I will happily hire him again when I'm ready to do the entryway fireplace.

Lawsuit filed in Washington County, PA Court. This couple's response is to ignore letters from our attorney served on them by Sheriff. Save yourself the heartache and the money by finding yourself a reputable contractor that gives you a real contract to sign and stands by their work. Don't believe "Upscale Tile / ArtistiK Tile" website that they really care because they really do not. Their emailed offer last year to "replace a few tiles and regrout" was hardly enough to fix the mess they made of my brand new kitchen. (See pictures I posted.). Had three separate contractors come to give written estimates indicating the stone cannot be repaired without cracking and entire large kitchen backsplash plus wallboard must be replaced (or completely sanded down!) at considerable cost to us. Even have statement from the stone tile manufacturer that it is an installation error after this guy tried to blame his crooked installation on tile defects. ORIGINAL POST: Awful backsplash installation in our brand new house in summer 2016. We are just sick...everyone that sees it is horrified. Had to hire an attorney. Don't trust any 5 star reviews on this tile business as they are written by owner's relatives/in laws... And this is the guy I'm paying to remodel my bathroom? Seriously? He says one thing and does another, and then berates you, the customer, in your own home. I felt like I was constantly being lied to and manipulated. The guy has no sense of ethics or conscience. Having him start months later than he said he would, take months longer than he said he would, tell me he'll be there on a given day and then yell at me when he gets confused, charge me thousands more than he said he would, do shoddy work, and make being in my own home extremely stressful and uncomfortable was just an awful experience. He was only in it to rip me off and didn't care about the quality of work (very poor; he damaged several bathroom installation pieces, and pretty much everything is crooked). He didn't care about honoring the contract (which he didn't). And he didn't care whether he finished -- which he didn't. Bathroom "Solutions" is such an ironic name for his business since the whole experience was a nightmare full of problems. Now I have a semi-finished bathroom that I hate, done by a contractor that I hate more. You do not want to do business with this guy. And you definitely do not want him in your home.

Jason and his team renovated the whole basement by installing drywall, replacing the drop ceiling with a conventional ceiling and new lighting, and covering the entire floor with functional but attractive laminate. They went above and beyond to make sure we were involved in the design and satisfied with the results. In addition, they replaced our kitchen floor, which had some water damage, with beautiful ceramic tile to complement the existing quartz counters. This is the second major project Jason has done for us. He previously remodeled a bathroom for us, replacing all the fixtures and flooring, as well as installing a pocket door. We are very happy with all the work that was done and would highly recommend Building Buddies.

Filed complaint 2017 in Washington County, PA courthouse with details and pictures. Heartache as our house was brand (brand!) new and Kirk kept saying how great he was and meticulous. Instead I ended up with a crooked mess for a large backsplash which he tried to blame on "lighting". I've had 3 contractors in since to look at his work and they cannot believe what an uneven mess he made placing mesh tiles on wall. The walls of my kitchen need to be completely replaced now as his tile work could not be pulled off without majorly damaging walls. He offered to replace "a few tiles" but if you look at the pictures my lawyer took and included in the complaint it is easy to see ALL the tiles are crooked and his grouting is a complete mess. I encourage you: Read the complaint filed by my lawyer and look at the pictures before you use this guy who was referred to us by a high end tile company in Pittsburgh
