So when it came time to renew our auto & homeowners we compared prices and he was able to save us another $900 per year from our previous Insurance Company with more over all coverage for our home which is so important. Eric is so honest and up front and definitely will look after your best interest without trying to push un-neccessary coverage. More important when you call him he's there to answer any and all questions. So I did what any modern researcher would do: Turn to social media for answers! In response to a Facebook post, it was recommended that I give Tiffani of Gardena General Insurance a call. Working with an agent is really cool because they will shop around for rates for you, they will explain and educate you in all that confusing insurance policy lingo, they will help you decide the best coverage for you, and they will deal with the insurance company for you. I like it better than speaking with the insurance companies directly because I always felt like the insurance company is just trying to make a sale rather than being mindful of my specific needs and budget. It used to stress me out. But when Tiffani entered the picture, she made this whole process seem easy peasy! She got me the exact coverage I wanted at the rate I was willing to pay. Sweet! Here's another perk: If my coverage rate increases in the future, I can give Tiffani a call and she'll deal with the insurance company to investigate and possibly prevent the increase if she can. I was a long standing Allstate senior customer (since 2006) but my car insurance went up almost $75…read moreand I wanted to see if there was anything we could do to lower the monthly rate of $245 per month; $1615.25 for 6 months; my car is 3 years old and and have 15,888 miles on my car; I was concerned so I called and emailed this office several times and not one person ever returned my call or email. Let me back up by stating that upon calling this office it went to a call center first and the call center had to transfer me to the CA office that is probably 10-15 miles from me if that. I ended up leaving voice messages and not receiving any replies. In my search of quotes with Allstate competitors I found a local and "live" friendly customer service person that gave me a very decent quote that saved me over $300 per six months for the exact same full coverage that I had with Allstate and they even gave me $50 per day for car rental service instead of $40 from Allstate. I decided to go with the competitor insurance company; it made me nervous but the wonderful insurance agent Kim reassured me that she would give me time to think it over and called me the next day to see if I was comfortable with the change. I went with it and and she assisted with the cancellation via conference call with Allstate. By the end of the day, the Allstate office called me and was replying to my messages as my last message stated I would be looking elsewhere for car insurance. The cancellation was completed and as I was explaining to her why I searched for another company the insurance agent hung up on me. If this office is transitioning to a remote call center, I do prefer live agents and thorough detail with great customer service! I did find it and am glad I did!
