I cannot believe that this company gets away with its business practices. i ordered 3 men - they showed up with 4 and would not reduce the number or the extra charge. They spent 3 hours wrapping furniture which was completely unnecessary as the furniture was not expensive and this resulted in my belongings not fitting in their moving truck. Notwithstanding the ridiculous wrapping, they still managed to break things. The owner, Jake Polzin, spent the entire time screaming at his employees and deriding them. And insulting me. This is the worst moving company I have ever had the misfortune to hire. read more

I was satisfied with the care taken with my things, but the owner was abrasive and overcharged for his services. I had a 2 bedroom suite with a moderate amount of furniture, and was told they do not come out to do estimates and would charge $140 for 3 men. When he brought along 4 men, I was charged $195./hour. No choice. He charged for 10 hours when he and his men worked for 8 hours with 20 min driving time from their site to my location. When trying to discuss my concerns with the cost twice, I was yelled at over the phone. Their costs are far above average. The owner is a bully. read more

I hired Precisely Right to move a piano that was given to me. Another company told me that it would take an hour or so, but they only had two people. Precisely Right uses three, and though they have a 2 hour minimum, I thought I would go this way. I expected to pay about $300. I was very happy with the move and the service, but the cost was far more than I expected. They told me they charged to and from the yard, but they did not tell me that it was an arbitrary half hour each way (not true time, as they are located just minutes from the pick up point.) I was also not prepared for an extra "materials" fee. These combined costs worked out to be about two hundred bucks! Though they did move an armoire downstairs for me as well, my total bill was over $540.00, quite substantially more than the $200 I would have paid with the other company that a friend used. Wes Y. I had Precisely Right unload a 16 foot storage container jammed with furniture, almost every item was wrapped with blankets and handle with the utmost of care. All 3 gentlemen were very professional and great to deal with. They took my furniture to Sicamous and checked out the house layout to now lay down runners at all of the area's that furniture had to be taken. Again unloading was very quick and all items handled with care. My hat off to all 3 gentlemen, I would recommend Precisely Right Moving again in a heart beat. Job well done. read more

Not impressed!!! Moving is such a stressful experience , and it was the hardest experience of my life to move from a home I loved of almost 20 years. I had various estimates, and was trying to be smart and organised, to help reduce my stress. When I called Precisely Right,they seemed friendly and helpful, and the moving date I needed for the 11th or 12th for moving and storage were available. But I found out that the date to move might be extended beyond the 12th, and so I called Precisely Right to inform them of a possible extended change in the date. I asked if I should come in with the $1,000, to secure their service. But I was told to wait to put down the deposit of $1,000 until I knew the exact date, because they were wide open , nothing was scheduled for the 11th or 12th and I didn't need to worry. I was told they would take note to expect my call when I knew for sure what the date was, they had my information and for me not to worry. What I thought was good communication, and kindness, wasn't. When I did call them back with the exact move date,needed for the 11th, they were all booked up! I was told I didn't put down the $1,000 deposit, so they couldn't hold it for me, and they were sorry but couldn't help with moving or storage. I was left stressed, panicked and frantically trying to locate a moving company at the last moment because I thought I had one!!! I have to give one star to post my review, but in my opinion: No service...No stars!!! read more

I hired them to move my house. They showed up with four of them including the owner of the company. He spent about 1/2 hour looking around the house while his boys were unloading the truck. I explained that I had a few last things to do and that I would be leaving with my children to allow them to move the house. I came back over an hour later and the Jake was yelling profanities at his workers, and I found the owner watching the boys downstairs out the window. So at this time was just about two hours into the job and the entire house was still full and all of the furniture with the exception of one bed was still in tact. He started a conversation with me and was aggressive and yelling at me. He asked me to sign a contract and then never gave me a copy of it. He followed me around the house, threatened to charge my credit card without my consent, and was trying to charge me 15 hours to move a four bed house which would have come out to more than 3000.00. I had to students help me and we managed to move with my four children in ten hours, a total of 850.00. He's now kept my stuff, charging me double what I offered him just to get off my property. I ended up having to call the police and he drove away with the back of his truck open and nearly had one of the men working for him fall off the back of the truck. This man tried to take advantage of me and assaulted me in the process. Still refuses to return my property without charging me double the money, and would NEVER recommend anyone to hire him. read more

I called several Kelowna moving companies to help my mom move. Precisely Right was the best at getting back promptly, they were friendly and super professional. Their price included all costs such as fuel charges and insurance etc that most companies surprise you with at the end - I really appreciated the simplicity and straight forwardness of that kind of quote. We were super happy with Precisely Right, they were amazing at moving a lot of stuff including antiques and other fragile items, and everything arrived and was reassembled in good condition. I was super happy that we chose Precisely Right and definitely would choose them again for any move in the Okanagan. read more

I moved from Rutland to Casorso and decided to use Precisely Right. All they were asked to move was a 3 part wall unit, 2 beds and a freezer. They seemed disappointed that it was all they were moving. For some reason they decided to move everything outside of our condo to the elevator and let it pile up. Then one by one they took each piece nice and slow down the three floor elevator. The price ended up being over $700, yet when I used them previously two years earlier the cost was only 800 when I moved from Westbank into Rutland and they moved everything that time. These guys just seem like legal crooks. They have hidden fees and charges, and move at a snails pace when not asked to take a full load. Plan on moving shortly, I will definitely NOT use them again. read more

I would never recommend this company. We moved within the city, and rather than taking the time to see our place and furniture, they felt they could take a description over the phone and give us a quote. In the end they were not able to move everything in one day, which could have been a disaster if we hadn't given ourselves a few days between possession dates. As you can imagine, the price was much higher than estimated as well. The worst part was the treatment of our furniture and belongings. When it was all unpacked a lamp vanished - we assume broken and not disclosed. Rather than removing drawers they simply "saran wrapped" our furniture and moved it. The drawer contents were completely mixed up and everything traveled out of the drawers (did they turn them upside down??) I finally located a "lost" ipod over a year later after taking all of the drawers out - it was loose in the bottom. Terrible and unprofessional service. read more
