I always make it a point to give a little extra leeway for vendors sent by American Home Shield…read more(AHS). I know that AHS does not compensate them as well as they would like. Unfortunately some vendors don't even meet that low bar. This company sent a Mr. Sanchez to patch a hole in the wall made by the plumber. I've had similar holes patched in several homes so I am familiar with the process. The impression we were left with was that Mr. Sanchez was hoping we would pay $275 (apparently this was with a $100 discount) to him directly so he specifically told us that this is the quality work we will get because we are AHS customers. This looks like my 4 year old niece put masking tape on the wall then painted over it. The tape (Fire Tape) is peeling so I don't know how long that will hold. Mr. Sanchez specifically told us that this is the quality work we can expect since we are going through AHS but for an extra $275 we could get normal looking basic work. I am not sure how much AHS is paying but for less than $25 I could have purchased the materials and done it myself to get the same quality. When I spoke with Mr. Sanchez on the phone he was an absolute delight to speak with (please note sarcasm). He called me ignorant and told me to "Do Whatever the 'F*$%' [I] wanted." While I don't like poor workmanship I like profanity even less.

Water was everywhere outside, master bath and second bedroom. We were at a loss of what to do and who to call for help. We ended up getting 2 bids on the job. First guy lowballed cost to try to get job and it was very obvious. Wright Brothers quote by Renatto gave second bid. Renatto is very professional and knowledgeable about his craft. He helped walk us through the process every step of the way. I can't imagine in the San Francisco Bay Area you could find a better contractor. As they say, Renatto did job and got done on time and on budget. Excellent work and workers did good finishing touches. Sincerely, Jeff & Pat

There was a specific list from the landlord that needed for be to be cleaned, which I told her. After the service I did a walk thru and everything was great! Overall, I would recommend them for cleaning service.

There are articles online that say it doesn't make a difference. I had my solar installed and activated in 11/2011. Attached are yearly production totals for 2012-2014 to show you what the system makes optimally in 2012 and 2013, when they're new/clean, and the degradation when they're dirty in 2014. Also attached is the production totals for 2021-2023, which covers the year that Nathan cleaned my panels and the following year, and shows the dropoff a couple of years later in 2023. So it seems that for my location/roof, my panels stay clean enough for optimal production for 2 years before needing cleaning again, your mileage will vary. But you can also see the improvement made with the cleaning. I had my panels cleaned once before sometime between 2013-2021, I don't remember the year, but I didn't notice much of a difference. It was done by someone else, and they either scammed me or did a poor job. Based on this data, I'll be using this company to clean my panels every 2 years.

I found Tim's response to my questions the most reasonable and in sync with what the roofers were telling me(I was replacing the wood shingle roof) at the same time. Tim had the skills to coordinate with the roofers who did not always show up when they said they would. He did a very good job on the bathroom skylight. The framing for it was extensive. The side benefit,as Tim said is that my roof is stronger as well. I found Tim to be very trustable, reliable and straight forward. His honesty is impressive. Case and point: Tim asked me if one of my vases had always had a chip on it and I told him yes. He was concerned that one day(Saturday) he had brought his teenage son with him and the kid might have damaged it. Tim could have just kept quite. I found his son to be polite and well behaved. Tim is not a licensed contractor however he has over 30 years in this type of work.
