Bill misled him about what was being done, and when he tried to get answers, Glenn--the president--was condescending, dismissive, and refused to take any responsibility. He even implied my partner was lying. No receipts. No accountability. No functioning equipment. Just arrogance and blame-shifting. ZERO STARS IF WE COULD. SCAMMERS.

I don't normally leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about what happened to me at Kalscheur Implement in Cross Plains, WI. What started as a simple routine maintenance visit turned into nearly $2,000 in repairs, a mower that still doesn't work, and one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. I brought my mower in for basic service and spoke with Bill, the repairman, multiple times over a 2+ year period. The first time I brought it in for maintenance and Bill told me it needed extra work (including a new blade I never asked for). After multiple calls back and forth, he said the most I'd be charged was $1,200. I trusted him. I paid it. I used the mower THREE TIMES before it died again. Over a year later, I brought it back. This time I was told a mouse nest had destroyed the engine and it needed a full rebuild--which made zero sense after I had just paid $1,200 for full maintenance, included stuff that wasn't even broken. I was charged another $600+ and was verbally told the engine had been rebuilt and that they "gave me a price break" because of how much I'd already spent. I used the mower TWO TIMES after that. The very first mow of the new season, the engine jerked violently and fluid started leaking everywhere. I was sick to my stomach. At that point, I had paid almost $2,000 and used the mower FIVE TIMES total. The worst part? I was never once given an itemized invoice. Nothing emailed. Nothing handed to me. Just charges over the phone. So when I called and spoke to Glenn--the PRESIDENT--about everything that had happened, he immediately blamed me. He denied the work I was told was done, he dismissed my concerns, and he even implied I was lying. At one point he actually asked me: "Is this what you do? Do you do this a lot?"--as if I walk around looking for businesses to complain about. The arrogance of this guy is dumbfounding. He also told me they "don't do engine rebuilds," which means either I was lied to by Bill, or they took my money and didn't actually do the work. Either way, I'm out almost $2,000 and still have a broken mower. Glenn eventually said they'd send someone to pick up the mower just to "prove" it wasn't their fault. That was over a week ago. No call. No pickup. No follow-through. No accountability. So here I am: no mower, no invoices, no honesty, no help--just a business that took my money, left me with a broken machine, and treated me like the problem. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I was misled by the repairman, dismissed by the president, and left with nothing to show for it but a bill and a non-working mower. ZERO STARS IF I COULD. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. SCAMMERS!!
