Now, I'm just recently divorced, bought a house, Im living on half my salary so I have to be careful how I spend my money, James charges $40:for a haircut and it's well worth it unless you know you can get about the same cut from a barber or a different hairstylist. I know of two that do it for $20 I just have to travel to Ellijay, 40 miles away, but I may have too. Now remember that the price of the haircut does not include a tip, which I give $10, so now the haircut is $50, I promised myself a while back that I would not pay $50 for a haircut, I will have to go back to Barb who is a master stylist but only charges $20 The shop was great, the owner was there, everything went smoothly and if you're willing or able to pay $40 for a haircut then you should go there.

If you go any time after noon (or over your lunch break) you are going to be running up between their breaks and hoping they don't decide to split before you get a turn and the queue slows to a trickle. Going first-thing in the morning doesn't work very well either, one of the barbers is always rolling in late so it's already backed up as soon as it opens. It is a good value, but really not worth the effort to drive in for such an unpredictable service.
