Dr. Neil is an exceptional surgeon! However waiting an hour after your scheduled appointment time…read moreto see him is unacceptable. My time is just as valuable as his, even though I did not go to medical school. The front office staff leaves a lot to be desired. They believe they are doing you a favor by assisting you. If the new Doctor in the Slidell office echo appointments at 8:00 AM then he should arrive at work at 7:45 at the latest not 8:20! Again, just because I did not attend medical school Medical school does not make my time any less valuable, especially since my insurance company( the benefits l put in many hours to earn are paying a premium for his services.

When I checked in, she asked for my ID and insurance card, which I handed over. Had the eye exam. Everything went great. Go to checkout and I'm told that my vision insurance is out of network, so I'll have to pay the full amount of the visit. That they stopped accepting my vision insurance. I asked why at no point was I informed of this and they couldn't give me an answer. I always check in network/out of network for new doctors. But I've previously gone here (and so has my son), so it didn't even cross my mind to make sure they still accepted our insurance. If they're in network for you, great! The docs are awesome! But you never know when you'll suddenly become out of network and not be told until after your exam. The office manager was helpful in providing me the information needed to file an out of network claim with my insurance. However, at no point did a receive an apology or a promise to better train her staff.

Ochsner billed $545 for a basic eye exam. Davis Vision paid there part of $152. I paid my copay off $20. Over 4 months later Ochsner is still billing me the remaining amount of $373! Nobody at Ochsner is willing to help or listen to the issue. Appears Ochsner is billing me for "coinsurance" instead of a "copay". Davis Vision calls Ochsner but nobody answers and Ochsner never receives correspondence. I was planning on sending my family to Dr. Nihn, but after all the time I've spent on the phone dealing with this unresolved bill- I'm never going back! Davis Vision advised I'm not the only one this happens to with Ochsner. Be warned!

I joined Northshore Rejuvenation in particular for the benefits of in-person weight-loss care and…read moresupport, but was met with very little support and my concerns were definitely not addressed. When I joined in September I was told I will be seeing Dr. Heather Bronaugh every 6-8 weeks to go over my progress and to expect an average loss of 1pound/week. Neither of these were met, and I kept being told to wait longer with the dosage increase. Every week I felt like I was fighting them. Fast forward to today I've been with them for 16 weeks with a total weight loss of 9 pounds AND only saw Dr. Bronaugh ONE time yesterday, that is not including the initial visit back in September. Yesterday was the last draw for me and after seeing Dr. Bronaugh I have cancelled my membership and am excited to move forward with someone who actually cares about their patients. I am a big believer in Semaglutide Injections and am very happy there are other options for me out there. If you're looking for In-Person great support look elsewhere! Good luck!
