The EoS was absolutely packed... so packed we had to park in what felt like an unofficial "hope your car survives" dirt lot on the edge of civilization!! Nothing says relaxing getaway like hiking in from the sand dunes to hit leg day. Inside is your classic EoS experience. Cinema room so you can do cardio while pretending you're productive at a movie. Shark tank because... intimidation builds character? Cryo lounge and recovery room for when you realize 3 hours was an aggressive choice. Plenty of machines and racks, so no excuses!! Sauna was massive, which was great, but it could've been a little hotter. I mean, we're literally in the desert..... so, how are we not sweating like rotisserie chickens in there??? But hey, it got the job done. We showed up, we lifted, and we felt great afer. Can't complain!!!

The vibe is pretty cool, with an outdoor space not sure if their is a pool and Jacuzzi. But They do have separate dry saunas and a movie theater, just like most locations. A quick heads-up, some gym rats can be good at hogging machines, so please be kind and courteous to others. Overall, it's a nice gym perfect for a quick workout session.

My membership was terminated citing 'several complaints' funneled through one third party with zero specifics ever provided to me. I kept entirely to myself during every visit. In their own written communication they explicitly stated I 'generally followed all written gym rules' -- yet terminated my membership anyway based on vague unspecified allegations with no dates, incidents, or specifics ever disclosed to me. After receiving no explanation I reached out to two members through social media seeking clarification -- a natural response when accused of unspecified wrongdoing. Rather than address my questions the owner called me a 'predator' in writing with absolutely no evidence or basis whatsoever. For a gym recognized with the State Senate Award, Mayor's Award, and Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award -- the owner's conduct represents the opposite of everything those awards stand for. I have full documentation of every written communication, including contacting the USPA for further review

After two years of working out here, I've unfortunately decided to cancel my membership. I figured…read moreI'd share my experience in case it's helpful to someone else. Things didn't get off to the best start. The website said the first visit was free, but when I arrived, I was told I didn't qualify because my driver's license was still tied to Los Angeles. I had just moved to Palm Desert and hadn't updated it yet. I let it go because I was planning to sign up anyway. I joined during a promotion and was told my membership would be $23/month with a one-time $1 enrollment fee. I noticed the contract also mentioned $50, so I asked about it. The employee told me it didn't apply to me because I was signing up under the promotion. Two weeks later, I was charged $73. When I asked about it, I was told it was the annual maintenance fee. So there are actually are three different charges: the monthly fee, the annual fee, and the enrollment fee. I wasn't upset about the fee itself - I was disappointed because it hadn't been explained correctly. I continued going mainly to the Palm Desert location for the next two years. The biggest issue is how crowded it gets. Finding parking is almost always difficult, especially in the morning and during the day, and you'll probably end up waiting for several machines. Another downside is that equipment breaks fairly often, and some machines stay out of service for weeks or even months before they're repaired. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming, and they've recently added new equipment, which is nice to see. More recently, my membership went from $23 to $25 per month. It's not not a huge increase, but it was disappointing because I was originally told my promotional rate would stay the same. In the end, the biggest reason I'm leaving is simply that it's become too crowded for me to get a good workout during the hours I can go. One more thing to be aware of: when you cancel, you'll still be charged for one more month because they require 30 days' notice. I wish that had been made clearer from the beginning. I'm grateful to the staff and appreciate the past two years, but it's time for me to find a gym that better fits my schedule and needs.
