Every time I've reached out with simple questions, including outside of tax season, I've been met with a response like I'm bothering them and I'm inconveniencing them by asking about part of my tax return. I've asked about a possible number mixup on my 1040, and she replied back on the phone with a sigh and "just letting you know, you're not my only client. It's not my job to know your numbers". WHAT? What type of CPA says that to a client? I found out they never filed my taxes after paying the ridiculous fee and signing the e-file authorization, and when I asked why the IRS has no record of anything being filed, they replied back with, "IDK, call the IRS". Charging $450 for personal taxes is a ripoff. They're painfully expensive for the quality of service you receive. Her firm does the absolute bare minimum for you to prepare them (incorrectly, might I add, and then if you ask them about it, be prepared to be met with a sense of you inconveniencing them for doing the job you're paying them to do.) PLEASE AVOID! There are so many more professional CPA's out there in MontCo than Kathy. she's the worst.

Beware of this Payroll company. They are dishonest and only want your money! We changed to them…read moreunfortunately from one of the bigger companies for customer service issues and were quoted a low price, however after signing up we realized that that lower price did not include some of the service we spoke about with the account rep whom set us up, even though we specifically requested these services. We were told they were extra services and we were charged extra indeed. $20 more per pay period than initially quoted. When I tried to receive a better quote I was told the owner of the company would call me back, he did but only to receive my voice mail at which I then proceeded to return his call twice and never heard back from him again. No one at the company tried to rectify the situation so we canceled services. After which I need a report which we had already paid for but they would not grant me access any longer to there site to print this off because we canceled our services, which actually we hadn't even yet done that. We just did not run a payroll with them that scheduled Wednesday, which it isn't unknown to run a payroll a day late, we've done it before, yet we were locked out Thursday before even giving notice that we were cancelling. the reason we were given for the lock out is that we didn't run our payroll that week! And we were told we could have the reports we needed if we agreed to stay! Ok we'll stay now that you've realized we want to leave cause you've been ignoring our pricing issues for months. Bad business, stay away from Exact payroll. If anyone tells you a smaller company is better they are wrong! In the end Exact did not value our business, there is a reason the BIG companies stay around and they will be out of business soon I'm sure!
