Went into the Blue Ridge Barber Shop today for a well needed haircut. Have not been in since they changed from Brown's Barber Shop. I was greeted by Butch who introduced himself and offered to cut my hair. The place looks really nice, updated and friendly. Butch did a great job and even wrote down what he did on my file for the next time. First time anyone has done this and it makes a lot of sense! This was one of my best haircuts I must say, and I'll continue to go see him next time I need another haircut. Highly recommend this barber shop! read more

Sat waiting for almost an hour people kept just walking in and as they did the barbers just kept taking the people the have as regular rather than in order of who came in that's terrible business to make some one wait that long for a cut I get wait times but come one that's the worst way to run a business read more

Went there on a recommendation from a neighbor as I just moved here a few months ago. The place is busy, apparently you need to make an appointment if you want to see a specific barber. I didn't, as I just wanted a basic haircut. Nice job and happy with the results, considering I'm thinning quite a bit, so there's not a whole lot to work with these days. However, I was taken back by the pricing. Especially considering this is just a small town and not a big city. These are just guys getting a haircut at a barbershop not some salon. I guess the good ol' fashioned shop I've been going to the last six years was quite a bargain. This place was about 50% more. Fortunately I can visit friends and see my prior barber in the future. I'm not bashing this place, as they do a great job, but again, it's just us ol' guys getting a simple haircut. read more

I've been going to other shops in town , which were fine ! I found out that Butch had opened his own new shop so I would give it a try. Must admit it is to me the best I've been to and he does a great job each time. We men are very funny about getting our hair cut and he makes you feel right at home. This is why I come here and live in the mountains, it's not like being in big city, I use to tell folks it's like Mayberry and now Butch can be Floyd!
