We had a great experience at our evening river boat cruise. The boat was spacious and beautiful. We were welcomed with champagne and smiles. Service was very curious, friendly and attentive. Live music really added more characters to the experience. The buffet was delicious. Not very fancy, but They had all the basics covered. Drinks for purchase on the boat was a bit pricey, especially for the none local produced drinks. But not unacceptable, especially after exchange rate with US dollar. The entire cruise lasted about several hours, and was truly enjoyable. Great value. Recommend to bring a jacket if you plan to hangout on the deck, since it does get windy when outside. Highly recommend by @winedinenvacay

We went on the Grand Bohemia and it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The lady working at the ticket booth spoke English so we were able to get clear answers to our questions. The ride itself was very smooth and lasted three hours. Food was 10/10, plenty of options if you're vegetarian and there were even a couple of vegan choices. The service is what brought the whole experience up a notch. Our waiters were extremely attentive, making sure our drinks were full at all times and clearing our plates as soon as we were done eating. It cost us about $55 per person. That's including the boat ride, drinks, live music, and unlimited food.

Dinner cruise on Saturday night for our party of five. We departed on the Lužnice for three hours and went down river, through a lock, further down, back through the lock and then up river before returning. The service was excellent, the ship rode smoothly and we enjoyed ourselves. Well worth the $100ish (which we paid through our hotel). I would definitely do this again. You have to meet Prague by boat, is a different scenario! It is a 50 minute ride, the boat is beautiful and you even have service on board for eating and drinking! The cost (15 euros) is pretty high but nothing you don't expect as a tourist to pay.

This was a ton of fun! I loved going under the Charles Bridge! The ride is about 90 minutes and they did serve drinks. There was no guide describing what you were seeing, but that was fine. The boats are at the end of Pariza a(Paris) Street. I bought the tickets the day before. That can be done at your hotel or at the booths atop the landing. Note: Karuna only to purchase.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS TOUR COMPANY!!! Prague Boats is unprofessional and highly unethical. They advertise a 2 hour Grand Cruise which they have on their brochure as going up and down the river through 8 bridges and seeing various sights. The actual trip went in circles around 2 bridges or the boat simply did not move. The company refused to offer a full refund stating that there was too much boat traffic going through the lock. An employee secretly admitted that the day cruises never go the full route because of traffic and that the company is fully aware of this! Prague Boats does care about customer satisfaction, customer service or offering a good tour! They only care about getting you on the boat and taking your MONEY!!! DO NOT GO! YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! The photo shows the people demanding a refund after the HORRIFIC BOAT CRUISE!

I had a chance to take a boat tour in Prague. In terms of the actual boat itself, it was relatively cozy and there really is something calming and charming when it comes to taking a nice little river tour during lunch time. The food on the boat was okay. Nothing particularly amazing and it was really 2-star quality IMO. A few of the dishes were decent but a lot of it felt like cafeteria food. But then again it is what it is. However the experience itself and the tour was a four star one. Average the meh food with the great boat ride and it's a solid 3 stars overall. Personally I think if you want to have a nice relaxing afternoon or evening and want to view Prague from a different point of view, taking a boat tour is actually a decent option. Considering how much I walked during my few days in that beautiful city, the boat tour turned out to be a much needed respite. It was cool to just sit back, relax and take in the views as opposed to walking around all day and having sore legs. I would say, do the boat tour if you're in the mood for something different and very visually stimulating. However, don't do it if the food is the main reason why you want to hop on the boat. You can do way better by picking a decent place to eat in the city before or after the trip.

