We follow their facebook page for regular updates and particularly enjoy their posts. Recently, they had a table set up for dog parents to collect some treats for their furries and I thought it was a great idea! Their New year goodies and champagne setup was very cute! Their monthly newsletters are very informative and I love the swimming pool area. The maintenance is top-notch and very prompt. The management always reaches out after a maintenance call to check if everything was according to expectations. The community outdoors is maintained beautifully. The shrubs, trees, grass and pavements are all maintained quite well. We love walking around the community with our little puppy and she loves it too! One feature that's very noteworthy and probably never seen in any other apartment community is the presence of only one large trash compactor as compared to multiple overflowing trash cans. I love this because I don't like smelling trash while walking around. There's a wonderful trail all around the community and it's a great run or a walk when you want to experience the outdoors when not in the mood for hitting the gym especially during the pandemic. This is an amazing destination to call home and will be for a considerable amount of time. There is more cabinet space and storage space in our Savanna unit than all of our previous apartments combined. Plus, the prices feel extremely reasonable for everything you get 2. Community feeling is great. The apartments feel more like a neighborhood than apartments. We are always seeing people and chatting with people while walking our dog. The staff is the most welcoming we have ever experienced, and they truly care about the property and their tenants. 3. Maintenance - Our maintenance requests have always been handled quickly and the maintenance crew is very friendly and knowledgeable. 4. Amenities - The gym is the nicest apartment gym we have been in, and has plenty of equipment and space and is well taken care of. The pool area and lounge areas are also great and we used them multiple times this past summer. They also have a free power washer and vacuum for your car which we have never seen before and love. Con 1. There is only one con I have, but I know it is being worked on as we speak. They did not have an ability to do an application or sign documents online, so we had to be present to sign and my wife had to have hers notarized as we were moving from out of state. The location is very convenient and there is a wonderful park next to our complex for walking my dog. So easy to live here with a garage space for all residents and no other apartment above or below you. The office staff and the maintenance crew are amazing, they all want you to feel like Pinegate West is your home. At this time our complex has been going through some major work, new roofs, gutters and new siding is coming soon. Anyone that knows anything about this type of work understands there will always be some mess and inconvenience, but when it's all done the improvements will be worth the slight inconvenience.

The poster needs to give grace to the staff and workers doing their best to accommodate all residents and get the roads clear.....this was a BLIZZARD, with BLIZZARD reactions. It is not the intent of the Pinegate management to make your life miserable. The plow company, used by Pinegate had an unfortunate situation with 2 of their trucks....not uncommon in a weather situation such as this. it would have made zero sense to get out and plow anytime before the snow ended. But, I don't need to defend the plow company, or management, this was simply an act of God, a blizzard as we haven't seen in many, many years. To blast the complex, management or powers is not fair. It is 6:12pm, right now.....our maintenance men are still out cleaning off the snow. I'm sure they are cold, tired and hungry. Offer grace rather than blasting hateful comments. This is a great place to live, second to none. I'd say for as much snow and ice we've endured the past couple days, these photos are proof, this is the place to call home

I was familiar with Woodland Townhomes already, and it was not the first complex on my list for some of the reasons mentioned in previous reviews.......one narrow street thru the complex with MANY cars parked in the street, children playing in the street with complete oblivion to traffic, and mailboxes being blocked. After exhausting other options, I called Woodland and spoke to Patti. I scheduled an appointment to look at a 3BR and ended up with a 2BR after realizing the space I was getting would be sufficient. Patti was extremely pleasant and answered all my questions. Greg (property mgr) even popped into the office while I was there and was equally pleasant and helpful. I went ahead and gave a deposit with my application on the spot. On the Saturday I moved in, everything was as expected and the move-in packet and keys were left on the counter for me. Nice stainless appliances, fresh paint, and clean throughout. I completed my walk-thru the very next day with only trivial callouts. So far, I have had no issues. I believe that I set my expectations realistically, knowing that Woodland is nice, but not luxury. I absolutely appreciate that this is reflected in the more-than-reasonable rent amount compared to several other complexes in the area. Trash is included in the rent and other utilities are extremely reasonable. The location is excellent within a great school district with nearby shopping and dining. The walls are a bit thin at times and no washer/dryer was included, but that can be expected in almost any rental. Basically, you get what you pay for and I am completely satisfied and happy with my decision to live at Woodland Townhomes.

Absolutely loved living in these apartments. We lived in two different units over the course of…read morethree years. We made it a year in a one bedroom before upgrading to a one bedroom with a study. We only upgraded for the extra room and it had a concrete deck, which meant it was legal to use a grill. The office staff were nice, but sometimes bitchy. We had others complain to us more than we had complaints ourselves. Didn't have much need to ever talk to them aside from when they found the cat we were hiding. The maintenance staff were extremely nice and quick. We called in for stuff ranging from a broken dryer to water leaks/mold in the ceiling, and I can't recall it ever going past a day before they came out. The complex itself is made up of individual buildings of 12 units, all surrounded by trees. 6 units have a wooded view (which costs extra) and the other 6 face the parking lot. The top floor apartments have vaulted ceilings, which also cost extra. The complex is very well lit and feels secure. Most of the tenants seemed to be young professionals or med students. We had a police officer in our building and another in the building next to us. We received our deposit back after we moved to another unit and when we moved out of the complex. My wife even lit the counter on fire in the second unit, but I guess they didn't mind the burn marks. We even received our pet deposit back despite the fact that we didn't tell them we had a cat, and thus didn't pay pet rent for two years. The only complaint I can think of is that since it is a complex of young professionals and med students, there are a large number of douche bag tenants, but I can't blame Hillsborough for it. I would recommend a unit with a view of the pool for any lonely males in the Mission area. Complete skinfest in the summer.
