This current visit was delayed by almost an hour, and then I sat in the dilation room for another hour. No explanation, apologies, discounts or compensation for the delays. DISCONNECTED DOCTOR with MAJOR ISSUES!!!…read more Lenora left me unattended while I was doing a visual field test. I first started with my right eye, and when I was finished, I had to wait a few minutes b4 another tech showed up to test my left eye. This was concerning and unacceptable. Medical verbal abuse and inappropriate behavior conducted by Dr. Neil Notaroberto, when he told me that I was dropped off at his doorstep. He also got visibly irritated when I asked about AMD & Macular Degeneration. His response was I will get confused, and that I don't have that. His bedside manner is unprofessionally disturbing. My visit was on Tuesday the 16th of May 2023, and as of Wednesday the 17th of May 2023, he is no longer my doctor. The very next day, I notified Eyecare 20/20, of my intentions. He would get 0 stars, if that was an option.

Ochsner billed $545 for a basic eye exam. Davis Vision paid there part of $152. I paid my copay off $20. Over 4 months later Ochsner is still billing me the remaining amount of $373! Nobody at Ochsner is willing to help or listen to the issue. Appears Ochsner is billing me for "coinsurance" instead of a "copay". Davis Vision calls Ochsner but nobody answers and Ochsner never receives correspondence. I was planning on sending my family to Dr. Nihn, but after all the time I've spent on the phone dealing with this unresolved bill- I'm never going back! Davis Vision advised I'm not the only one this happens to with Ochsner. Be warned!
