I recently purchased a canopy at the Dearborn Heights, MI store and upon setting up for the first time, the corner seam ripped. When I worked for Dunham's we would have returned the defective product and dealt with the mfr. Now Dunham's just hands you (the customer) a phone number and says good luck dealing with the mfr. In today's customer centric retail world, that is not acceptable. If this is how Dunham's chooses to treat customers, I fear they are not going to remain competitive.

Honestly I would have changed my previous review to five stars if it was based solely on the interaction with the cashier. He was kind, helpful, competent & went above & beyond to assist me in returning a sweater I had gotten as a gift. I.n order to refund me he needed a manager override. He paged the manager twice. Mind you, there was literally two people in the place. After waiting for 20 minutes for the manager to make an appearance, the manager strolls out from what I assume is the front office casuallu strolls out with zero shards of urgency. He says nothing to me not his employee (rude as hell on both accounts) & punches his number in before strolling away. No "sorry for the wait!" Or "thank you!" To his employee. Just despicable. No wonder this place is going out of business!

This was a terrible experience at the Westland MI Rally House. I was purchasing a light weight…read moreDetroit Lions hoodie for my son's bday. The price on the ticket attached to the hoodie was 56.99. When I was cashing out the cashier and I noticed immediately that the total was too high. She asked a co-worker about it. He was rude and said the register price would be the correct one. He was rude and condescending. They didn't bother to check all the other hoodies that were the same ones that I originally wanted to purchase. The female cashier was very polite. However due to the attitude of the male employee, I will never go back. I was not the one that made the error. The price tag on the hoodie was attached. Not a good experience at all. Try someplace else. Watch your total on your purchases at this location. They don't care.
