Brian was very professional and fair. I would definitely come back. Sold some of my scrap gold and silver jewelry.

I went to PMR not sure what expect after seeing their ads on tv. I had some items I needed to sell. I was met in the lobby by Brian and Edger. Professional is not enough to describe these 2 young men. I felt extremely at ease discussing my business transaction with them. I was treated with respect throughout my visit. Best of all though, above their expertise and service I was given a more than fair trade for my items! I left feeling very accomplished and would definitely recommend PMR to anyone thinking about trading in precious metals etc Thank you to both Brian and Edger for their service and professionalism! Well done. read more

From the beginning Zoe Zhang was very proffesional and informative. I wasnt sure what to expect because Ive never been to a refiner before. For those that might feel intimidated, give it a try. It also was fun to see which items of mine were worth anything, especially my old broken silver jewelry. Let's see, I also had a nice brooch that I was glad to not see melted for just the silver and they offered a fairly decent price. I know they need to make money too. I was surprised surprised they were going to take a small silver bowl that seemed to check out but later they decided that it wouldn't be in their best interest to take it. So be prepared for that possibility. It feels safe and private because you deal onw on one inside an office without prying ears. I was paid cash the items. Be prepared with an ID and a fingerprint ; they are helping to reduce fraud. read more

Precious Metals Refinery - Heirloom silver - Gold Buyers Near Me - San Diego, California

Recently, my sister helped me dig through all the assorted crap in my closet and I came across an ounce of silver that was given to me by my bestie's dad upon my graduation from high school. It was engraved with my name, my high school and year of graduation, and it was tarnished because at the time it was given to me, I couldn't resist touching it. It wasn't something I was particularly sentimental about and my sister decided we should try to sell it to a pawn shop. We kind of forgot about it but then one day we were driving around with nothing to do and she said let's go home and get that silver and sell it today. So naturally, I did what one would do and turn to Google for help. I asked the internets where I could sell silver in Clairemont. There used to be a pawn shop nearby but they closed. So I didn't know where to go. It sent us to PMR-Precious Metals in UTC. We were surprised to find ourselves at a fancy business complex and we felt out of sorts, jankily dressed as we were, but we followed the signs to the business on the second floor. We ended up in a shared office space situation and the friendly dude at the main desk called someone from PMR to see if they could meet with us. Now, in our defense, we thought we were going to be at a pawn shop, not a rather upscale-looking metals trading company. Nevertheless, we were greeted by the very friendly and kind Zoe, who invited us into her office despite having an appointment lined up with another customer due to arrive soon. Zoe was the bomb. She looked over our rather paltry item, consulted via phone with colleagues, and ended up offering us a price for our silver. Note- engraved pieces of bullion are less valuable than non-engraved ones, so keep that in mind. However, we were pleased to accept the price she offered. She was just so kind and welcoming and we were delighted by her customer service. We rifled through her candy stash and she also offered us beverages and a lesson in the buying/selling of precious metals and gems. Well, Zoe is the true gem of PMR! Thank you for your help and customer service!! A few notes- best to make an appointment with them before you randomly show up, to avoid having to wait. We got lucky. Also, we ended up paying $6 for parking which was a bummer and came out of our silver earnings, so be sure to ask if they validate parking. We just forgot to ask. Overall, PMR is top notch and Zoe is the diamond. I'll definitely bring any jewelry to them when I'm willing to part with my heirlooms! read more

I researched Precious Metals Refinery prior to making an appointment to sell a large quantity of sterling silver jewelry and all of the positive reviews were completely accurate. The manager Zoe was professional, transparent, and thoroughly explained the entire process. She brought in help to handle the large quantity of items and Brian and Casey were professional and friendly and helped expedite the process so it was completed in the alloted time. The office building was very beautiful and secure and had a welcoming atmosphere. I am very satisfied with the price I was offered for my silver and received a check right then and there once I accepted their no pressure offer. Making an appointment worked out well as I was called in almost immediately. I highly recommend Zoe, Casey, Brian and Precious Metals Refinery at Eastgate Mall in San Diego! read more

We had a good experience with Zoe Zhang at PMR. We brought in gold and silver and she was very transparent and taught us quite a bit. We went home with a nice size check. We did take some of our silver home with us because their offer was low due to everyone trying to sell silver right now. I recommend going here. read more

Great service! Zoe worked with us and provided us a really good experience. Definitely recommend

I had an outstanding experience at precious metals refinery. I was a little cautious as to how I would be treated as it was my first time getting an evaluation for jewelry, and I was extremely impressed with Zoe. She was meticulous, thorough, kind, and walked me through the process step-by-step. There was absolutely no pressure of any kind, and every single one of my questions was answered to my satisfaction. I will be going back. I highly recommend precious metals refinery, and particularly working with Zoe Zhang. It's on the second floor of the 4445 Eastgate Mall building. It's not immediately obvious where you go when you get to the second floor; there's a large room, you walk in and you'll see the name, PMR plus other businesses on the wall - there's a receptionist there who can help. Again, I can't tell you how pleased I was with the entire process. read more

I can't say enough about how helpful and accommodating Zoe Zhang was at Precious Metals Refinery in the Eastgate Mall location. I had a lot of heavy items and she went with me to the car to help me bring them up. Additionally ,she explained everything she was doing so I not only understood the process, I gained knowledge I never had before that I am sure will come in handy later.
