Foil & Gloss is the best in Blairsville. Excellent service, best training with best products! As good or even better than the Atlanta Salons. If you have specialty hair that doesn't respond to normal treatments, or curly hair, Foil and Gloss and especially Valerie, are the cream a la creame in our little mountain area. read more

After several appointments with pleasing results with Valerie at Foil & Gloss, I must say I was very shocked to be informed today that I would be charged for my appointment scheduled for tomorrow (even if I rescheduled). Once I realized I had a medical appointment conflict, I called to "reschedule" within 22 hrs and 30 minutes of my scheduled appointment. In this life things do happen that can conflict with scheduling. When a business doesn't show flexibility with a good, routine customer, then it's time to look for better customer service! read more

I found a fantastic salon in the mountains that feels as nice as the ones in big cities! My friend recommended me to this place and I chose Valerie to be my stylist. The great thing about Valerie is that she listens to exactly what you want-I ended up wanting to try a new style for myself-risky, if you don't know your stylist, but Valerie not only listened, she delivered! I will be back and I highly recommend! Bonus-this salon carries Oribe hair care products! read more

From my previous review I have to say they've redeemed themselves, I made an appointment with James instead of Jesse because of what happened last time. James is a great guy , great hairstylist and a genuine good person, cuts great hair and is great to talk too, however his title as a master hairstylist means your going to pay more for the cut. Now, I'm just recently divorced, bought a house, Im living on half my salary so I have to be careful how I spend my money, James charges $40:for a haircut and it's well worth it unless you know you can get about the same cut from a barber or a different hairstylist. I know of two that do it for $20 I just have to travel to Ellijay, 40 miles away, but I may have too. Now remember that the price of the haircut does not include a tip, which I give $10, so now the haircut is $50, I promised myself a while back that I would not pay $50 for a haircut, I will have to go back to Barb who is a master stylist but only charges $20 The shop was great, the owner was there, everything went smoothly and if you're willing or able to pay $40 for a haircut then you should go there. read more

Hi, I have greyish white hair and I wanted to boost it a little and have some darker color streaked through kind of like a salt and pepper look , well one salon I went to did such a bad job that I had to wear a baseball cap for a week until I found Foil and Gloss Salon in Blairsville Ga. I have to say Jesse did a fantastic job in correcting this problem it took 2 trips 1 week apart but then results were just what I was looking for, the person who did the work on me is Jesse, she is phenomenal if you need any corrective hair color work done because someone messed you up I would highly recommend you see Jesse at Foil and Gloss you won't regret it! Jesse is a true professional in the hair industry she took her time with me explained what needed to be done and it turned out great I'm glad I found Foil and Gloss hey will be my new hair salon for sure. This was a 911 emergency hair job and she made me look like a rock star! read more

Very expensive. I was shocked to be charged $80 for a simple haircut. I called the owner and she was rude about it. She said they do fine with their pricing. Obviously she did not need to keep me as a customer. read more

After 2 visits, I have to say that they may be known for coloring hair but not cutting. Went to Valerie, impressive resume,$70.00 for a basic cut, but it was not want I wanted. I left looking good, but she cut it to her styling. I wanted simply a layered cut from top to bottom. Second visit with Chloee. Booked online, fee was $50.00 online but she charged $70.00. Not a master stylist and she too could not do a simple layered cut. $90.00 (service and tip) for Blairsville is top pay for a cut and it was not worth it. Better off going to Nevaeh or Avant Apres. read more

I went to Foil and Gloss in Blairsville for the first time and LOVED IT. The salon is beautiful and uses high end products (Oribe) . I saw Jesse, and got the best highlights and haircut Ive ever had. Im older and afraid to try something difference, and Jesse suggested a little shorter and stylish cut. I am finally happy with my cut, and my color. Jesse has an amazing personality and it very professional. She really knows color and did a nice color correction on my hair. Cant wait to go back as she gave me the most amazing massage during the shampoo! read more