Went on an evening dinner cruise with a group from work. We cruised in October so the weather was a bit cold so time outside taking in the views was either freezing or non-exultant. This boat is one of the traditional (inexpensive) day cruise boats. Inside first deck with open balcony style top deck. We arrived at a downtown ticket booth to exchange our vouchers for tickets. We were transported to the river boarding spot by Daniel who was kind and made sure everyone knew where to return after the cruise. We boarded to boat and got two tables close to each other for our big group of 11. The buffet was already out but we were asked not to eat for a while. Waiters came around taking drink orders. Drinks were not included in the price of the cruise. There were only 2 drink waiters for over 150 guests. This process took a while between languages, money type and lots of orders. They started the cruise and opened the buffet. Food was buffet food with rice, potatoes, salad, stew and chicken nuggets for the kids. Someone forgot to put the dish name labels out so it was anyone's guess what you were eating. There were two lines in the buffet but the food was different on each side so you were either reaching over or going to the live twice. The food was salty but otherwise flavorless. One dish smelled horrible - I didn't try it. Dessert was pathetic. The cruise itself was ok but as I saw other boats with windows for the ceiling I was wishing I was on those boats so I could stay inside and enjoy the warmth while eating instead of the cattle call buffet and the go in/out to take in the sights. We spent an hour sitting in the locks waiting for enough boats to rise the river. The actual distance traveled is quite short but the locks take the most time. Rather than go the cheaper buffet route - spend the money for the better boat and better food!! The views are the same from either kind of boat but you will enjoy a more upscale experience if you step up the quality of your trip.
We really liked it. We've done a number of river dinner cruises in a number of countries and this was among the best. The ticketing and boarding process was simple. We purchased on Viator. Then before boarding, we stopped at Prague Boats ticket office at pier 3A to pickup our tickets. A short walk to pier 1 and we boarded. This cruise was among the more expensive ones here in Prague, but it was also the highest rated. As we boarded, we were given flutes of Champagne and we took our window seat on the raised portion of the first deck. A server came by and took our drink order. Shortly after, a basket of bread was delivered and we were told the buffets were now open. The food - wow! Plenty of variety and tasty too. This was the best river cruise dinner buffet we've had and we've done about 6 of them around the world. They had an onboard entertainer that played music on an electronic piano and layer in the cruise, began singing while playing. He did amazing Queen and Elton John sets. We're happy we chose Prague boats for our Dinner Cruise. read more
Definitely worth doing. The tour takes you up and down the river while you marvel at the city's beautiful architecture. It also goes under the famous Charles Bridge. Highly recommend going to the 8 pm or later cruise as the buildings come alive with the city lights. Most people sit on the top level. They serve beverages and snacks including alcohol. They play soothing classical music which really adds to the experience. When the tour guide spoke we could hear her perfectly. Pro tip 1 - For the evening cruises, get there 20-30 minutes ahead and stand in line to get the best seats. Pro tip 2- Walking along the river is a treat in itself. There's a little bar with outside seatings. Happy Travels! read more
I booked a devils channel cruise through Get Your Guide after seeing the closed top sightseeing boat on their post. After sending us back and forth to multiple docks the cruise started boarding late, and once we realized the photo from Get Your Guide did not match the boat - there was no sun cover and it was a private luxury boat, we left and asked if we could be put on another tour or get a refund. They were able to get us on a closed top drinks cruise with nice large windows that left around the same time, however while we appreciated the effort, it really wasn't a tour but was more of a ferry style cruise. All in all, after our experience the honey and I both decided we'll be avoiding boat tours in the future. read more

A scam. In the tiny print, discovered after boarding, the "all inclusive" dinner doesn't include drinks, which are sold at unconscionable prices (many dollars per drink of soda or water, etc.). The ticket they give you upon boarding has a "100-euro fine" if you lose it. read more

Well if you're going for the food - bad idea. That was the only thing that gives this review a star less. The best part about the lunch cruises is the VIEW! You get to ride up, then back the river. You see both sides and it's very slow so you can get some great shots. The top wasn't overly crowded (maybe because it was warm) and we had a group of 30 and really had a great time. It's a buffet so you can pick what you want. If I did it again I'd eat somewhere good before and just go for the drinks and views. If I had a professional camera I could have really gotten some post card shots. The drinks are very expensive for Prague, but what do you expect? It's a giant ship floating down the river - it's not going to be a locals spot, or offer discounts. As long as you're realistic about these things, you'll have a good time. I accidentally booked the wrong day and they switched my reservation, no problem - they were easy to reach and spoke English. Was very pleased with this experience. read more

