more
