***EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL*** The Owner O'Neil is an honest mechanic. Very few of them out there nowadays but this guy you can definitely count on. He reached out to me via text messaging right away after consulting on Yelp regarding my A/C car problem. He helped me troubleshoot so much that I could've fixed the issue myself but I had him diagnose the car just to be sure. Few hours later he came up with the diagnosis. Come to find out I have too much gap on my A/C compressor clutch. I took the car home and removed some shims and sure enough. Now the A/C works great. O'Neal could've easily charged me a couple of hundred bucks for an easy 30 minute job but he was honest to say that it's best if I remove the shims myself since he knows I'm capable of doing so. I highly recommend O'Neil and his business Precision Auto and I'm definitely coming back to him for future repairs. read more

If you see the 5 stars and have any doubts; they're worth it. Trust me. Immediately their 2, 4 legged, security guards perform a pat down ensuring the safety of the establishment. Entertainment is then provided by the puppy and her rambunctious self. All while the gentleman that work here provide an experience which encourages honor, integrity, and the ability to learn. I'd definitely recommend this shop, before any, to anyone in need of services. read more

Awesome advice and service from these guys! They did not try and lead me down a "rabbits hole" which is hard to find with repair shops. They advised me very well and ensured unnecessary troubleshooting ($) was not absorbed. Highly recommended and definitely my "Go To Shop" going forward! read more

I have a 10 years old diesel SUV starting to have problems. The check engine lights was on. I took it to dealer service and spent couple hundred to diagnose. Dealer service tech came back and told me one of the glow plugs needed to be replaced and it would cost around $3500. That is really outrageous. So I went to Yelp to search around and found precision auto. They were pretty honest, they also suggest changing all six glow plugs, but also giving me option of price to change only one. The price is very reasonable and they also found other problems and gave me discount for labor. I am pretty happy and will use them again for my old read more

Dependable, trustworthy, prompt, and fair pricing. I've been going to O'Neil for a few years. Even after moving to north county, I still make the drive when I can because it's worth it. I know I can trust him and his crew to give me honest estimates and finish the work in a timely manner. FYEL HAS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND COMMUNICATES WITH ME DURING THE PROCESS TO MAKE SURE PRIORITIES ARE TAKEN CARE OF. And the two puppers greeting me at the door is always a nice experience. read more

Best repair car shop ever . O'Neill is the mechanic and he is 100% awesome . I don't know too much bout cars , but O'Neill is very helpful in explaining the issues with our cars that we have had repaired at his shop . He's never taken advantage of us not knowing and pile on repairs that was not necessary ( which a lot of places has) specially when they know you don't know about cars . I highly recommend Prestige to everyone . Thank you for great customer service . read more

Oneill is a really good dude. Called him based on "Open Now" search via google. I took my '02 Lincoln LS in near the end of the day when five other places did not want to see me because it was around 4:45. Precision Auto was available when no one else responded and even provided a flat fee offer for diagnosis. Then they provided options for repair to allow me to get the desired outcome at lower cost than the standard. They were prompt in their diagnosis & in the repair. I couldn't find anyone to take a look at a check engine light on my truck without a 6 week wait. Precision auto was able to squeeze me in to an already busy schedule. Most places gave me the run around when I called, but after giving them the code I had over the phone, they spent five minutes explaining what the code was and if it needed to be seen immediately or could wait. They were honest and responded promptly if I had any questions. The price was fair and service was excellent. I will be taking both my vehicles here for routine maintenance from here on out. read more

I brought my 2015 Range Rover to several British garages in San Diego because of recurring clunking noises in the front suspension. The other garages mentioned various issues like struts and ball joints. Fortunately, I discovered O'Neil on Yelp and decided to take my car to him. He quickly identified the issue as a sway bar link, and I was impressed by his honesty and professionalism. Special thanks to the service advisor, Julio, who was also very pleasant to work with. If you are looking for honest, affordable, quality work, I highly recommend you check out Precision Auto. After my experience today, they have become my go-to mechanic shop. Here's why - I had installed new brakes shoes and parking brake cable. Unfortunately the emergency brake didn't hold my car in place, and on top of that my car started making an awful scraping sound. After many failed attempts to diagnose the problem myself, I decided to finally have a mechanic take over. This is when I called Precision Auto, per my brother's recommendation. ONeil answered right away and gave me a quote and appointment over the phone. I showed up for my appointment, and after a free inspection he got right to work. He handled my car with immense care. I was curious as to what I had done wrong, so walked me through everything he had done. He corrected a few mistakes I had made when installing the shoe springs. After disassembling the entire shoe (a tedious, annoy feat in and of itself), he caught a major error I had made - installing a bolt backwards. The bolt was jutting out and interfering with the brake shoes' ability to open and close. After reinstalling the bolt properly, he worked diligently to adjust the brake shoes and parking brake cable. We tested the parking brake on a steep driveway and my car finally held! He then worked on addressing the scraping sound. There were no obvious reasons, but using his extensive mechanic experience, he deduced that the sound was coming from the rotors scraping the dust shields. He corrected this by gently reshaping and sanding the dust shields. After reassembling everything, the concerning sound was gone! All in all, this has been the best mechanic experience I've ever had. ONeil was patient and informative, taking the time to address each and every one of my questions. He treated me with respect; this is something I value tremendously as a woman who has had several patronizing mechanic experiences. And lastly, his prices are absolutely unbeatable for the quality of work he performs. Thanks again, ONeil! read more

I've been coming to this shop for a couple years now. The owner is ethical, trustworthy, bright and highly skilled. No job too big or small as he prefers to build relationships not transactions. What he's best at is quickly diagnosing the problem accurately. It saves a lot of time. Also, this place is cheaper than most. If you're tired of not having a "go to" mechanic, look no further. read more

O'Neil at Precision Auto is awesome! He got me in very fast for a brake pad job. I was in and out within an hour. I don't like leaving my car at places, I'd rather wait. He's a young business man with a lot of knowledge. Very respectful. read more

The owner of the shop is an awesome guy , real honest and responsive. Will make sure you leave with your car in good shape and everything you ask to get fix he will try and try until it's solved. First time I took it he checked my truck out , I was having problems with it and the problem was sporadic so when I brought the truck to him it had resolved itself I guess but he was kind and honest about it. Gave me advice on the truck and I was on my way. Then i brought my Avalon to him and he did an awesome job on the struts and fixed my check engine problem. He was super responsive and kind as always . I highly recommend him and hope his shop the best ! read more

I was referred to Oneil by a close friend and have been super happy with my visits thus far. He's a very trustworthy and straightforward mechanic (which is tough to come by nowadays). Another big plus is that he's very transparent about what repairs must be done, and what can wait without applying any sort of pressure. Extremely fair pricing and quality parts. Precision Auto is a gem for sure! read more
