Their comprehensive in-house design and build approach was unlike that of other contractors, and their cooperative communication was instrumental in developing and meeting our expectations. They made understanding us and our house equal priorities. They educated us about the condition of the house, brought in an engineer, and designed projects around improving and reinforcing the house. They found and corrected issues created by the house's original builder. They work well coordinating their work with other contractors. With one exception, there were no call-backs. A minor installation error discovered years later was cheerfully and promptly fixed as a warranty item, a reflection on their commitment to their clients. When it came time to sell the house, the quality of their work was a strong draw for the buyers. It drew a crowd. They exemplify how a great team can accomplish great results!

Zach is such a great person and updated my kitchen to a WOW kitchen! The issues he had to deal with were not a burden to him...he always found a way around to make sure everything worked...EVEN going above and beyond what I contracted him to do! Zach and his team worked within my budget, showed up every day, did perfect work, had incredible patience and transformed my kitchen (Flooring, edging, on top of cabinets. Will be doing the countertops and sink area soon) and bedroom into gorgeous spaces...YES, all within my budget. Zach, the owner is there every step of the way. In fact, in my review I stated that all I asked for was the curtesy to let me know you'd decided you were no longer interested in the job. I left a voicemail, asking if you'd decided not to do it. It would not have required you to drop anything to take less than 30 seconds to reply to the text I had sent with the photos and say you were no longer interested. That would have demonstrated a level of professionalism and common courtesy that should be a cornerstone of your business. Instead, you decide to respond to this review three years later with a passive-aggressive reply that only serves to make you look incredibly unprofessional. No part of my review was unreasonable, and the resolution that I said I hoped for was completely fair. Sending a text message would not have endangered your life or your health, but it would have gone a long way to showing that you're a decent person who cares about doing right by people, even when you aren't going to take the job.

She continually kept us informed as the building progressed. Jason and his helper displayed their craftmanship with their 12+ years experience. The building inspector found no flaws in their work. We now have decks to enjoy for many years to come. We were not disappointed and neither will you!

I cannot recommend Roycroft Contracting LLC due to breach of contract, severe project delays, and…read moreunprofessional conduct regarding a deck and roof installation contracted in August 2025. The project, quoted as a 7-10 day job, began late and stretched to 45 days. This was due to the contractor's consistent failure to appear for work and a complete lack of proactive communication. We were forced to constantly contact them for status updates. On November 17, our township issued a "Stop Work" order because Roycroft failed to secure the necessary building permit, a clear breach of our contract. They initially blamed a subcontractor and delayed the project for another nine days until a permit was approved. The subsequently revised contract completion date of December 3 was also missed. Following this, the deck failed its inspection on December 9 due to faulty workmanship. Roycroft missed the scheduled repair date and then unprofessionally demanded final payment before the work had passed a re-inspection. After the deck finally passed inspection on December 15, Roycroft again demanded immediate payment and instructed me to retrieve the final permit paperwork myself. They have abandoned the permitting portion for the roof and we are now stuck working with their subcontractor to finish the job. We have been left with an incomplete project and a property littered with construction debris. Roycroft's conduct was unprofessional, their communication was unacceptable, and their disregard for the contract was blatant. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone looking to deal with professionalism, timeliness or respect. The craftmanship was good, after meeting code; the overall experience was less than satisfactory.

Three weeks later, still nothing. I followed up with the salesman who said, "Apparently [the owner] isn't interested..."

They also replace all the soffit, facia, gutters and downspouts. They were very professional and completed the work in a timely fashion even though they were dealing with heavy rains and extreme heat for 3 weeks. When the project was completed, I submitted a punch list of minor touch-ups and they were there the next morning to complete every item on my list. I would highly recommend them to do any remodeling work and in fact will be using them again for the next phase of our remodeling.
