After we found the trees we were interested in buying, the staff member instructed us the store was going to run a free tree planting with purchase and it would start the next Monday. A very nice savings so we returned, marked the trees we wanted and they were put aside for a fall planting. Overall a pleasant experience with knowledgeable staff, competitive prices, and satisfied customers.

For some reason, she always thinks I am want something for free or discounted? I asked a question today about my daisies and her reply for all to hear was, "We do not guarantee or warrantee plants. I've ridden horses before, but I've never actually had to purchase all the individual items needed for one. We grabbed the things we knew, but once we got to the bits, ties, and all the other pieces, we quickly found ourselves asking, "Do we need this?" and "What's the proper name for that thing that connects to the other thing?" One of the customer service ladies asked if we needed help, and we told her we were looking for a low-port bit. She immediately said she knew exactly who we needed to talk to and introduced us to Kayla! Kayla was an absolute delight. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us find the remaining items we needed. What impressed me most was how much she cared about the comfort of our horse without ever even meeting him. She took the time to explain the differences between the different options, what would work best, and what would be most comfortable for him. We never felt rushed or like we were asking silly questions. Kayla is definitely the go-to person at The Mercantile for horse questions! The other team member who helped us was wonderful as well. We would absolutely recommend The Mercantile if you're looking for knowledgeable people, personal attention, and genuinely caring customer service. We left feeling much more confident about what we purchased--and knowing the actual names of a few more "things that connect to the things!"