We took a dinner cruise on the Grand Bohemia and loved it. Admittedly, we thought we were going to be on a smaller, less nice boat, and we were extremely surprised when they said we were on the big one. As far as views go, the river gives some of the best. The bridge and castle light up beautifully. The food on the cruise was fantastic as well. There are plenty of options and everything is fantastic. Being nitpicky, I wish they had set up the food better. It becomes sort of a free for all and could use better organization. They just let everyone go at once and it becomes a crowded mess for the next hour. read more

Probably the worst experience. Terrible customer service. Not coming back. It is a shame that they don't seem to enjoy their job
Worst experience ever. Manager Suzanne does not care about anything except keeping the boat afloat. Find another boat. Sat me next to buffet saying it's a quiet table and then smirked at me. Food is brutal as well. This is a JOKE. GO ELSEWHERE. read more

Nice boat ride, but you have to hurry to grab your food before they run out. We purchased the Crystal Elite dinner tickets, they ran out of the roasted pork before we had a chance to have any. They substituted the lower ticket meat, and told us it was the same, which it wasn't. read more

Lovely September day in Prague. Got a deal from the Sandemans NewPrague walking tour for a 2hr boat tour of the Vltava river. It was a very pleasant boat ride and I would recommend as was a great was to see the beautiful city. The tour also included a cake and coffee, they also have a wider menu if you wanted to order alcohol or other food. Surprising good coffee for a boat but found the gingerbread very dry. Prague is such a gorgeous city I took many many pictures and was able to catch the sunset. Felt that commentary was missing and would have liked to know more of what I was seeing. Even a information sheet would have been helpful. read more

DISGUSTING TO THE BOAT ROOF We decided to go on a boat trip on Moldau river. We picked boat Grant Bohemia, whitch looked on outside very nice, but thats all the positives i got to say...the price was expensive as hell for what we got. Wet schnitzels, schampane with almost no bubbles and cold pasta. DISGUSTING!!! Definitly not worth a penny. 10/10 NOT recommand read more

We were given free tickets for the 2-hour "Grand Cruise" and thought, what the heck? Right. This was the most boring, uncomfortable and expensive 2 hours I can remember spending -- mild torture, really. First, the seats are rickety and thoroughly uncomfortable. There is no shade whatsoever, so we baked in a blazing sun the entire cruise (NOT moving more than we moved). Inside was suffocatingly stuffy, with all the windows closed. Beer was overpriced (70 Koruna for a small Pilsner) and service dreadfully slow. (You had to go downstairs and wait in line, belowdeck with no view.) Snacks were chips. Left the dock about 10 minutes late, cruised for 15 minutes (the entire time which my husband spent belowdeck buying beer), then stopped to queue up for the locks. 25 minutes, mostly spent hemmed in the locks with no view (but the SUN still blazing down) and we were finally free to cruise down about another 12 minutes to Visyhrad. At least we waited for our return 20 minutes in the locks on the way back in a spot with some view. No commentary about the scenery. No music. The river is a freeway of identical boats making their run and occasionally scaring you out of your chair with entirely uneccessary fog horns. So the "2-hour" cruise really involved only about 45 minutes of actual "cruising" and the rest waiting, waiting, waiting in the blazing sun on torture rack chairs with our warm beers. While the different perspective of the sights IS lovely, the very short time you actually get to enjoy them is far outweighed by the discomforts. We have taken other cruises in other cities (even gone through locks) that were 1000 times more enjoyable. What a ripoff. read more
This was a nice boat, a nice crew, a beautiful view...but the one hour tour is just not worth the price. It does a small loop and it's over before you know it. The views and chance for pictures of the Charles Bridge is, of course, lovely, but it's just not worth the cost. Do a longer tour, or one that includes a perk or something like drinks or music. read more

