I enjoy swimming and Cascade has the best pool in the area so participation here is a matter of limited selection. My problem is the lack of policy/signs/refereeing something that keeps inconsiderate lane swimmers in line. Cascade has no posted policy or signs that direct how people should behave when there are others waiting for a lane. Since there are numerous older adults that seem to have developed blindness because they don't 'see' people waiting nor do they ask anyone. Instead, they see someone getting out of the pool and head directly to the lane that just opened up simply not caring that others are waiting. Most people seem to want to avoid conflict so nothing gets said empowering those who are already feel privileged enough to just jump in. Then there's me. I will say something and I might not be nice about it because your rudeness put you in my path. So, lane cutters if you can't turn to those waiting and ask then expect to get called out or for me to jump in 'your' lane. I simply won't stand for your rude behavior or whatever excuse you have for being like you are. As for Cascade - this on you. You have no policy, no guidance and no monitoring leaving us adults to police themselves. Fortunately, most do an exceptional job of policing themselves and have decency and courtesy. However, there are some that don't possess decency and probably have limited self-control when confronted about their behavior that could lead to an altercation between parties. If this were to happen to me you can bet that I would seeing you in court... And, while you are pondering this matter please scrub the pool! It's filthy. The walls and floor of the pool are coated in brown slime that cause slip when trying to push off. P.S. this also applies to those that are in a lane and invite someone that just shows up to join them instead of the next person in line as it should be. Friends don't get a free pass to the head of the line.

No other gym make their members have more than a 30 day notice. No business even a rental house has more than a 30 day notice when it's month to month! No call back, so I called Victor a week later and was told that there's nothing they can do since the club is now owned by Gold's gym and not Denise. It's Gold Gym's billing system and they can't make any changes. Now it's Feb. I called Victor to let him know that we will call our credit card company and cancel the charge. Now it's no longer a billing issue but a contract issue. He told me to go read my contract. That all cancellation needs to be in before the 1st. My request was received on the 2nd! Threatened to send my account to collection and that extra charges will be added since I'm not following the contract if I call my credit card. Wouldn't advise it since there will be a penalty charge added. Needless to say I will never join this gym again. I will go out of my way if ever I need to sign up my child to the swim team. Today, they bus in other teams to swim and we pay over $170/month so that 5-6 kids share a lane.

All 3 of the urinals in the men's locker room have been replaced however the area still has the same foul urine odor. 2 of the 3 non working hand dryers have been fixed. The issues in the shower area still have not been addressed and all of the soap dispensers are empty in the shower stalls. The same water fountain in the workout area still has an 'out of order' sign on it for the 4th consecutive week.

I feel like Kisar (the owner) is always trying to improve the classes by bringing in new and fresh ideas to the table, which is great, considering I really enjoy challenges. And if you work out with him, be prepared to get REKT. That guy pushes you to your limits, every time!! Burntown also has nutrition programs to help you kick start your journey. And the trainers... can't be spoken about highly enough. Each one is FANTASTIC and adds their own flavor and style to their classes (s/o to Emily who has a booming/motivating voice, who takes time to correct my form and lets me know if something looks to easy for me). I love a gym that takes time to learn about each members goals, and help them achieve them. And I love a great community that supports one another, and you get that here with Burntown!

I've been a member for around 3 years and for the monthly fee they charge i think they're a great deal, you'll pay considerably more at Snap! Fitness. I've never joined AP's classes so I cant commnet on them, but otherwise this is a very clean & well maintained gym. Though not as big or equipped with quite as much gear as the the larger gyms like 24 hour or Ballys, there is ample cardio and weight lifting machines and free weights to get you through any type of workout. I go every day and do both weights and cardio so I'm well familiar with this gyms offerings. Also nice is that members can use the gym 24/7 with a pass card they give. Nice to be able to workout at 4am if you so desire, or any other time. It allows you to workout on your own schedule, a big help to me.

I said something to Matt and he basically said thats just how it is right now and that everyone has the right to use the handicapped stall. What about the right to a real handicapped person ? And why are men and women having to share space ? That's weird is it because you only want to sanitize one area? Another thing I dislike is that people are not wearing masks in changing areas. We really like the people there everyone is great but I have to put my client first and really think about this. I'm not sure what happened to Chris but he was so helpful and accommodating sure wish he was still there.
