started to come here for laser hair removal (brazilian & underarms).. until i left, i did 6 sessions. didn't see much change at all - except for my underarms were not growing back as fast. the procedure was almost painless (personally) but got more painful as the sessions went on. each session, from the time i took my clothes off and hopped on the bed, was about 90 seconds. a few zaps here & there. heidi has a very unwelcoming attitude, even in the room, but i kept going back as the appointments were quick and i was in the building for literally less than 7 minutes. she sits at the desk with the receptionist, however neither of them greet you as you walk in the door, take your shoes off, and walk to the desk. super awkward. they stare at you while waiting for you to say the first word.. heidi will look at you stupidly and act like she doesn't know why you're there - even though i seen her once a month for half a year.
in december 2018 i went in for a regular session. i was 4 minutes late. the appointment slots are 15 minutes long and the procedure is less than 2 minutes so i expected nothing, maybe to pay a late fee but whatever. i walked in the door and apologized for being late.. then was told i couldn't get my laser done as i was late. i mentioned how quick the appointment was, not even 10 minutes (hardly 5) of the 15 booked and that by the time i got undressed and back out to the front to pay, it would be about 5 minutes - as it always has been, and heidi should know that the session could be done. she told me something could go wrong and that it would take her into her next appt. i asked when it was and she said "right now".. i said "no.. it's my appt right now".. she then mentioned that i was now "7 minutes late" and she couldn't risk it going into her other appointment. the receptionist tried to chime in with snarky comments.. about how heidi needs to be at the front desk for her next appt for "people who are /actually/ on time".. lastly i told heidi that we could have been in the room and doing the procedure and finishing it up by now. she told me it couldn't get done so i walked out - obviously. i do get that things can go wrong, but why are you expecting them to? heidi had 11 minutes to do a 2 minute job.
the next week i called the owner, tara, and told her about the situation. she agreed the laser session could get done, then proceeded to tell
me that it was the holiday season and everyone is under stress and to give heidi another chance. then she tells me she isn't making excuses for their customer service (???).. she offered me 10% discount (like $12) on my next session.
anyways - i went to another place to get my laser done and i have had amazing results. i went in january and have yet to go back for a touch up as it works way better, personally. i told my new laser technician my past experience and she told me has has had multiple clients come from prairie bliss as they either don't like the customer service, or because the laser isn't working for them. read more