If I could give this boat tour zero stars I would. DO NOT GET ON THIS BOAT. We got on a two hour boat ride from 4:30-6:30pm, and somehow there were some delay. Instead of taking us back, they hitched another boat to our boat to set up for dinner. Literally, holding us hostage. We only had a short time in Prague. This experience totally ruined our visit in Prague. It took 30 minutes to load food. read more
Not super expensive but overall just an OK experience... Felt very much like they were just trying to do the most direct economically cheap way to get as many tors as they could on the boat and the actual tour was not all that informative and would go through a list of tons of different languages so only about 1/5 of the talking was in my language Also I went on an evening cruise and the roof above where you is very low and blocks a lot of the view and the bright lights they put on kind of a contrast with the views Drink service was good though a Jamison on the ice was about $4.70 USD I don't feel I got ripped off but I'm just not sure if I would do it again My boat tours in Budapest and Paris were better read more

Had a lovely time on the 1 hour tour, which took a loop around the main part of the river. It was a weekday afternoon, so the boat was relatively quiet. With the ticket I had purchased, I got a free drink and dessert, but was able to order a few other things. The cake was nothing to write home about, but being able to enjoy a glass of wine at a quiet table, and getting a riverside view of Prague was fantastic. I visited in early April, so while it was chilly outside, once on the boat, the sun hitting the glass covering made the first fifteen minutes of the boat ride incredibly uncomfortable. But, it didn't take long for them to realize how hot it was and roll back the glass for a really lovely light breeze. The ride was so inexpensive and really relaxing, I would totally recommend trying this out! read more

Took the 2 hour Grand Cruise at noon on "Bohemia". PROS: Large, long, beautiful modern river boat. Perfect for selfies to make everyone back home jealous of your glamorous life! Service on upper deck was efficient. Good views of Prague Castle from several angles. CONS: This is NOT a guided tour -- no live or recorded commentary. Just sit and look at unknown sights. About half of the 2 hours were spent in a lock waiting to raise or lower this and other boats. Sitting on the non-covered upper deck (lower covered enclosed area was reserved for lunch cruisers - 34 euros for food vs 20 euros just cruise) in mid-day sunshine at 73 degrees F. while the boat was motionless became very uncomfortable. Only drinks could be ordered on the upper deck. read more

we went on a small boat called Elvira with a captain named Lenka and she was amazing! Nice environment but paid for 60 mins and got 40 -- 1/3 of the time is significant. Additionally, you drive down the river get to a point and just flip a U rather than making a whole circle. Once turned around the boat clearly went much faster and the backend was not very enjoyable. Still rather fun but I bet you could find better tours. read more

This trip was terrible. It pretty much was a waste of 2 hours. There was no narration. We just sat on the boat and looked out the window. It was really frustrating. We felt like they didn't go the full route and there was a lot of time that we just say there. Never again. Save your money and find another tour. read more

Boring would be an understatement for the 3 hours we spent on the 'Prague by night' dinner cruise. The boat was stopped over an hour out of the three hours, although they said it's a non-stop cruise. Service was rude at best. Food was abysmal and crappy at best. Almost no lights through the night, leading to no view at all. We kept yearning to get out. The driver was probably drunk as he kept bumping into the banks / construction during the ride. We were scared to sit through for the most part. Some people got off the boat during a stop and we tried to get out and they did not allow us. Very poor. We paid 39 euros per person, as we booked through our hotel, who charged a 13 euro commission. I wouldn't waste my time even if they offered a free ride. Very poor. read more

Although the boat ride was very calm and relaxing, the narration was horrible. It wasn't always clear which side of the boat you should be looking at for the few descriptions that were given. We would recommend that they incorporate headsets with multiple languages at each seat so you can choose your language and not have to listen to all of the others in between. Unfortunately, this is 45 minutes that we will never get back! read more

Be aware that you will be sitting for most of your trip in the locks (both ways) for a great deal of the time of your boat ride (over half of the time). We sat upstairs and the service was very good. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating. The boat itself is fine and there is adequate seating above deck on a nice day. It is a beautiful trip and you get to see a lot, but I probably would not have gone if I knew we would be sitting in those locks that long. read more

My husband and I took a boat ride down the river in "Prague by Night - Dinner on Boat" (Boat: Bohemia Rhapsody). We paid $200 (US) for the two of us. The welcome drink was 1/2 the size of a shot glass, the seating was horrible, the food selection was very small and not very tasty, the service was below standard. Very disappointed to say the least.
