From my previous review I have to say they've redeemed themselves, I made an appointment with James instead of Jesse because of what happened last time. James is a great guy , great hairstylist and a genuine good person, cuts great hair and is great to talk too, however his title as a master hairstylist means your going to pay more for the cut. Now, I'm just recently divorced, bought a house, Im living on half my salary so I have to be careful how I spend my money, James charges $40:for a haircut and it's well worth it unless you know you can get about the same cut from a barber or a different hairstylist. I know of two that do it for $20 I just have to travel to Ellijay, 40 miles away, but I may have too. Now remember that the price of the haircut does not include a tip, which I give $10, so now the haircut is $50, I promised myself a while back that I would not pay $50 for a haircut, I will have to go back to Barb who is a master stylist but only charges $20 The shop was great, the owner was there, everything went smoothly and if you're willing or able to pay $40 for a haircut then you should go there. read more

Hi, I have greyish white hair and I wanted to boost it a little and have some darker color streaked through kind of like a salt and pepper look , well one salon I went to did such a bad job that I had to wear a baseball cap for a week until I found Foil and Gloss Salon in Blairsville Ga. I have to say Jesse did a fantastic job in correcting this problem it took 2 trips 1 week apart but then results were just what I was looking for, the person who did the work on me is Jesse, she is phenomenal if you need any corrective hair color work done because someone messed you up I would highly recommend you see Jesse at Foil and Gloss you won't regret it! Jesse is a true professional in the hair industry she took her time with me explained what needed to be done and it turned out great I'm glad I found Foil and Gloss hey will be my new hair salon for sure. Such a wonderful experience. Jesse did a color correction and added some curtain bangs. Her talent and experience were undeniable. I even sipped on some seasonal coffee as I was pampered. Worth every penny. Referred a friend who also had a pleasant experience. I can confidently say I found the perfect salon, FINALLY. Valerie, the owner, made sure to get me in as quickly as possible. Very expensive. I was shocked to be charged $80 for a simple haircut. I called the owner and she was rude about it. She said they do fine with their pricing. Obviously she did not need to keep me as a customer. read more

After 2 visits, I have to say that they may be known for coloring hair but not cutting. Went to Valerie, impressive resume,$70.00 for a basic cut, but it was not want I wanted. I left looking good, but she cut it to her styling. I wanted simply a layered cut from top to bottom. Second visit with Chloee. Booked online, fee was $50.00 online but she charged $70.00. Not a master stylist and she too could not do a simple layered cut. $90.00 (service and tip) for Blairsville is top pay for a cut and it was not worth it. Better off going to Nevaeh or Avant Apres. read more

She shampooed my hair with a nice scalp massage and cut my hair to perfection. It gave me the boost of confidence I needed. read more

I went to Foil and Gloss in Blairsville for the first time and LOVED IT. The salon is beautiful and uses high end products (Oribe) . I saw Jesse, and got the best highlights and haircut Ive ever had. Im older and afraid to try something difference, and Jesse suggested a little shorter and stylish cut. I am finally happy with my cut, and my color. Jesse has an amazing personality and it very professional. She really knows color and did a nice color correction on my hair.
