After hearing about this place from everyone and their mother as "the" club to be, this was disappointing:
1. 13 Euro Cover. Say WHAT? Not even the snobby clubs by the Opera charge this. Get on some guest list of whichever DJ you can.
2. Everyone looks like they just were admitted to the university next door and brought their younger brother.
3. Just a simple warehouse, not special in decoration or maintenance. Small dance floor downstairs, electronic music, speakers a bit too loud for some of the frequencies (can't believe I am saying that...). A little dance floor upstairs, more reggae ska and 90s. All DJs were good.
4. Free coat check (that is a great thing, seeing as that's not so usual in Vienna)
5. Smokey. Did not notice it so much when I was there, but next day the clothes still smelled enough that I questioned if they went out later without me for some chain smoking.
6. Drinks were way to pricey. Tap water and 1 nothing special beer: 4.50 Euros. That's at least 1 Euro too much. Plus its not impossible to get a drink, but you may have to push through.
7. People were friendly enough, made a few new buddies.... once they arrived. Anything before 2 am and I guess you could probably hear all the matches being lit up across the room for a cigarette since its so empty, although the electronic dance floor will be a bit full.
8. Toilets had paper and soap at 3 am. Was not too dirty. That's a big plus in Vienna.
9. Lots of taxis right outside, waiting.
Overall:
Expensive cover, expensive drinks, small dance floors, just plain warehouse without special deco nor special lighting, lots of smoke, far out from downtown (think about cab costs back). Good music, but you can find that closer in town for much cheaper. read more
